The Peak One team exceeded our expectations on our remodel project! Peak One's communication though out our project was excellent. Our project manager, AJ, did a fabulous job of managing every aspect our our project. We had whole house remodel. Exceptional job. Kevin was awesome. We were remote for most of the construction and the team did a great job communicating with us weekly. Highly recommend, trustworthy.

Peak One Builders did an excellent job remodeling my condo. Mike, AJ, Ben, Morgan and the other contractors were a pleasure to work with, taking pride in their work and being highly responsive. However, I cannot recommend Katherine Mueller Design, as her values did not align with those of Peak One Builders.

Peak One did a fantastic job on both a pool remodel and a room addition at our house. A number of challenges came up during the room addition project, and Peak One was able to successfully address each in a professional manner and on budget. Mike has a great team. Kevin was our project manager and he did an awesome job. They also have a dependable network of subcontractors that did good work. I would certainly recommend them for any construction or remodel project.

Great experience working with Mike and Kevin. I bought a custom home from them and then added on a pol and deck and privacy wall. Place looks amazing. Really good quality construction. Good serve. If you can get Kevin as your project manager you will have gotten a good one. Really cares. May add a casita at some point. Great working with them.

We have used Mike, Jesse and Peak One for several home remodeling projects. They keep us well informed along the way, are very organized, are extremely detail oriented and complete the projects in a timely manner. Their quality is second to none. Morgan in the office is also a great help keeping us informed and in the loop. A great team.

I was referred to Peak One Builders by friends who had previous experiences with them. I needed a pool and horse barn built at my new home. I met Mike Christianson, the owner, and it was clear from the very beginning I had chosen the right company for my project. Mike listened to what we were envisioning, asked all the right questions, and got to work. He came back with the perfect design for both the pool and barn so we gave the project to them and off to work they went. We never had to be concerned about the progress because throughout the entire project Mike and his crew stayed on track and kept us apprised of the progress of the build. He and his team completed the job on time, even overcoming typical construction delays. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and work ethic is second to none. The finished product superseded our highest expectations and is admired by anyone that's seen it. Mike is a local veteran and his personal work ethic reflects that. I was proud to offer him the job and I highly recommend Peak One Builders to anyone. You will not be disappointed!

If I had to characterize Peak One Builders & Restoration with one word, it would be, professionalism. Peak One is owned and operated by Mike Christenson, a still young army veteran who is the embodiment of trust, integrity, experience, and a can-do attitude. Mike, Jesse, Morgan and team were great to work with from providing a detailed estimate and scope of work that we could use with our insurance company, all the way through permitting, demolition, rebuilding, and finishing of our kitchen / great room. A lot of this happened while we were away and I cannot say more in terms of how we trusted Mike, Jesse and team to be working in our home while we were not present. It was easy for us to discuss challenges and follow-up items with Mike as they arose - he was unflappable, solution-oriented and he and Jesse worked hard to make sure we were satisfied. We are very pleased with the outcome of our kitchen / great room project, and are very happy that we worked with Mike Christensen and the team at Peak One Builders along with their kitchen cabinet partner, Affinity Kitchens.

A big thanks to Mike Christensen and his team at Peak One Builders! We were having an issue with our architect so we researched four custom home builders to take over our project. Peak One was the hands down winner and we are are so glad we picked them. Mike took our plans, collaborated with us to fix them, and then built us a great house that we are very proud of!

Mike's military background was a critical factor in our choice and he came through with flying colors. His attention to detail was amazing. He exhibited a high level of integrity, ie, he always followed through on what he said. His professionalism and structural engineering background gave us comfort that we have a well-built house. His team at Peak One were very competent and showed us respect for our time and choices, and were always there to answer questions and guide us through the entire process.

We would highly recommend Peak One Builders to build your custom home. I have offered Mike to bring potential clients through our house anytime and show them what a beautiful, solid house we built. The best thing about Mike is that he really cares. From day one, he was fully engaged and stayed with us on every decision until completion (and still calls regularly to see if we are satisfied).

