HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Beautiful new ROOF with warranty! Patriot Exterior was referred to us by multiple incredibly happy past customers in Virginia Beach. Our home is a Dutch Colonial with dormers - not a simple roofing task. The owner Omar made it very easy on us with a fair and detailed estimate and patience while we waited on our home equity loan. We were extremely impressed with his prompt and thorough responsiveness (even later in evening and on weekends) to all questions (and there were quite a few) throughout the entire process. The work ethic of his crew (they were nonstop from early AM until dark each and every day) and the quality of work also were impeccable. They went above and beyond for us. Patriot Exterior Solutions did an excellent job with everything. I chose Patriot based on reviews/testimonies, pictures of performed work and because it’s a veteran owned business. My quote request resulted in a very detailed proposal that allowed me to do lookups should I feel the need to; no generic labels. Pricing was beyond reasonable. In fact, my quote was only $800 more than one I had received in 2021 from another company and at least 30 percent cheaper than two other companies that had quoted me a week prior. Job was scheduled to be done 2 weeks from the date of job acceptance; weather dependent. House is 3800 sqft with a detached garage; crew completed the work in a little over 2 days (heat index at least 100 degrees). I was very pleased the care taken during setup to ensure no damage was done to the house and even covered my bushes and flower beds when necessary. Mild cleanup done at the end of each day with thorough cleaning on the last day. I would not hesitate to recommend Patriot Exterior Solutions to family, friends or co-workers…deal in confidence!!!

When I bought a home and moved to VAB a few years ago I knew I was going to need to replace the roof (and gutters) in the near future (was told during inspection). After experiencing the powerful storms (and tornado) last past summer I decided it was time to move forward; however with some reservation knowing the significant investment required. I wanted to ensure I was going to receive the highest quality install while also maintaining some control of the spend. I reached out to four exterior contractors for quotes - the fourth being Patriot. Patriot was heavily recommended to me by two of my close neighbors, both of whom had Patriot install their roof/gutters over five years ago (Note: I also reviewed all of their very positive reviews online). After meeting with Omar I was so impressed and confident in his company's capabilities and transparency/integrity that I wanted to go with them. His vast knowledge and experience was inarguably apparent as he guided a few structural changes to help with our attic air flow. Once I received their extremely fair quote for the work it sealed the deal and we haven't looked back since. His crews did an amazing job on both the roof and the gutters/downspouts and it has transformed our home... plus ensured we were prepared for the upcoming storm season with the high quality products. Patriot Exterior Solutions roofed the new addition to our house which entailed new construction, reroofing an existing structure, and tying-in new roofing with an existing roof. Immediate impressions were fantastic…Easy scheduling, top-grade products, timely and efficient installation, thorough site clean-up, and the roof looks amazing. Finishing lines for ridges and valleys are straight. Roof edge lines are uniform. Flashing was custom-made onsite and fits perfectly. And, after several storms, with wind from varying directions, the new roof proves to be watertight! We are going to hire Patriot Exterior Solutions to install gutters next, and confidently place our trust in the quality of their work. Also, our roofing project was barely 1,000 square feet. Through getting multiple estimates, most companies treated us as if our project was insignificant to them, but Omar treated us like we mattered. And this carried on throughout. Case in point, other trades when hired subcontracted the work and the results were poor. But Omar was onsite with his team and had a very good foreman to carry-on when he was not. We could not have been more pleased.

