As with all older homes, surprises will inevitably show up. During our new roof install, Jeff and his crew were instrumental in tackling each issue that arose. Jeff explained each issue/process as they came up, was up on the roof everyday and even went above and beyond to check in on us during a storm that came through in the middle of installation. Jeff is a master of his craft and a true advocate for "best practices". His office manager, Chrissy, was there to answer any and all design/paperwork questions with a smile you could hear over the phone. We can sleep soundly knowing the quality of roof we have over our heads. Thank you Pennington Roofing & Construction!!

So easy to work with!! We had a new roof completed. Great work, we received pictures of all roof work throughout the process to see everything they had to repair and replace.

Pennington roofing did a fabulous job on my re-roof. Supplied pictures of all wood rot that needed replacing, finished on time and left my yard clean of all debris. Chrissy in the office was a pleasure to work with to coordinate everything. I would highly recommend Pennington Roofing.

Jeff "27 years experiance"... Heard that about 30 times in our conversation!
Came to look at a roof (he put on) and chimney cap. He wanted to bet it was the stucco...again he said "I have 27 yrs...everytime its the stucco... waste of my time to look. His evaluation was the chimney cap missing. When I said if we bet, I'd win ;-) ;-)... then he said...and... the stucco was bad...lol. He then told COA everything is good except chimney (only thing COA doesn't cover)!
Come to find he spoke with COA president before & after... A friendship...? Humm...?

Then I took him to look at another job... Jeff spoke about how bad it was for about 30 minutes, finally, I told Jeff, he could continue to complain or make note and take pictures and send me a quote....

After all that, he never gave a quote! A waste of my time... and guess his?

Jeff and his team are the BEST! The flat roof on one of the additions in my house was constructed so poorly - puddling water, leaks, termites, you name it... I had several roofers come out to quote the job - Jeff came the following day after my call where the others scheduled me days / a week out. Jeff is extremely knowledgeable, honest and easy to talk to - the other companies focused on the problems, gave me the typical sales guy pitch, and honestly looked scared lol but Jeff focused on the solution to our problem, pointed out things the others didn’t, and was able to explain it clearly to someone who knows nothing about roofing. I knew this job would be a nightmare so I asked them all for a their initial quote as well as a “worst case scenario” quote. Even though both of Pennington’s quotes were the highest out of all of them, we still decided to move forward bc we felt confident they would be the ones to get the job done RIGHT. Turns out the roof was WAY worse than any of us expected once it was removed and they literally had to build a new roof!! I can’t imagine if we would have went with any of the other companies.... I probably would have been coming out of my skin - but Jeff and his crew changed the plans and got right to work on fixing this massive problem. Even with the additional work, they were very reasonable on the price and honestly, you can’t put a price tag on your peace of mind! Oh and Chrissy in the office is awesome! She’s very responsive, personable, and downright hilarious! Huge thank you to the entire Pennington team!!!! Five stars, highly recommend!!!

I can't think of anyone other company to recommend to do their roof. Jeff is honest and really takes pride in the work he does. I can not recommend him enough.

Jeff did a fantastic job on my new roof. He was there every day up on the roof supervising the crew and he took the time to point out the fine details that his company does that the others do not.
I have already received a lot of compliments from neighbors and they were impressed at how Jeff took care of everything for me. I even had them replace the facia boards around the edge as well as the soffit around the entire house. They do it all.

It's been 4 1/2 years since a roof fell on our house and also destroyed our three-car garage. We were out of town at the time when a neighbor called with the terrible news. Knowing Mr. Pennington, we called him from where we were; it was a severe problem. As we got home, would you believe it! He, contractor Bob Gray and their crew were in the process of a major clean-up. Unbelievable! Four weeks later we had a totally new garage, a new roof on our house, and a completely repaired sunroom. No one could do what the crew did. My wife and I are forever grateful for his work.

Great experience. Jeff came in a hurry to fix what some other roofer claimed they fixed, and were stumped on why it wasn't fixed. Jeff was knowledgeable, personable, reasonable, all the things you want in a company. He is the real deal!

I highly recommend Jeff Pennington and Pennington Roofing and Construction, Inc. We were in need of a new roof (we had the original roof - 26 years old) and gutters/soffits. We received 5 estimates from local roofers. Our neighbor had just gotten a new roof with Pennington over the summer so we included them. Jeff's estimate was in the middle, but the fact that he came out to give the estimate as the owner of the company and climbed up on our 2 story house and garage roofs to look at them before completing the estimate sealed the deal. He also had the equipment to make the gutters and soffits on site. The crew worked hard - 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. for 3 1/2 days. Chrissy Dias, the office manager was great about keeping us updated with everything. The roof looks great. Very happy with the end result.

Jeff and his crew were so professional and nice. They showed up right when they said they would and were so efficient. Jeff even helped us out after our install when we had a small leak during a tropical storm. I can't recommend Pennington Roof enough!!!

The thought of needing a new roof was pretty overwhelming. We looked for references on NextDoor as well as talked to a number of neighbors, etc. We went through the process of obtaining estimates from three different companies. Have to say, we had an excellent experience with Pennington Roofing. Jeff Pennington, the owner, came out to do and discuss the estimate with us which was much different from the other companies we looked at where the owners were not directly involved. His estimate and explanation of what needed to be done was very fair. We were most impressed that Jeff was here on the job site every day and even worked with the crew on the roof. In just four days, Jeff and his crew removed our old tile roof and put on a new shingle roof. Jeff and Chrissy, his office manager, communicated with us all throughout the process.. Everything was fast, efficient, and well done. Our new roof looks amazing. We would highly recommend Jeff Pennington and his company, Pennington Roofing and Construction.

wow! just wow! I got a reference from a company that did not do seamless metal roofs in South Tampa and told me to call Jeff! thank the lord I did! quality finish and product with great service. I am following up the roof construction with seamless gutters which Jeff does as well. talk about a guy who knows what he is doing from a-z! then if you have questions he is there for you! it matters to me to get a great product first and then the follow up service just stellar! but to come out the other end with someone who is there as a friend in the end is pretty special to me! thank you for a great deal all around! Can I give him 10 stars? Jeff is a busy guy because he does GREAT work! He has put 3 roofs on my personal properties. He has done repairs for several of my clients and a couple more roofs for clients as well! I am glad I found him!

All I can say is wow. Prompt, very friendly service. Fixed my issue in no time flat. He even fixed our bent gutter without my asking! Was extremely courteous and I would highly recommend!!

We just bought our home and ended up with a roof leak right into the breaker box... we needed someone to come out ASAP to fix the leak so that we could have the box replaced. We called around but nobody could come for at least a week, even those claiming to provide emergency services. We found Jeff and he was here the next day, quickly found the source of the leak, and repaired it before the rain started back up. He checked the rest of the roof for us and measured so that we would know the cost for a new roof in the future. We will be using Pennington roofing for all of our future needs all will be recommending to everyone we know!

Pennington Roofing replaced my roof and did a great job, Jeff explain to me that once they removed the old shingles they might find more damage “bad wood” and his guys did, there was added cost to the repairs but I was just glad he was upfront with me about it. Bad spots were repaired and the new roof looks great and no leaks. Highly recommend Pennington Roofing!!!!
