We are so grateful that Paul Davis was the company to help us with our house fire. They were there the day of until we were home, every step of the way. They restored our home and items beautifully. Tjey were rough with my stuff knocked the handle off a wood dresser I found the drawer handles in the yard. Scratched up several pieces of furniture that were not scratched before. Threw away all the items in my cedar chest which couldn't have been damaged by the fire except my dad's casket flag. They threw away a pet rock in the cedar chest how could that have been damaged over 1700 worth of memories and the insurance only paid me back 2/3 and Paul Davis was not held accountable. They threw these things away after they took the cedar chest to their location be cause I did not find any of my daughters baby clothes or quilts in the house after they left with it. Would not recommend them. BEWARE!!

After repairs, I still have water leaking into my home, windows were glazed instead of replaced, they dismissed my concerns, and overall it felt like we were taken advantage of by Paul Davis in an insurance situation and given the bare minimum. Corners were cut and money was not properly used to fix our home by the team assigned to my home. They stored the toilet in my tub with no tarp and I not have rust and chips in the bottom of my tub.

Came out same day we found basement flooded. Our KFB insurance company got us in contact. They arranged furnace and water replacement and plumber all in a couple days everything was back to normal.

This company is very professional and very knowledgeable of the work they do. To name a few of there best Trae,Chris,Mark. I would recommend them to everyone.

The crew was here within 15 minutes of my phone call and they had the wet carpet and flooring in several rooms up and out of the house within a matter of two hours. They left equipment to dry the rooms and baseboards. Very appreciative of what they did, and so quickly.

I am exceedingly pleased with the generous and capable assistance we have received from Paul Davis by Chris Jenkins, the Estimator, Donnie Newton, the Mitigation Manager (crew supervisor) and Donnie's crew, thank you! Both are engaging and easily accessible to handle questions, responding well when adjustments to the mold mitigation plan must be made.

Donnie's kindness makes us feel like we have extended family members visiting to help us during our difficulty. I now appreciate the art form of building back better from an existing structure, rather than starting with a clean slate like new construction. My family's health has improved, and I sleep much better now that Chris and Donnie have carefully helped us clear the post-mitigation mold inspection.

I look forward to seeing Donnie's crew again in a few months to remove wood flooring from the remainder of our ground floor in order to place tile there to match what we chose for the most heavily impacted area during this current restoration work.

I highly recommend Paul Davis Restoration! We had a house fire on September 9th, 2022. It was about 7 pm on a Friday night, but that didn't stop Brian Vogel from leaving his dinner table to come to my back yard and help me navigate the situation. I had no idea what to do or where to turn. He was an angel showing up out of nowhere to guide me to make the right calls at the right time so we would have shelter for the night. He called upon his team at Paul Davis to come board up our home that night and help us get some clothing together for them to clean and bring back to our hotel within 48 hours. (It would have been 24 hours, but our clothing was almost beyond saving) The team at Paul Davis gave me much needed information as to what to expect while navigating the process of getting the damage looked at and estimated by my State Farm adjuster. Everyone that I encountered along the process was empathetic and helpful. Paul Davis also handled the demolition and rebuilding of my home. Paul Davis is a well orchestrated company and they work hard so we don't have to. The work they did to restore my home was great. I love my newly restored home. Thanks to everyone that helped me.

Our condo building was suffering from water intrusion that had resulted in serious structural wood failures issue including sagging floors on several levels. Paul Davis's team of experts professionally returned the building to 'better than new'!

Honest, dependable, and excellent work provided after an interior water line break caused damage to 3 floors of house. Bathroom floor needed tile removal and replacement. Great work by tiler. Painting, dry walling, and rug cleaning were also involved. Would use again.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. EVER!

Initial response was great. Men that came to our home were nice and polite. After that it was all down hill.

Company hooked up too many humidifiers and fans at once and caused power surge that blew our central air unit. 96-98 degree temps in our home with all machines going. Took 3 days to get it repaired after numerous calls and promises. Husband missed 3 days work waiting for someone to come and repair and watching machines.

