I've known Wayne Kentner - the man, the myth, the legend - of Peninsula Construction Services for almost six years, and I strongly recommend Wayne and Peninsula Construction Services to anyone with any residential or commercial project needs, big or small. I interviewed SEVERAL General Contractors in 2019 before building out my dream hot yoga studio in Manette, and Wayne literally shone as the "Eagle Scout" (which quickly became my nickname for him) among them all. Wayne and Peninsula Construction Services give a good name to General Contractors: they show up when they say they will, they do quality work, they are transparent and upfront about their costs and project unknowns, and they communicate clearly, directly, and professionally about any issues impacting the project. I'm currently building out another commercial space with Peninsula Construction Services at the helm. Wayne is Kitsap's General Contractor who you can TRUST.

I personally got a chance to stay in one of Waynes homes and he does not care for his properties. If you have a problem with any of these homes you will only be directed to his “assistant” who will make her first impressions with lies.

The cover of his book was just ok but the further you read you will wish you had just stopped at the first page…Not a good person.

He is full of excuses and does not take responsibility. If you care about your money and want an adult or professional, walk away. You all have been warned.

I can't say enough good things about Peninsula Construction! Reading the other reviews I can say their reputation for professionalism is well earned. This was my first remodel (full kitchen & 2 baths). Wayne and crew were very patient in answering all my questions and helped me to make good choices. Creative solutions helped improve the function of the kitchen. They also in at budget. The finished product was more beautiful than I imagined and reflected MY style and what I wanted for my home. Most importantly, Wayne is a great communicator and works effectively to resolve issues and keep the job moving to completion. The challenges of supply caused by the COVID shutdown, affected our finish date, but the crew did their best to make sure that my house was still functional while we were waiting for some products. Highly recommend!!!

I have worked with with Wayne in the real estate scene, and have had the pleasure of seeing his work, and the end product. He is extremely professional at what he does, and his work is extremely high quality! I highly recommend him whether your job is big or small. He and his crew can handle any job, whether it full renovations, remodeling or upgrading. I would not hesitate to hire him to work on my own home.

Employee in a company truck tonight tailgating me with high beams on because I tried to get around a truck doing 10 under, and followed less than a car length away until I was able to move over. I've had a long day too and I understand what it's like to need to get home to another job site but that isn't the way you should conduct yourself when you're representing your company.

Wayne is amazing. His attention to detail and the pride he takes in his work is obvious. He does quality work. We used peninsula construction, most recently, for a master bath remodel. They were always on time, and very professional. This time was the second time we used them, the first was a kitchen remodel. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Not sure what the reviewer with the flooring issues is referring too. PCS installed 400 SF of hardwood flooring in our kitchen and it is perfect. I have walked on other people's poorly installed flooring with cupping, warping, etc.. None of that here. They must be confusing PCS with another contractor. In addition to flooring, PCS has done kitchen and bath remodels for us, as well as bay windows and room expansions. We are having them work up another quote for us on a master bedroom expansion. Notice I say quote and not bid. We won't use anyone else for major projects on our home.

We are very circumspect with our money. Many hard years of work make getting the most out of our hard earned cash very important.

PCS has done two remodels for us. One master bath and one kitchen. The kitchen was a complete tear out. Sky lights installed, cabinets removed, walls moved floors replaced, windows added, new cabinets and new counter. Every step of the way was carefully crafted, the work was done professionally and on schedule. We now have the kitchen we always dreamed of.

I fully recommend Wayne to do a job you will be happy to wake up to every day.

This company remodeled my kitchen and a bath for me. they did a fabulous job. was very prompt and did over and above what was expected of him. was on time every morning and a professional attitude. the work was great and they are tedious with all the details. They were clean and polite and made the whole experiance very pleasant. They were ahead of schedule and did not need to work late. We got our moneys worth and will use him on our next project.

These "expert" contractors laid a hardwood floor for us and it was a disaster!
They clearly did not know how to properly nail edges and left too large of gaps in the boards.
We had to research the correct way to put down this flooring and relay that info to them!
We even had to ask them remove several rows and redo it!
They may do other wonderful work but We would NOT reccommend them for a hardwood flooring install.
