Casey was punctual, did a nice job, cleaned up the area when completed, and finished on time. I will definitely keep the company in mind for other handyman projects.

Had four smallish tasks around the house that needed a professionals touch. Took me almost a 2 years to find a handyman that will do it. "It's too small, or it's not paying enough" is what they told me. I sent an inquiry to Response Crew and had a reply back in a couple hours, provided acceptable hourly rates, and made my appointment. Came here to write this review because it should be known how great their service was.

Service Tech Luis arrived early in a Saturday morning with a big smile on his face and assured me he could handle all these tasks. Funny enough, we had a minor shared connection to our childhood when discovered we both love G1 Transformers.

2 hours later, I have a new ceiling fan, hanging dining lamp, a smart doorbell installed, and fixed the broken kitchen cabinet face. And best of all: the price was much lower than I thought once I received the invoice. Only bad side; I had to let Luis leave when he was fished. Cool guy.

I have them saved to my phone book for any future needs I may have in the future. Will absolutely recommend them to my friends and co workers.

We had much difficulty opening our front door which is a heavy steel door that had dropped slightly on the side that opens. Luis figured out how to get that lifted and evened out. He also made the deadbolt easier to lock. We are so happy with his work! This is a custom made door that we love. Luis was knowledgeable, efficient, and thorough. He's also just a nice guy! We also had Chris here recently, who fixed our door handles and did plumbing work for us. He was excellent as well, very skilled and knowledgeable. The Response Crew is a crew you want to have for any household needs. We are very satisfied and highly recommend!

A kitchen drawer broke. I couldn't see the problem and it just looked bad. I don't know who fixes stuff like this. I asked my ac maintenance folks if they knew anyone. They offered this company and as an afterthought offered that "these people are trust worthy" Hmh. I called.
They worked with my time constraints rather than attempting to pressure me into theirs.
They sent a pic of the workman so I'd know what he looked like. I shared I'm older and on a budget is there any possibility of a discount, yes. He indicated he didn't barter. The discount helped.
The workman was well groomed, polite and positive. He fixed the drawer so fast ... Id looked too and couldn't see the problem. Done. Railing got bent somehow. Ok
A clippy for a shelf had broken too. I had plenty of clippies but they did not fit the openings and the space was awkward. He offered a better fix that would never break. Great idea. Fixed that too kind of fast. Offered other areas that he worked. I did have a door that went off its hinges. A friend gave me a temp fix but warned me that id have to buy a new door to fix it. A door for $80 plus some type of delivery. The door looked ok. I just didn't use it anymore. Another worker agreed Id need a new door. I shared my dilemma with the workman. He said I didn't need a new door. It just wasn't attached incorrectly. He fixed it on the spot. Just like that. I questioned him and he insisted I test it. He never bad mouthed anyone for wrong information.
The workman could have made that job more expensive by going to the store, bringing back a new door. Attaching a new knob and all that biz. He didn't. He never said anything negative about the wrong info that was passed either.
They are my new go to place.

This was an extremely easy and professional company to work with. They showed up on time and provided quality work output. They were extremely accommodating for my corporate environment. Reasonable rates and friendly staff, too! I would definitely consider them first for any of my office repair needs.

We needed a door repair for our inner garage/kitchen door. Response Crew was the best price, and we got several bids. They came out on time, assessed what was needed, and completed the job. The work was great, and they were able to save us some money by determining that the door and most of the trim were still in good shape.