The company was able to squeeze me in on short notice between two bouts of storms. The material they used for the roof looks great, they finished right on time. The area around my house is completely clean. During the planning phase, Omar came to my house to discuss the quality of the work to be performed. I had to get a quote and a new roof on my house pronto when Nationwide no longer would insure people in my area. Omar was very responsive when I called. He came to the house and within a day gave me a quote . He also scheduled the work so I would meet the demands of the new insurance company. He even went the extra mile coordinating with the insurance company the information they needed for the roof before and after the job so I could be insured. His team was amazing. My roof had some unexpected issues and they worked through them like real champs. The crew made sure at the end of each work day, things were tidy and clean enough for my dogs to go outside. Patriot Exterior Solutions, was a dream come true when it came to the bidding and the workmanship. They did not spend two hours trying to convince me how great they were. They came over and had the measurements of the roof already done, looked around and sent somebody over to walk the roof. I had four bids for the job. Omar was fantastic with the whole process. Two neighbors used him and we didn’t even get another quote. Installers were professional and took pictures to show wood rot that had to be replaced. I’ve only found three nails … cleanup was excellent. His crew knows what they are doing!!! Highly recommend this company for your roofing needs.

Do not trust Omar. Will make promises to come out and fix in warranty repair but never show and then stop answering his phone/messages. Just listened to him hang up on my mother 4 times. Do not use Omar. He does not fulfill his warranties. Terrible service. Find an alternative.

If I could give negative stars I would. Have been trying to get someone to come out to repair a roof they installed for previous owner of my house for about a year! Called twice a week for nine months, no callback. Stopped calling out of frustration, now i really need repair started calling again. Warranty means nothing to them. I will have to start over with a different company. No wonder these people don’t belong to the Better Business Bureau; they would have to honor warranties!

Very responsive and professional in the beginning when putting the roof on. Have actually referred several people to them who have gotten their roofs done by their company. Unfortunately, when we had questions soon after the work was complete, and then a couple of years later when we noticed a leak, we never received a return call on either occasion. Even after repeated requests for a return call. I understand if there wasn't a formal warranty, but a call back to at least be willing to have someone come take a look to see what the issue is would have been nice from a customer service perspective. It wasn't a cheap roof. Seems like as soon as the check clears, don't plan on getting a hold of them again. It's a shame.

I have been trying to get this company to call me back concerning a roof repair for over a month now to no avail. I call weekly and sometimes more then once a week. Omar's call center marks the messages as URGENT and yet I receive no call. I bought my house in July and we have a roof leak. The roof was installed in 2018 and is still under warranty. My husband has been in the attic and has seen exactly where the leak is. I would like this company to HONOR its warranty and call me back and schedule to come fix the leak. DO NOT use this company, from what I have seen they are very wonderful when installing the roof but then seem to disappear when there is a need for them to honor the warranty.

After weeks of research my wife and I chose Patriot Exterior Solutions for our new roof, based on price, warranties, and our experience with Omar (the owner). Was told the crew would start early and they knocked on the door at 7am asking for permission to get started. With in 15 mins they had crew on top of the house removing the old roof, while the rest of the crew set up the yard. They were at my house for almost 12 hours, got the job done in one day. I think what impressed me the most were these two things: 1- they did not leave until I walked around with them and made sure I was happy. 2- Their clean up was fantastic. When I had my roof replaced at my old house by another company, for several days after the job was done I found 100's of nails in the yard, flower beds, etc. With Patriot, I have maybe found 10 nails since they did the job in the middle of April. Also super impressed with the workmanship, professionalism of the entire crew, and just the over all experience. Soon as we have some painting done, Patriot is going to replace my gutters.

The Patriot crew did a great job with a new roof installation on our house. 50 year warranty, beautiful GAF architectural shingles. Finished in 2 days, the crew protected our gardens with tarps during installation and did a perfect cleanup afterwards. The cost was very fair, especially considering the cost of building materials today! Highly recommend!

Showed up late for an estimate on a Friday, said he would have an estimate the next day. Four days later and no responses to emails, texts or phone calls, and still no estimate. I can only imagine how difficult it would be track him down if I decided to use him. Glad that won't be an issue now.

Right up front I received a fantastic quote from Omar, I previously got a quote from another company that wanted $26K!!!! Omar provided me the EXACT same materials and labor for a significantly lower price!!! Omar's team led by Rigo were awesome!! They showed up on time, and got right to work on my roof. We called Patriot Exterior Solutions based on the referrals of several of our neighbors and I’m glad that we did. Omar and his team did an exemplary job on our home! Our new roof is beautiful and they did a great job of cleaning up after the work was done. Great job!

