I just wanted to say that my husband and I were so impressed with Justin and Brent when they came to clean up after a bathroom leak. They were friendly, courteous, respectful, and most of all very knowledgeable about cleaning up after a water leak. Vincent and I could not have asked for better service from Justin and Brent, I believed Guy came and brought some more items they needed. They answered any questions or concerns that I had, and I know they did the same with my husband.

We could not have asked for any better service than was given by Justin and Brent, I even learned how to use the AI camera on Google from Justin.

Excellent service, courteous, respectful of time, knowledgeable of the job, cleaning and removal of damaged flooring, baseboard, sheetrock, etc. ( they even had a broom to sweep up, never experienced that before)

Brent, Guy, and Justin have been great to work with for our water mitigation after we had a leak from our dishwasher. Their quick response lead us to canceling the restoration with another company so that we could use Paul Davis for the entire project. They have all been polite, understanding, and responsive. Brent even made a special trip to drop off an item so that we could use both sides of our sink again after having to disconnect the dishwasher from the disposal. I would highly recommend this team for your water mitigation.

Guy and Brent are the ultimate professionals. They treated my water leak emergency with care and professionalism and treated my home as if it were their own!!

I was overly pleased. I called my insurance company on 2/10 . When I hung up Paul Davis called to let me know someone was coming out same day. I was shocked bc it was after 4 pm. Brent Paul and Justin was at my house in exactly 45 minutes. They explained everything they were doing on day one and explained what they were going to be doing on day two. Day two they showed up on time and got right down to it!! On day three the came and picked up everything. I’m a person who lives by your word is your bond and time. They have exceeded both expectations. I will recommend this company and well as this don’t any in the future. Word of mouth is the best form of marketing and the customer service provided was represented the company to the fullest. I had never heard of this company until Monday and I’m glad my insurance recommended them!!

I am very happy with Paul Davis Restoration, but I must say Justin and Brent were fantastic. They were so nice. My day was absolutely horrible. I had a tree come in the side of my house and they came in the next day and boarded up the hole for me so far I couldn’t be more satisfied with the service they made the day so much better they were polite respectable they cleaned up after themselves they even made me laugh, which I totally needed because I’m having a terrible day. I will totally use Paul Davis for my future restoration needs and I hope Justin and Brent come back out because they did such a good job! Thank you so much for your help.

The Mitigation Team of Brent, Justin, Guy, and Scott did a superb job of mitigating the water damage in my home resulting from an HVAC leak. They removed damaged Hardwoods, baseboard mouldings, and carpet in my hall and guest bedroom, and installed plastic and drying blowers throughout the area. They returned to measure moisture levels each day, and did not remove the dryers until they were satisfied with the humidity levels.
Each of these Paul Davis representatives was polite, professional, and personable. They obviously take pride in their work and are excellent communicators, also, explaining each step of their process.
They also made extensive visual records and ensured the damage had not spread to other rooms.
I truly thank Brent, Justin, Guy, and Scott for their superior performance.

My husband and I had a painter painting the outside of our home when he discovered that our chimney had wood rot and was moving away from the house. Our insurance company contacted Paul Davis Restoration for us as we had no experience with where to begin. From the start, everyone we met were TOP NOTCH and very professional. Nick was our Project manager and Anthony was the estimator on the project. Our main contact was Nick and he was wonderful to work with. He explained each step of the process to us. He was also quick to return calls and texts as well as address any concerns (which were few). Nick brought Naza and his crew on board to do the actual demolition and rebuild of our chimney from top to bottom. Lots of pictures were taken so we could see what was being done. Nick used the best materials and was able to match our 30 year old siding beautifully as well as the shingles on our roof that had to be replaced. Nick and Naza cleaned up our yard and when the job was finished it was as if nothing had been done it was so clean. We are very pleased with our new chimney and feel blessed to have worked with the professionals at Paul Davis Restoration. If you need restoration work done, do not hesitate to use this company!

We work with the Columbia office as a vendor and they have been an amazing partner. Shawn and Chris are easy to work with and have made our part of their projects so seamless. Paul Davis, in general, is a great organization and we love the partnership we are developing with everyone in this firm!

