A month ago, I had Pawcatuck Roofing shingle the roof on my mother's garage in Westerly. The price was more than fair, and the job looked great. They've always had a reputation for doing quality work, and when the job was done, you couldn't find a nail on the ground. They left the job cleaner than a hound's tooth. I was very happy with the job, and would highly recommend them for any job.

Brent and his crew showed up right on time and ready to work. They did an excellent job tackling our complicated rooflines. We had them move two skylights which necessitated them working inside too but the cleanup was so meticulous that you’d never know anyone was there. The cleanup outside (after the roof was done) was just as thorough.
The price was good, the customer service was excellent and the job was done to our complete satisfaction.

We had a large roof replacement project completed this week. They had a well organized staging of material and equipment ahead of our start date. The project manager (Todd) and his crew showed up on time on the scheduled date. We had documented our requirements in the bid (important step), reviewed them with the project manager (another important step), who then assured that all the details in the bid were completed. The project was a large complex roof replacement, the crew worked through a bit of rain but finished in 2 days. The clean up was complete. We are very happy with the job they did for us.

I hired Pawcatuck Roofing to remove and install new shingles on the addition part of a portion of my house. After looking at the roof from ground view, one small piece of the roof was not done as per agreed to the contract. Before paying the invoice, I brought to this their attention and it was resolved immediately and correctly.

After this was resolved, I paid the invoice and brought another issue to their attention. I found this issue when looking down on the roof from the upstairs guest room. A project manager told me it was flashing that was needed tucked under and it would be resolved by them. After sending the photo via email a few days later, i was informed that this was the j channel damaged. Pawcatuck Roofing offered to quote me on this.

I asked them why this wasn’t communicated and I was told a manager would call me back. A manager never called me and I inquired through email a week later. The next day, the company called me and I was told that it wasn’t communicated as it would take all day. I remember when doing roofing quotes that if a J channel was damaged, it wouldn’t be much of an issue and would be a quick fix with usually just material costs.

When I told them the timeline for fixing the J channel wasn’t accurate, the lady told me a manager would call me back. When the manager called me back, he said there was two ways of doing this. 1. removing the siding, which would take all day. 2. Sliding the new j channel under, which would cost $700 to come repair it. Note: I was told when it was damaged, it was already damaged when removing the old shingles.

I asked if this would be the same price if the guys fixed it when installing the roof. The manager said yes and I told him I would take this matter into my own hands. Overall, it seems like Pawcatuck Roofing does poorly it first-time quality and communication. I will not be going to them for when I renovate the rest of my roof when it’s needed in a few years or recommend them to anyone who asks for a quality roofing company. Unless someone asks for a headache of a roofing company that is affordable.

Pawcatuck roofing replaced my roof in spring 2024. Our old roof was about 25 years old and beginning to let moisture in. I had received multiple quotes on the project, and they can in at a competitive price. Unlike the other companies, there was no pressure to upsell. The work was completed quickly and professionally. Best of all, other than a great new roof, they left no sign that they had been there. The team even used magnets to ensure no stray nails were left in the yard where our children play. We had a very rainy month after the install, and our roof is keeping us nice a dry. Good price, easy to work with, and a quality roof. I highly recommend Pawcatuck Roofing.

I contracted for some repairs. At first they sent a crew that I suspect were sub-contractors. They arrived out of the blue without scheduling a time, and were not prepared to perform the work as written. After a short conflict, they left. (What if I hadn't been home?) I received a call from a person different from the one I had first dealt with. When she refused to let me have the job my way, she agreed to send my deposit back. I told her that it is unfortunate that the company issued a contract and took my money for something they would not deliver. The next day I received a call from the person I had made contact with in the very beginning, and she offered to set up a date for the work as written. I accepted. A new crew arrived (later than promised--50 minutes outside of the promised window of time) in a company truck this time, and worked for 3.25 hours. The work was done as specified. It rained like crazy the next day and all is good. They put some construction debris in my recycle bin and I had to move it, but not the end of the world.