I received an estimate from them approximately three months ago for them to wrap my house. Expectation was to have the work completed in a couple weeks. I've reached out to the owner (Omar) on more than ten different occasions to see when they were going to complete the work. He has not returned any of my calls.

I had cash in hand and they ghosted me on my window order.

I accepted a quote from Patriot Exterior, they sent a guy out to measure all my windows and place the order for them, and I didn't hear from them again. The time when supposedly the windows were going to arrive came and went, I waited another week + past that date before I even attempted to contact them, have left them multiple messages over the last few weeks.

I don't understand what happened, as the order was supposedly already in place. I am very disappointed in how this all worked out, given their otherwise good reviews.

Now I get on here to leave a review, and I see someone else has posted in the last few weeks that they got ghosted as well, so I guess I'm not the only one.

If we could give 0 stars we would. We accepted a proposal from this company weeks ago. We even had the financing set up. As of today, no one has even contacted us. We've sent text messages to the owner with no response! Even called the office & spoke with a receptionist who said she would have the owner call us..but no call! They must not need the business. This is very upsetting. We will be taking our business elsewhere!

Such a great company. The owner and employees are super nice. My roof was replaced quickly and looks great. I highly recommend them.

Quality is like buying oats. If you want nice clean oats, you must pay a fair price. If you can be satisified with oats that have already been through a horse, well, that comes a bit cheaper.
If you don't want to worry about leaks for the next thirty years, it's well worth the costs.

Patriot handled warranty paperwork. Roofers used fall protection at all times. Patriot was responsive to texts, email and phone calls (in that order). We were comfortable the entire process. We recommend them to anyone considering a new roof, or other improvements.

I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to work with this company. Many years ago I worked for a roofing company, but they didn't even come close to the professionalism and honesty you receive from Omar and his workers. We choose Patriot Exterior Solutions to replace our roof following damage from a recent nor’easter. Pablo came out to inspect the damage and give an estimate very soon after we called the company. Pablo explained everything that was needed, left us with a brochure about the products being used and worked with our insurance company during the entire process. Pablo answered all questions we had in a very polite and professional manor and corresponded with us from the beginning of the project until completion.
When work began, the crew of five men arrived and worked tirelessly and professionally. We were able to be home most of the time and go out to observe the work being performed and observe the attention to detail used while installing the new roof.

Needed some shingles and metal trip replaced after damage from a strong nor'easter rolled through VB the other week. Tried to get some local recommended handyman to come do the work, but no call back. Looked up roofing company's thinking they would likely be too busy to do what would really be a small job. Patriot Exterior Solutions had a great reviews, so gave them a call. Omar quickly got back to me, had Pablo come out and give me a bid, and as soon as the weather finally cleared up enough, had a team on-site and completed the repairs. I can't even tell where the damage previously was now. Great communication, very friendly to work with, fair pricing, and great quality workmanship! Just had a new roof installed a couple weeks ago and it looks awesome. Quote was reasonable and on par with another long established top rated company in the area.

Had a roof leak in the front of our house around the Bay Window area roof. Had several other companies come out and give quotes but most seemed half interested to do the work or wanted to charge outrageous prices just to rip up my roof and just look for the leak. Omar came out and took a look at it and was very professional and seemed extremely knowledgeable in his assessment of the situation. Received a quote back within 24 hours and his crew showed up a couple days later to start the job. I showed up after the work crew had already started and they immediately let me know what was going on and assured me that any mess they made would be cleaned up before they left.. They figured out where the leak was coming from right away and told me their plan to fix it. I also had a piece of trim that had came loose and asked if they could tack it back down for me and they said they would take care of it before they left. Came home after work and I have to say they did an outstanding job putting a new roof on my Bay Window and fixing the lose piece of siding.