If you have ever experienced the middle of the night chirping from a smoke detector without the physical ability and/or knowledge of how to make it stop, even after changing the battery...then you might understand my urgent desire and need to find a handyman service to help bring the quiet back to the house. I called around the next day and the only company that got back with me was The Response Crew. Arrangements were made and "Casey" arrived at our door to quickly take care of the matter. Since our home is a bit older, it was decided that we wanted to update all of our smoke detectors. Casey quickly picked up the new smoke detectors for us and replaced them all. He was professional, courteous, friendly and efficient. My husband and I will definitely be contacting The Response Crew (and especially, Casey, if he's available. :-)) for our future handyman services, which could keep him busy for several more visits. Today we had Luis come to our home to replace wood siding! He texted me to remind me he was coming, arrived early (8:00 am) and worked solid for 9 hours. Before he arrived, he had already picked up the panels. Luis is a master carpenter and handyman. He replaced many of the rotten board siding and you couldn’t tell where the old left off and the new began. After fixing 9 large boards, Luis even fixed the grout that was in bad shape. He went above and beyond all of our expectations. I will always call him whenever I have a project. He charged half what another person had bid! I’m a realtor and I’m very picky! Use these guys!! Awesome company! We hired response crew to help install some den doors we bought. The team was quick and did great work. We bought the doors from this awful door company called United Porte (Scottsdale location). United Porte was awful (do not ever buy doors from them). But Response Crew was able to deal with their bullshit and really came through for us. Special thanks to Yigal for helping us through the nightmare with United Porte Scottsdale. He went above and beyond to resolve the issues that should have been the responsibility of United Porte Scottsdale. We will be hiring response crew for our master bathroom project next. Highly recommend!

they came out to move a washer drain line and install a drier vent they cut a sizable hole in my wall disconnected my washer drier and said we need to do this and this and i said ok the man left for 2 hrs comes back says i can’t fix this patches up the hole hooks up the washer and leaves. next time i wash clothes water gets everywhere a inch of water in my laundry room i had a handy neighbor come out and look it over he said they didn’t use teflon they half assed everything from the beginning and now my wood floors have water damage i would be very careful if you choose this company they are lazy and incompetent

Rosie's team recommended Response Crew to replace a worn and rotted front entryway threshold. Luis came out and fabricated a new step strip rather than replacing the entire threshold. I couldn't be more happy with the results!

We had a great install experience with our door install.
Luis removed the old door, installed the new door making sure to caulk and seal with silicone for a solid fit and to keep the critters out. Installed the door handle and deadbolt and they work perfectly.
Took the old door and cleaned up after so there was no mess.
Next time we need a door installed we will call Responce Crew again.

We needed to get a couple of hallway doors hung. Yiguel was easy to deal with when scheduling & quoting the job. Chris showed up on time, was friendly and professional. He did great work. Would definitely recommend & use again.

Luis did a great job for us with a tricky drywall patch. He creatively blended the patch to seamlessly hide a troublesome exposed pipe. His work is thoughtful and meticulous and fairly priced. Highly recommend.

These guys did a great job. I was out of town and had to fix several small this for a finicky renter (smoke alarm battery, light bulb out, etc). They did it all.

My technician was David. I needed an old indoor roller blind removed and replaced with a new one and also needed some drywall repair around the window and at the seam where the ceiling and wall meet. He was very personable and explained the materials he was using and how he would complete the project.
I also like the confirmation texts prior and confirmation text day of service which includes a picture. The work actually came in below the estimate. The estimate was based on pictures I uploaded. So, I guess it wasn't as bad as it looked. Lol.

Like a lot of reviews. Complete lack of professionalism. They hung a tarp canopy over our backdoor and chose to use flimsy string, and even tied two pieces of string together because it wasn’t long enough. Pictures attached. It sagged so bad the next day we couldn’t even open our backdoor. Jennifer said that was normal lol. Within three days the canopy completely fell. It took them two weeks to come out again. They then lied about how long it would take to fix it when I tried to work with them, wont use them just based on shady business ethics. Use a different company that knows what they’re doing.

Response crew was fairly easy to work with. The repairman arrived on time and eventually made the necessary repair. I removed a couple stars because initially I thought it was convenient to send photos of the job and receive a quote via email. But, when the repairman arrived, he did not have the proper materials to complete the job. He left and went to Home Depot. I was not aware of this, but since they charge by the hour, you are being charged for their trip to Home Depot to get supplies. Again, I am satisfied with the work completed, but I would not use them again. This could be resolved by doing an in person estimate of the job, this way, the repairman knows exactly what supplies are needed and can arrive ready to work, not running up the charges with a trip to purchase supplies.