These guys Justin,Guy & Brent from PaulDavis Restoration was amazing. I was on panic mode when I woke up to see water coming from my ceiling, down the walls in my living room then to see a puddle of water and water dripping in my dining room. I called my insurance company Progressive and they had these guys come right out. There timing was great. They were able to find the cause and stop the water from coming in. There's much more to do but they did an excellent job dried up the attic, got the moisture dried downstairs. They were friendly, respectful of my home also put me at ease as I deal with all this. I really appreciate their service. Now for the next part.

They (Justin, Guy, and Brent) came out the next day and searched the attic! Then set up fans and measured water damage areas!!! They were very thorough and courteous. They answered all my questions and relayed that the roofing person would be out Saturday to tent the roof and check where the water was getting in!! Roofer couldn’t come out as it rained Saturday and Sunday!!! They came back Monday morning removed the fans and let me know the construction group would be contacting me!! Great job!!

We had Paul Davis come out and dry out and clean up our living room ceiling and the upstairs crawlspace. Brent, Justin, and Guy came in and did a great job and were very personable. They explained what they were doing and tarped over the hole we had in the ceiling. If that was the end of it I would give them 5* because those guys were Great!

However, I had to mark the company down because of a lack of communication and it has been a hassle to get them to tarp our roof. Hopefully things get worked out soon and I will have no problem giving the company a higher review

As promised, I am back to update my review now that the job is done! Paul Davis and their team is TOP NOTCH!!! All repairs have been completed in excellence! The time frame was reasonable, and I am very satisfied with the job! I highly recommend Paul Davis!!!

I’m absolutely love this team (Justin, Brent and Guy) because they always on time, consistent and know what they are doing. When they get on the job they don’t stop until they figure it out. This is the second time around and they always come through. The receptionist is totally awesome as well. Her customer service skills is outstanding. This company is totally awesome and I’m glad they are working with me.

Brent, justin, and scotts crew came in on a saturday morning after a big storm and got everything set up to make sure our leak was dried up for the roofing company to come in. Great guys and hard workers!

Paul Davis Restoration handled an insurance claim from a leak under my kitchen sink. Basically my entire kitchen had to undergo mold remediation and total reconstruction.

Justin, Brett and Guy and many others handled the mold remediation and did a fantastic job. !

I continued with Paul Davis for the reconstruction portion of my kitchen and Nick the overall project manager and Dario the construction manager did a great job in rebuilding my kitchen.

There was a lot of hand holding involved because I’d never had to go through a process like this before but I was so grateful to all the people at Paul Davis starting with Justin who was my main contact for remediation and Nick for the construction phase.

I highly recommend them!

Paul Davis handled a mold removal and restoration project for us and did a wonderful job . The work was completed promptly and professionally. The staff was a pleasure to work with.

Paul Davis came to the rescue after another restoration company decided to abandon the job. PD was professional, their subcontractors were on time, treated us like family, and performed well. The workmanship was excellent. Oh, Paul Davis didn't hound us and threaten to take a lien out on our home during the negotiations with our insurance company; we actually felt like the clients! It was truly a pleasure working with them.

The Paul Davis in Lexington, SC is a complete scam! They use cheap contract services and cut corners with supplies and materials. Collecting profit from both sides, customer and insurance, in an back-handed way. My advice, choose another repair estimator service, or you will be paying more than you should.

I am very pleased with the prompt response and service I received from Paul Davis Restoration. Within an hour of my call to my Homeowners insurance I had a call from a representative of Paul Davis Restoration, three hours after that I had technicians (Justin and Ned) in my home starting the mitigation service. Thank you.

Just today we finished a multi-year, non-voluntary, insurance covered house renovation for water damage caused by an attic HVAC leak. Paul Davis(PD) did ALL of the repair portion for my renovation.

There were several issues I encountered along the way due to certain PD employees. Due to these issues I left a low previous review on a different platform. Ultimately PD fired these individuals and the crew that replaced them has been Top Notch. The Bill and Nick team were AMAZING!

I have stated several times that if I’d had Nick working my house from the beginning things would have been PERFECT! He even went back and fixed soo many of issues left by the previous crew.

I unfairly stated that I would not recommend PD to a friend (I stand by that with the initial crew). However, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the team that Paul Davis has working for them now and give thanks to them for seeing an issue and taking appropriate steps to fix it. Props to Lucia for the handling of my previous review!