Home, wood floors, carpeting, Fans humidifiers, house not checked for 3 days straight. No one from Paul Davis called or followed up. I Sent Text Sunday at 11am about poor srvc no one cking equipment. 1 hr, after text, unannounced and still with no call, two men show up to our homer, emove equipment but had no knowledge of what was next or who would follow up.

Has been over 3 weeks since Paul Davis first came to our home,9 days since removal equipment and numerous calls fom wife still no call or communication of any kind from Paul Davis Systems. Our home is a mess and we have no idea when it will be fixed!

This was the second time I needed their services and again I was not disappointed. Professional and courteous employees. Willing to work with you when not filing insurance. Made sure the mold was addressed everywhere.

I am a caregiver for a 82 year old man. He had water damage to the 2nd. floor of his garage. This was no ordinary garage. It had a bathroom with a steam shower, very expensive fixtures. A game room. Vintage piano, pool table, antique slot machines, barber chairs and a antique barber pole, antique Coke cooler, and many other vintage items. On the first floor he had 4 vintage cars and trucks. Paul Davis had did an outstanding job on one of his rental properties that had a kitchen fire 4 years before. So of course we would call them again. The worst decision we could of every made. This happened in February of 2018. Today it is April of 2022. They have not finished!!!! I know this sounds unbelievable, but very true. And covid had nothing to do with the job for the first 2 years that they seldom showed up to finish the work. We had to deal with 3 different supervisors, each one completely unaware of what work the first one had done or needed to finish. I would get calls from them and they wanted me to make lists of what still needed to be done. I am not a contractor, I thought that was what they were paid to do.They actually installed a kids size sink in the bathroom after breaking the one we had, ordering the wrong one twice, and of course telling us they were waiting it to come back in stock, which I looked online and it was in stock, so they lied. I even had the vice president of Paul Davis tell me he was going to get it all done completely and when he didn't and I had to continue to call he told me he didn't have a plumber to install the steam shower. Which they had already tiled the floor and painted and had not tore out the damaged shower yet. I guess that was his way out of not having to redo it again after they should of done the shower first.No one knew what the other workers were doing. One of the first things they did that I still can't figure why, was to put the flooring down in the game room before they finished the painting and drywall repair and trim. When I complained about the scratches on the new floor they put paper down on top of dirt, nails, wood shavings without at least sweeping the floor. He has two double doors on the 2nd floor that they have completely screwed up. They have bowed, then replaced, put up to where you can see light all the way around the door, replaced, now they are bowed again and they put slid latches to keep them closed that are so tight you or an 82 yr. old couldn't open without help. The whole experience has been a nightmare, the cars were put in storage, which they did not supply, 4 years ago he was able to drive. Now he has lost the last 4 years of not being able to drive, now he is not able to drive. Paul Davis is not the Paul Davis they used to be. I would not recommend them for any job, large or small. I contacted the BBB and it has almost been a year and they can not get them to finish. They claim covid is the blame. A real honest company would of finished this job 3 years ago. There is so much more they have not finished It would take me all night to list it all. You don't even want to know about the damaged antique Coke machine or broken barber pole they returned and all the contents of the game room are still in boxes, they have not unpaked and placed back in place. Do yourself a favor and do not go through this nightmare, use a honest company that cares about the work they do and the customer's satisfaction of their money well spent. No stars from this very disappointed customer.

I worked closely with Trae one of Paul Davis’s Project Managers, who assisted me throughout the course of the repairs. Trae is timely with solutions , professional, knowledgeable, and understanding. I would recommend Trae, as he is a great reflection on Paul Davis.

Trae Stewart is a rare gem in the contractor world! The level of service he provided to get my home repaired quickly was incomparable to any other service provider. He brought in and managed a team to complete the work and delivered on time with such quality that no one could tell the damage had happened. I would welcome Trae back anytime I have home repair needs and would trust anyone he used or recommended for help.

Remediation team arrived within an hour of being called. They were very thorough and efficient. Project manager kept all repairs on track and moving forward. Subcontractors were professional and excellent. Moving and packing teams were very efficient....nothing lost, nothing broken.

I'll assume Taylor Homes is a thoroughly professional outfit because they chose to use the same marketing agency/website developer that I was evaluating and ended up choosing myself. I was only visiting their site to evaluate its design.