I scheduled to have two very heavy lights hung. I sent them the light I wanted hung, a picture of the area I wanted them hung and how heavy they were. Two handymen showed up and had no clue what they were getting themselves into and instead of saying they wouldn’t be able to do it, they did a hack job. Not only that, but they never actually got our second light hung during the time/rate we agreed on and left us with an unfinished job. We ended up calling Parker and Sons to come do the second light and they told us the handymen screwed up the first light to the point where a drywall repair would not have been possible. I’ve asked for a partial refund because we ended up having to pay Parker and Sons to fix their work. After giving all information and the invoice from Parker and sons which says the previous work was done incorrectly… no refund, terrible management, and now I’m out $400+

I’m so happy that I found this company! I’ve used other handyman services in the past and have had negative experiences so I was skeptical at first. My email request for a service quote was answered within 10 minutes on a weekend. On Monday I was scheduled 4 days later. Brandon arrived on time and finished all of the quoted services, plus one I sprung on him after he arrived, in less time (and less cost) than anticipated. Brandon, and Response Crew, are professional, courteous, skilled, and now my first call for any home issue I run into! 10/10 and would recommend to anyone! Thank you again Brandon!

The Response team is ALWAYS professional and eager to assist with work order requests. Mario (field technician) was onsite repairing a broken lock and did a great job. His level of communication with me was great and as a customer, much appreciated! Highly recommend this org.

Response Crew is my new favorite handyman company. We had a hot water leak that resulted in the need for some drywall, baseboard, and carpet removal for a drying out process of everything affected by the leak. Per our insurance company, two different construction companies came out to give us an estimate on needed repairs. When it came time to schedule, neither of the other companies were responsive. I called Response Crew, and they scheduled us for repairs in less than 2 weeks!

The intake process is really simple. I emailed Response Crew a report of what we needed fixed and photos of the job. They sent back an estimate for labor and said any needed materials would be charged at actual cost (no mark-ups).

On the day of service, Jack called prior to the service window time to let me know he was on the way. Jack and David arrived on time. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They completed the work as discussed in my emails with Response Crew, and even finished a little earlier than expected.

Of note: we still need some carpet padding replaced and a small area of carpet re-installed, but Response Crew let me know ahead of time that they don’t contract for flooring needs.

I highly recommend Response Crew for any household repairs that they contract for. This is the second time we have worked with them, and we have been very pleased with their work and communication on both projects. They also seem to have very fair and transparent pricing, which is always nice. Thanks Response Crew!

Luis was very knowledgeable about how to best solve window problem and did an excellent job in repairing the drywall damage around the frame.

We have been using Response Crew since 2018. The office staff are responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. The repair men always do a great job and are friendly as well. Pricing is reasonable. I always recommend them to friends and family.

On November 7 2022 David from Response Crew came out to do a new installation of a bathroom fan. This job had a lot of moving parts. David had to first locate and cut a neat hole in the bathroom ceiling, then get into the attic and install the fan itself. Next, run fan exhaust ductwork across the attic and out. Finally, an electrical power line had to be fished up from the wall switch in the bathroom up to the fan. David did an excellent job. I've dealt with a lot of contractors in the past and feared all kinds of things going wrong, nothing did. I was really impressed. I would not hesitate to call Response Crew again.

Update: thanks for your response. Unfortunately I don’t know exactly where we were at. There were just two guys in The van at the time. Seeing how you probably have multiple vans I’m sure it’s not easy to identify. 2* for the employee and 5* for your response.

Not sure about work quality but the older guy driving in the van today was a complete jerk. We are simply waiting to get over in heavy traffic with our blinker on while he blasts his horn for about 10-15 seconds. So sorry you had to wait for 15seconds to be on you way.

Jack was the handyman who removed unnecessary wiring in our house. He was excellent. He was thorough and completed the job carefully and effectively. Amiable and hard working. Very glad he was able to do the job.

I am so glad I found these guys. My handyman's name was Jack, he was friendly, super knowledgeable, and took care of the issues with my cabinet and door hinges. He was also able to identify the root cause of the issue for my ceiling fan. Great service and I felt they where transparent in their fees, which was a relief. I will definitely be reaching out to them in the future for any repairs.