We hired Peak One for a major remodel for our kitchen, dining, and living room. The original estimated time for completion was about 3 months, but due to poor project management (in our opinion), the actual time was significantly longer than that. Initial demolition took one week which was fine. However, the next week, not a single worker showed up. Over the next several months, there were many weeks when workers showed up for only a few hours per week. The quality of some of the subcontractors was poor and frequently workers would show up having to ask us what they were supposed to be doing that day. The painters were sloppy and planned on leaving prior to final touch ups, although we got them to satisfactorily complete their work. The cutout in the granite for the cooktop was off center. The tile setters had to come back twice because the wall had not been prepared properly and the appliance installers had to return to put in the range hood as that space was also not prepared properly. We believe that the majority of problems was due to lack of foresight and inexperience on the part of Peak One's project manager. In addition, we expected the project manager to return onsite at the end of each day to oversee progress, but there were many times he didn't show up. Other problems included unfair charges that we thought we had an agreement with Mike that we were going to be reimbursed, but in the end he seemed to remember things differently, so that didn’t happen. I did not hire Peak One for two additional phases of our remodel.

We were referred to Mike and Peak One Builders by our realtors when we couldn’t find the exact house with the view we wanted. Mike and his team turned the house into just what we pictured.
We did a complete renovation, basically taking everything to the studs of the existing 3000 sq. ft. home and added an additional 1500 sq. ft., including a master wing, office, bedroom and a casita.
Mike’s construction knowledge and attention to detail are second to none. Jesse’s communication and work ethic far exceed those in the industry. They were both willing to go out of the box and try different projects to make the house unique and one of a kind. They were flexible and understanding to ensure they met our needs and completed the job quickly.

Mike is a great communicator with outstanding experience and an excellent crew that has been with him for many years. His subcontractors are the best available in the valley. Finishing our Scottsdale home near Pinnacle Peak was done efficiently working around our requirements and leaving the work site neat and clean every day. Thanks Mike - Jim and Lynda

Mike and his team at Peak One are absolutely fabulous. They executed a remodel in our home this past fall and they handled every aspect in a professional manner. Their work was high quality, they always communicated well, and they have the highest integrity. I know that sounds a little too good to be true -- but it is. I highly recommend Mike and his team!

Peak One has completed two major renovations at our home; Kitchen/Family Room and Master Bath/Bedroom. The most basic question is, "Would you do business with them again?". My response, "ABSOLUTELY!!" Remodeling is always a risk, but Peak One mitigates those risks with their exceptional building knowledge and remodeling experience. These are exceptional project managers and problem solvers. They estimate, manage and build the work with military precision and keep you informed weekly. We also always felt SAFE in our home when they were working, and SECURE literally handing them the keys when we were not; we were never worried. In completion, on time - as designed, there was always a detailed billing pursuant to the contract and never a dispute. These guys are honest, solid, experienced building contractors. We will definitely work with them again!

The team over at peak one builders did an exceptional job with our home. We came to Peak One with a vision, and told them to take it from there. Their advice and expertise along the way was incredibly valuable, and spot on.

We did a full home remodel, including 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, family room, dining room and a kitchen. Mike, Jesse and their team did an excellent job managing the project from start to finish. All of the trades that they had in our house did a wonderful job, both from a service and a quality standpoint.

All of the normal things that come up during a remodel were handled without any issues making the process stress free. We also came to Peak One with several changes along the way, and they managed this process perfectly by communicating all the different information to us in a way that we could understand and make the best decision possible.

Finally, the most important thing when choosing a contractor in my opinion is knowing that the job is going to get done right. This was the reason I chose Peak One as they had a perfect reputation and several recommendations. I am about 8 months out from my remodel being done and haven't even had a single issue with any of the work that was done. I believe that speaks for itself!

“Peak One Builders did an amazing and truly custom addition and remodel of our kitchen. Peak One was extremely patient with us during the design phase and helped modify the plans and sketches until we were satisfied. During construction we had several new ideas and changes that we wanted to make and they worked with us to incorporate the changes. From hanging a huge wood slab from the ceiling as a dining room table, incorporating a pop up TV in the kitchen island to creating a custom wine cellar underneath the stairwell – they never said no or it wasn’t possible.