Addendum: It is honestly a HUGE Praise that the company responded after writing and they came out again and took our concerns to heart and a big thanks that we had kept a video of how the shingles were nailed on one of the repairs over the year. The company decided that it was a problem and they redid the roof PTL!! We are over the moon thankful since this was SUCH a huge burden we have been dealing with for so many years! Thankful to have a husband that was able to patch as it went until it was beyond patching. I know the original roof was put on by subcontractors that they contracted and was prepared that we would have to fight, but honestly am over the top impressed with their professionalism and help once they realized that we were not just complaining about little stuff. Still wish it didn’t take so long for them to listen to the issues we had, but we are happy now and are SOO thankful that they are still in business..for that reason alone, I would recommend them.. been in business a long time and hopefully long time to come. Can’t say that from most roofers! Merry Christmas and heartfelt thank you!

We had a fire in 2007 and our insurance agency hired Paul Davis restoration to be the general contractor to repair the damage. They contracted a company to place a new roof on. They did it completely wrong and we have had 3 expert roofers out to evaluate the roof. All three have stated that the roof was entirely high nailed, no ice shield and many other issues.. we have had trouble with leaks from the beginning and the shingles falling all over the roof. We have tried and tried many times over the years to get them to fix what was done wrong. We now have 7 active leaks in our roof and the experts have advised us to get a lawyer and sue them because there is no statute of limitations on poor workmanship. they continue to say they contracted the work and that company is not in business.. We were just going to eat this 25000 roof until one prosecutor told us that that is what they hold out for and they are giving a bad name to all contractors. We are going forward with litigation.. I am serious when I say, we NEVER write bad reviews, we NEVER sue people, but this roof has been a disaster for a very long time and now our back is against the wall…. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…….

Trae Stewart made sure everything was taken care of with our house, we had plumbing issues that they resolved, painting, flooring everything was completed in a very timely manner, I would recommend this company to anyone!

When our insurance first put us in contact with Paul Davis it took two weeks for them to get out to inspect our roof.

Then after over a month of waiting and multiple attempts to reach them we gave up. We were informed by our insurance that Paul Davis had claimed they had completed the work even though nothing was done.

Avoid if possible

I wouldn't let Paul Davis work on my house if they offered to do it for free. they just completed work from an October claim that took almost 6 months to resolve. The actual scope of work only took 4 days but they remaining 5 months of lack of communication made it difficult to get anything done with PD not responding to emails or calls. PD withheld completing the scope of work that progressive paid out on their estimate until I paid before the work was done, with as much trouble as I had getting them to return calls or emails it was my fear that they would not complete the work once payment had been made. I eventually had to contact an attorney who advised me how to handle the situation. Finally this week they came to complete the work they withheld for 5 months only to use a contractor who did poor work. I had to take today off work to stay home and supervise the contractor returning to complete the work from the previous day. In addition to this, they broke one of my security cameras while performing the gutter repairs. Finally after the work was done I was able to make the final payment and get these guys out of my life. in the interim of all this occurring I contacted Amerestore who came out promptly and has completed more work in a shorter amount of time with a more professional response and decorum than PD. Absolutely would not use these guys.

We used Paul Davis to repair damage to our home after our dishwasher leaked causing problems in our garage and kitchen area. After the initial appointment to review the damage, we met with Trae, who managed our project going forward. Trae was very helpful in explaining every step of the project. He provided his cell and I was able to contact him at any time for questions or follow up. The project moved as quickly as I allowed it to (I delayed some of the fixes due to holiday season) and finished up with no issues! All of the subs I encountered were professional and friendly. They all showed up when planned and performed their duties as expected - even going above and beyond if I had a change or request. We had to replace cabinets, dishwasher, plumbing, drywall, and hardwood floors.. all is completed and it looks amazing! I would highly recommend Paul Davis, Trae and his team!

I had a flood in my home on XMAS Eve, two hours after our moving company left, a faucet in our master bathroom failed. Paul Davis was out within three hours and began mitigating the water damage. Because of them I was able to save the walls in my kitchen and the ceiling. They are helping me restore the cabinetry back to original condition and install a new floor in the basement. They are always responsive and very polite and courteous. Jeanette has been with us every step of the way and would always give us a heads up when she needed to come by, very sweet lady, and very good at what she does and extremely hard worker, felt like she was here 7 days a week checking on the house and adjusting dehumidifiers and fans to get maximum results. Can't recommend enough!