Great experience. Jack arrived to install 6 new ceiling fans as well as replace some of our wall switches with smart switches. Really nice guy and he worked efficiently for the 5.5 hours he was with us. He stayed late to finish and we appreciated how he made sure everything was working and done right. Good pricing as well. We will definitely use Response Crew Handyman again in the future!

Good experience with Response Crew, they were timely, estimated the job price within half an hour of the actual cost. The final cost less parts came close to $100 an hour which seemed fair for the overhead and good reputation.

I used Response Crew for Rod & Curtain installations! Both Angel and Jack were wonderful for consult and actual work. Also, the office staff even tipped me off on an idea for curtains, etc. I will for sure use them again and recommend them to others as well, thanks Response Crew!! :-)

We had a leak in the wall and after the plumbers ripped the walls out and everything dried out I went looking for someone to put my bathrooms back together. Two back to back bathrooms needed drywall, paint with texture and vanities replaced. Response Crew was quick with the estimate, the techs showed up on time and the work was done professionally and at a very reasonable cost. I will keep Response Crew on my list of contractors for the next project we need done. Highly satisfied with the quality of the work and the price.

Paul and Angel were a great team! Showed up on time, were pleasant and efficient and did exactly what I asked them to. They finished everything in a few hours that would have taken us days (or years). I would use them again and again…they have my unqualified endorsement!

What a great find the Response Crew is for us! And an even greater find was our handyman, Kelly! Kelly is knowledgeable, courteous, and great at communicating in person and via text. Kelly replaced an exterior utility door--a pretty complicated task. Kelly checked out/measured the old door and searched diligently to find an EXACT replacement, got the door quickly ordered, and kept us in the loop on its arrival. Once the door arrived, Kelly removed the old door and all the rotted wood framing, installed the new door, repaired the stucco around the door, and painted the new door. Definitely worked the job in a high quality and efficient manner. I would recommend Kelly and the Response Crew hands down! We will be using them for all our home projects!

10/10 we had response crew help us with a bunch of projects in our new home - ceiling fans, lighting fixtures, tv mounting, and faucets. Angel went above and beyond and we could not be happier with all the work he did. Quick, quality, and fairly priced.

What a joke. Charged us $500 to install a vanity that was already assembled and put into place. Said it took 4 hours to complete. For any handyman that is worth $100/hour this should have taken no more than an hour. Also said they bought $200 of “materials” and charged it to us. Won’t provide a list of said materials and the vanity itself cost less than that and it was provided. Don’t use this company unless you like being ripped off.

This company is my go to for any handyman, install and repairs I need. They have several techs and they can install and fix almost anything!! Great employees and wonderful business!

Very quick and efficient. I was getting an in-wall safe installed, but the spot I wanted it didn't have any wall studs needed for secure mounting. They were able to add internal framing for it without tearing up the whole wall. I really appreciate their ability to accommodate my needs and do high quality work.

Great Handyman service! We recently moved into a new home in Scottsdale and needed to have some heavy furniture hung on the walls. It was a tricky installation and Tim did an amazing job. He was efficient, effective and made sure to clean up everything when he was finished. He is coming back next week to do some more work for me. I was thrilled with the service. Also, Jennifer in the office was great with the scheduling. She is responsive and extremely helpful. I will definitely be using them again!

I have to replace the under-cabinet microwave with a range hood to better vent out the kitchen air. When I requested the quote, there are only few responses, and one is not available (booked out till September), one is out of service area, the only positive feedback is Response Crew.

Kelly arrived early before the scheduled time, and tried his best to do the job. However, the scope of the project given to him was not completely the way I mentioned in my quote. I stated that after installing the range hood there are back splash tiles need to be patched up, Kelly was not aware of this, and said they do not provide tile service. I wish they had made that clear.

Also, because the weight and location of the 2 machines, the job usually requires 2 persons to better proceed. I hope the company will consider to equip the technicians with jacks or other appropriate tools to handle the job in the future. In any case, I helped Kelly to finish the job as much as I can with limited supplies from Lowe's (the duct pipes are not flexible, so Kelly needed to do some improvise).