I have used Pawcatuck Roofing for two jobs now and both times they have done an outstanding job. The first time was a couple of years ago for a broken tile on our multi-colored slate roof. I was nervous to entrust just anyone with that job because of how delicate the tiles are, but they handled it perfectly. I can’t even tell which one was replaced! This year I bought a house that needed a full roof replacement and a repair made to a tree damaged area, and I knew just who to call. Brent came out and talked to me about the job, I had a quote the next day, and the work was scheduled quickly. The team completed the job in 2 days, and when it was done, the project manager, Sam, called me to go over what was done and see if I had any questions. The roof looks great. Based on their professionalism and experience, you would think their cost would be higher than the competition, but they are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend Pawcatuck Roofing!

The quote to replace our 20-year old black asphalt shingled, moss stained roof was reasonable and spot on. The crew was so hardworking and focused on every detail, from removal to cleanup. The new Timberline hickory shingles are so beautiful and functional!! I highly recommend them.

A piece of my siding came down near my roof. I normally use a neighbor who is handyman. He has been promising me since May. It is now September and I finally decided enough was enough. I contacted Pawcatuck Roofing on a Tuesday. Rob came out on Thursday and said it was an easy repair and would schedule it. His Worker came on Friday morning and was done within 30 minutes. Both Rob and his worker were friendly, polite, professional and helpful. I wish I could give them 10 stars. I will recommend them to everyone and will not use anyone else. Pawcatuck Roofing was everything I wanted in a roofing contractor. Reputation for quality which they delivered on. They have been around a long time and will likely continue to be around if I need them in the future. I knew that my 25+ year old roof needed to be replaced one day soon, but when a recent wind shear peeled off a large section of shingles from one of my outbuildings “one day soon” was moved became now. Every dollar was accounted for. The price was competitive and the materials are all top notch. Once I signed the contract, I was on the schedule for two weeks later. After 50 years it was time to replace the roof on one of our barns, and yes, as we expected, it was overdue. The team immediately responded to what they found, replaced rotted plywood, installed fire and ice waterproofing, new 50 year shingles and two new large farm ventilators. all within 3 days! I used Pawcatuck Roofing for a roof replacement (shingles only) and am very happy with the service from estimate to completion. The estimate was an honest and thorough evaluation of the state of the roof and how much longer it could last. Scheduling and planning was clearly communicated throughout. The installation was a 2 day process with care taken to protect the surrounding areas and communication on progress. The team cleaned up at the end of the first day even though they were coming back again. Clean up at the end of the project was very thorough- no nails, or scraps. I called to get a quote to get a roof leak fixed when I noticed water damage in the house. After almost a month I got an email quote for $1000. No one has seem the leak or been to the house, they want to slap a patch on a issue they do not know how bad it is and will not guaranty their work. This is a scam from the way I have been treated, they only want your money and do not care if they fix what you are paying them for.

I developed a leak in my roof. The company that installed the roof 7 yrs ago want able to respond due to covid issues. I called Pawcatuck Roofing, a well established business, figuring they would probably be able to help. I was not disappointed. As this all developed as winter was settling in it took a little to get the crew out here because of weather events. But, they came and fixed my roof, reflashed my chimney and repaired some crumbly mortar. Seems water tight right now. I recommend them. Thank you PRC!

I needed a new roof and gutters after a big tree limb came down on the house. Pawkatuck Roofing came in with the best estimate and the new roof and gutters are wonderful! Sam was great leading the roofing crew, and they were extremely efficient while putting on a fantastic roof. The gutters went up the next day in no time at all. Due to a wind storm I had many shingles blown clear off my roof! Pawcatuck Roofing did a fabulous job of removing the entire roof (garage and breezeway as well) replacing everything with a brand new beautiful Timberline shingles!! Pawcatuck Roofing was very professional from start to finish. Finished result is top knotch, completed by a hard working team. excellent cleanup and care for my home.