PD completed the following:

Full kitchen remodel and it looks amazing! New cabinets, new Flooring, I went with a custom counter top but they installed all the appliances. Everything from pull out shelves and soft close drawers. Nick nailed all of it.

Full bathroom remodel. New flooring, new tub, new vanity, new sheet rock. Again, it looks amazing!

New flooring throughout 90% of the house. All looks perfect! I went with a Rigid Vinyl Plank flooring and it is exactly what I hoped for.

Ceiling install in 90% of the house. I decided against popcorn ceilings for ease of cleaning and definitely should have gone with a higher level of ceiling finish (I didn’t even know that was a thing).

New walls in 90% of the house. All well done and painted quickly. Paint crew was amazing as well.

New attic access, new light fixtures, new fans, new appliances. Everything good to go.

All things considered I WOULD HIGHLY recommend Paul Davis to a friend and am glad that Nick, Bill, and Lucia were able to finish this years long saga.

Words can't express how much it meant to us for you to take the time to come by and then for your crew to show up so quickly to board up our home. You allowed us to sleep a little easier because we knew the house was secure. Thank you all so much.

Remodeled bathroom to include a vanity. Nick was very skilled with carpentry, electric, and tile work. Recommend this company enthusiastically.

USE ANYONE ELSE! If I could leave 0 stars, I would. We have been very unsatisfied with the way Paul Davis restoration handled our repairs. This is an email that I sent to the project manager in mid-July 2022 and as of the writing of this post have not received a response or acknowledgement. We have also been calling them repeatedly to no avail. Just a little over 3 weeks ago, they completed the ceiling, but still have not received any update regarding the furniture that their subcontractors messed up. We have the money ready to pay, but the company has not been responsive to our requests.

"I just wanted to give you a heads up that I am writing a very unsatisfactory review for Paul Davis restoration. We have been very unsatisfied with the service that we received during the restoration process of the water damage in our home. The event happened on 3/13/22 and it took 3 months to restore something that could have taken a few weeks tops. Not to mention it took almost 2 months just to get an estimate together!

My family was inconvenienced by this whole process. The children were forced to use a bathroom on another floor when your company could have at least restored the bathroom so that we can utilize it, instead of waiting over 6 weeks to do so. The contractor used to lay down the wood floor didn't know what he was doing. I had to tell him to redo the floors because they should be staggered when laying them (I can tell he wasn't experienced in that regard). The ceiling was poorly done, instead of a smooth transition from the new to the old ceiling, you can see bumps along the way, where you can tell that it was repaired. I'm not talking about the color, but the lumps in the ceiling show that one part was definitely new and didn't come with the home. The carpet people put rips on our furniture when moving (the furniture was purchased in late 2020).

I am a project manager and I understand the process and identifying all the tasks and the dependencies between tasks to get a job completed to develop the plan to get the customer what they have asked for. I must say, that this project was poorly managed.

Also, what is upsetting, is that your company is sure quick to ask for the money owed when you have left a very unsatisfied customer.

I want to know, what will Paul Davis do to make this right for me and my family? We are giving you an opportunity to rectify this before we add another bad review on all platforms. To be honest, we should've read the reviews about your company first before hiring you to do the restoration.

I had a great experience with this company. I had a flood in my house and they came out to clean up the mess that was made. The company was quick to respond and professional in the work they did. They made a bad situation a little better. Everyone I dealt with was Courteous and professional. Thank you for the help!!

Tenant had small kitchen stove fire. In my absence, Roger's Property Management had Paul Davis Restoration clean up, repair and restore cabinets,above stove fan-vent,ceiling,cabinets & kitchen walls were painted white (on my request). Several photos were sent to show me work was completed (within a few months). RPM handled it all for me so check with them for more info, if needed.I'm satisfied.

My sisters and I were in the process of selling our elderly parents home and we ran into all kinds of little issues through some water damage that occurred while they were abroad. Our Insurance Company requested estimates and Paul Davis of Columbia provided the quote that was to be used. We had a sense of urgency and they were able to fit us into their busy schedule so we could proceed with the closing on the date needed.

This is a day late and a dollar short but my experience with this company is pretty poor. I had a small deck fire in 2017 and hired them to handle repair. Everything from dragging there feet to finish to poor quality. My sliding door they put in was garbage from the get go, they didnt put back a down spout on , poor quality the roofing. My neighbors call and complained to me about the behavior.