Overall, for the time and cost spent on this project, we are good with the end result.

We really appreciate his extensive knowledge and experience. He fixed all of the little and bigger projects we had in a timely manner. My door handles have been a pain to deal with for some time. After my failed attempts to be "Bob Villa" I may have made things worse. I had the pleasure of working with Paul Smith of response crew. The job that I needed was to have an interior door installed. The door was a bit problematic and required some modifications. Paul was able to quickly identify the problem, and was able to quickly adjust his method for issues that arised. He had all the tools needed to complete the job, seemed very familiar with the process. He even went the extra mile (no pun intended) to go to home Depot and grab the correct door and install it. This is a great company if you want fast, reliable handyman repairs. They are on time, and do good work. Wasn't so pleased with last person, but this time the repairman not only did the requested work, but also checked all the drains and fixed a slow one in the shower! Even caulked around the tub faucet and valve. Will definitely use again

I have engaged the services of Response Crew a couple of times since moving into my new home. They helped me build a sauna, balance some existing ceiling fans and move/reinstall the washer and dryer after the house remodel. They have always been on time, professional and courtesy and cleaned up whatever there was to clean. They even wiped down the washer and dryer that had been stored in the garage and was covered in "remodel" dust. I have recommended Response Crew to several friends for some of their "handyperson" needs. Thank you for all that you do!!

The company was easy to setup an appoint with and thorough with their estimate. I am able to drywall and spackle, but I cannot match texture. They came out to do the work, very professional with covering items in the kitchen and did not leave a mess.
After the texture dried and I put on a coat of paint, I felt that the texture did not match well enough and I called to inquire what can be done. I was told they would keep working until I was happy, and I really appreciate a company taking that approach. Texture is not easy! It came out great the second time and I would refer this company to others.

As a poor grad student, I thought I was doomed when the front door to the condo I rent was kicked in overnight. The deadbolt lock and door frame were irreparably damaged, so I was left without a way to lock the only entry door to my home during an extremely busy time in the semester. Luckily, I was quickly contacted by Jennifer with Response Crew after filling out an online form. After snapping a few photos and sending over an e-mail, I was provided with a reasonable quote the very next day. Jennifer understood my situation and that I needed this problem handled quickly and was able to schedule a service appointment within the week. The Response Crew member who fixed my door, Luis, was on-time, friendly, efficient, and went the extra mile: the three cats in my apartment were rather inquisitive of the work he was doing and he made sure that they didn't escape! The finished door looks like nothing ever happened. I was sent an invoice within two hours of the job being completed. The work took exactly as long as quoted, yet the finished project still came in under the quoted budget - a VERY nice surprise.

We had the Response Crew out to our home twice once for removing the kitchen appliances and then re-installing them for our kitchen remodel. Both times they were very professional and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The remodel was not perfect but they were able to figure out a away to install the dishwasher that was a bit rough due to the remodel not being straight causing a tight fix fort eh dishwasher. We will be using them moving forward for all our future projects.

Jennifer was great going through the options available to fix our need. Kelly came out and did the work to fix our air conditioning. The turn around time was short. Kelly was a pleasure to have at the house. Highly recommend Response Crew.

UPDATE: I recently used Response Crew this month (April 2023) and in my opinion this company has gone downhill. It's very difficult to contact them. Calls always go to an answering service and sometimes Response Crew doesn't call back until the next day. This is not good for emergency situations. I needed some minor electrical work done, which they say they can do on their website. However, I found this not to be necessarily true. The wires going to my thermostat and doorbell are broken and they can’t fix those. On their website they say they can run electrical wires for electrical repairs, but they said they can’t fix my broken wires. At that point I didn’t feel good about using Response Crew anymore, which is very disappointing because I thought I had found a great handyman company to use for years when I need small repairs done. Use them at your own risk. Maybe you’ll have better luck than I do. Well. . . I guess my search for a good handyman company starts again.