The night of my house fire was horrific as you can imagine. The fire company introduced me to Brian and Trey and at that point Paul Davis was hired as my restoration company. The employees at Content Central were extremely accommodating and responded quickly to providing me with clean clothes and needed electronics. Mark completed the home assessment and was very knowledgeable and professional. Samantha was crucial when working with Paul Davis, the bank and the insurance company. Both Mark and Samantha were very patient with my questions and help guide me along the process. Trey Stewarts was amazing coordinating and managing the home restoration. He went above and beyond any type of expectation I had. My home was restored ahead of schedule and is amazing! This team has the right formula to provide outstanding customer service, restoration cleaning, and home rebuilding. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate all the hard work and extra time they put in to help me through this entire process and to get me back in my home.

This company should be ashamed of themselves. Unfortunately I bought a home back in November and the previous owners never disclosed some serious issues that causes water to leak. There's mold throughout the house. I've had a air quality text done. I called Paul Davis Restoration to come look at the house and give me an estimate. The man that came and happened to be the vice president of the company. He was highly condescending and acted as if my issues weren't that significant. this is all in despite of the fact that I'm having a significant allergic reaction to the mold present in the home and I'm breaking out in a rash from head to toe and my children and I had to vacate the home. I am HOMELESS essentially because the home is toxic to me and my daughter. He acted like it wasn't a big deal then I practically had to beg him for an estimate. I asked him if he was going to write me an estimate and he said he would and he never did. I am assuming it's because they are used to more high-end homes and that the job was only in the 4-3,000 range. What a despicable man. I wasted my time on this company which was given to me by a lawyer. a lawyer who I am going to hire for a case of fraud. I'm amazed at how people care more about money than humans.

I deal with many contractors due to the nature of my job and I cannot say enough good things about Paul Davis. They are professional, responsive, and overall amazing. In particular, I work with customers that are experiencing loss to their properties. The water damage to my house wasn't a huge disaster, but Paul Davis treated like it was important, which to me it was! They were professional, courteous, efficient and took great care of my family. They explained every step of the way, worked very well with the insurance company, and got us where we needed to be. No reason ever to call anyone else should something happen again. The Sunday before Christmas 2019, the pipe that feeds the ice maker blew and water rushed across my open floor plan and under the walls of bedrooms - all carpeting and most hardwood floors - were ruined. The water extraction team was on scene within 2 hours of me contacting my homeowners--they arrived in the wee hours of Monday morning. From that point to completion, Paul Davis representatives - water extraction - structural and contents - were professional, timely and encouraging. For example, during the structural/restorative work, the project manager sent daily texts and photos of significant milestones. So when the work was done a day earlier than planned, I wasn't surprised and I was ready to move back home.

The hand-off between the different departments was seamless. The project manager for structural, who I had spoken to during water extraction, was walking in the house the same day the water extraction team was removing the fans! Then the contents team was ready to return the cleaned furniture which had gotten mildew at my convenience. Did not have to chase down any Paul Davis representatives.

And finally, all their vendors - plumbers, flooring, etc, were super to work with and their work was exceptional quality: plumber, dry wall (fabulous!), flooring, etc.

Sadly my homeowner's insurance was a disappointment in assessing the situation, keeping me posted and informed: with no "boots on the ground," the insurance company relied on Paul Davis and then second guessed their findings. So very disappointed that this primer company was treated so poorly by my insurance company. Had it not been for the Paul Davis representatives competency, I would have sued my insurance company.

I have recommended Paul Davis to neighbors, family and friends. This is a premier company with primer employees. Second opinions are not necessary when a Paul Davis truck pulls into your driveway.

The team at Paul Davis truly took care of us after a recent kitchen fire. Richard, John and his team, Fariba, and Bluebell were efficient and treated us like part of their family. You would never know that our house, at one time, smelled like a campfire and certain areas had been toasted!!