I had a real problem with lots of water damage. They got here fast and just took over. Vince was very responsive and always called me back quickly. Thanks Paul Davis and thanks to Nationwide Insurance for taking care of my new kitchen floor.

DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE WE DID!!!!
We came home from a vacation to find our ice maker leaking. Resulting damage required our hardwood floors be replaced and we used Paul Davis as a recommendation from our insurance company. The invoice had false charges for storage units but our furniture that was moved to our garage for storage. The charges were never removed, the project managers (multiple) involved all had reasons the project was dragging on after the the floors were refinished twice due to the PM not using the correct poly coat. Invoice included charges for labor and services that were not performed, when the owner finally got involved after my insistance and looking for some customer service, it didn't get any better. HVAC issues due to poor subs used, no accountability to help correct the issues and poor communication.

So after a 2-3 week project that was still ongoing for a year with Paul Davis as the general contractor and still wasn't right, I received a notice for a contractors lien. Spoke with the owner multiple times regarding the false charges and provided my figures for what was owed. He never had a response for me on the final amount for me to pay, which I offered to due immediately and finally collected the inflated lien amount as we sold our home due to a job move. Owner stated that all the extra charges were in lieu of interest and fees!! Evidently it's ok to invoice for false charges but to hear Bill actually try to justify the inflated invoice that was never corrected from day one, pathetic. Although it is right in line with entire experience we had from day one. My advice, find a trust worthy company and one that has integrity and knows how to treat a customer.

I wonder if the owner will have the guts to respond to this review. If he does, I doubt he will take any responsibility for any of the issues or issue me any refund for the extra charges.

My Insurance Company recommended Paul Davis Restoration, and I found working with these folks to be as stress-free as anything of this nature could possibly be. The Technicians, Project manager, and Administrative Personnel walked me through all processes necessary to address the damage, showed me the results, and were a joy to work with.

Paul Davis responded very quickly and mitigated our water damage - efficiently and respectfully. I would highly recommend this company.

They came and set up things to dry my wall.Always came to check on the progress of the drying. Will use them again if need be.

The guy's came out within a couple of hours, set out their equipment, & got to work, right away. One of the guys, Been, was very personable, explained the process, & made sure we understood everything. He really put us at ease.

I recently inquired about getting a quote to renovate a house I was looking to buy and resell. Paul Davis Restoration sent out a project manager (Reed) to look at the house, do measurements, and get all the necessary information he needed to prepare a quote. I was told by Reed that he had another quote to finish but would get mine to me the first of the week. This did not happen, so I called and left a couple messages with no response. I finally heard back a week later and Reed apologized about not getting back sooner...he told me they had to take care of a roof (or something) that was blown off in a storm since they were contracted to handle emergency situations...no problem, I said. He then assured me I would have the quote in a day or so. That never happened, so I followed up again the following week and I was told by a office manager that Reed was out sick a few days but was back to work and that she would have him call me...no problem. Unfortunately that never happened either, so I tried again and finally got in touch by text to see what the hold up was and he finally called me back. Reed then told me he had someone get into his computer and delete all of his files and would now have to start over, but could have it to me the following week...I said no problem, just text me or call me when you plan on sending it over. And of course that never happened...so after waiting another week and getting frustrated with the situation, I called and tried to get in touch with a manager (Bill) to see what was going on...he never called me back after leaving a message, so I tried again a few days later and got his cell phone from the receptionist. I was able to get in touch with Bill and he promised to look into it and get back with me. Yes, you guessed it, that never happened and even after one last text today I have yet to hear back from anyone! That being said, I typically NEVER write reviews, but I thought if this review saves someone the time and headache I had, that I should share my experience. Bottom line - this company does not keep their word or do what they say they will do and I would not recommend them...because if they can't get a quote to you in a reasonable amount of time, you know they won't get your house done either...so don't do what I did and keep waiting on Paul Davis Restoration to keep their word...look elsewhere!

We returned home after a trip to find a toilet had leaked and caused extensive damage to our floors. Since we weren't sure who to call, our insurance company suggested Paul Davis of Greater Columbia. Paul Davis did an excellent job. We found them to be responsive and competent. We were so pleased, we hired them to do additional work after the repairs were completed. If you need restoration or remodeling work, this company is a good one to use.