I was told by some architects that G.A.F. Timberline HDZ were great shingles and that they would last me for the rest of my life. I wanted to do the roof once and do it correctly. So I got several estimates for G.A.F. HDZ Timberline with the Gold Pledge warranty, so I compared apples to apples. All the other estimates were a lot more more than Pawcatuck Roofing. One of which did not include the Weather Watch ice/water shield over the entire roof. I was told by the architects due to the low slope of my roof a full roof of ice/water shield was advisable. Pawcatuck Roofing included it over entire roof. So I went with Pawcatuck Roofing. Their price was the lowest and they are very professional. The work crew did an amazing job. Brent was very helpful. I probably drove him a bit crazy, as I ask a lot of questions and do extensive research. Sorry Brent! I have already recommended them to people I know for a roof. My friends know that I do my research thoroughly before a big purchase so they trust my opinion. My roof looks great and I am very happy that I choose Pawcatuck Roofing for the job. The crew who came and worked their butts off on a brutal heat have my respect and gratitude, they did an outstanding job.

They did a good job when it came to installing the roof, which in the end it’s what you’re looking for when you hire someone. However, they somehow punched a hole on my wall, and their best response was “well you can fix it yourself, we did give you a brand new roof”.

They also over ordered supplies worth around 300-400 dollars. Since it’s not their money they are spending they didn’t seem to care. I ended up with a bunch of supplies, that will be wasted.

We received a few estimates and Pawcatuck Roofing was who we immediately felt comfortable with from the start. Since our house came out so perfect, we don’t think anybody else would have done a better job. We would/will recommend them to anyone.

We had 4 different estimates and their price was very fair in comparison.
We had a very large job including a new roof with dormers, a detached garage and all new certainteed vinyl siding that looks like real shingles.
We also had all of our trim work replaced w azek , new gutters, Mitsubishi line covers and our lighting totally swapped out.
Brent’s crew with Luis at the helm did a fantastic job and we couldn’t be anymore pleased with all the details, it came out absolutely perfect.
Not everyone can have such a great crew whom works so hard and efficiently and a special shout out to Alex you are very talented at trim work.

Pleased with the entire project process. The calls were either answered or responded to in a rapid time frame. The lowest quotes were offered to begin with without trying to push the insurance company to come up with more money. When the actually work was started the dumpster and material were delivered on time and crews showing up immediately. Crew was large enough and supervised to finish in one day. All work items were completed as listed and cleanup was to an extent that you could not tell the crew was there. A neighbor remarked that appreciated no wind blown debris was anywhere near their ears. Would gladly recommend Pawcatuck roofing to any person needing a re-roofing job.

We got six quotes to strip and re-roof our our house. We chose Pawcatuck because they were the second lowest and I had had great experiences with their work on two historic properties I am involved with.
The dumpster ,materials and crew arrived exactly as planned. The crew was fast, efficient and courteous. The supervisor went over each step and answered all my questions. I recently contracted Pawcatuck Roofing company to replace my roof. My home was built in 1940 and the old roof had old roofing boards underneath the shingles and there were small leaks in spots. Brent came out and gave me an estimate as well as explain in detail regarding the scope of the work. Brent provided me with a detailed estimate to replace the roofing boards with plywood, shingling with GAF HDZ shingles as well as re-flashing the chimney. Pawcatuck roofing came out to start the work right on schedule. All the crew showed up on time and worked extremely hard throughout the day.
The project was estimated to take a little more than one day to complete. Sam, the project manager kept me well informed throughout the day regarding the progress of the roof replacement. Later in the morning, Sam informed me that the crew was progressing ahead of schedule. Pawcatuck Roofing Co. finished the entire project in about 7 hours! The crew cleaned up the yard and left it spotless! The roof looks amazing and works great too! We got 2 inches of rain the following night and there were no leaks! I am so happy that I was able to get the Pawcatuck Roofing company to replace my roof. They are true professionals. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.
