Patio Covers of Idaho

So happy with Trex deck, patio cover and black powder coated railing for front of our home. Cody was great in making design recommendations. Price was reasonable and glad they were able to do deck and patio cover. Jerry, Ryan and a few others were experts in their installation. I would highly recommend. I did want permit Cody arranged for this which took a little longer but well worth it - project finished in little over a week.

They were quick to respond for a bid and secure the job but took forever to get in installed. The super strong covered patio that we paid extra for and that they guaranteed and installed and recommended after looking at our roof line (they are the experts right?!?) constantly leaked and finally collapsed. When I called them, the one guy came out and looked at it and told us it should not have collapsed because it was their super quality product. He sent the owner out to look at it and the owner totally blamed us for the collapse and told us they could replace it but we would have to pay for it! Again! Would not recommend them!!!

Patio is amazing! Except it still leaks, has never been sealed properly. We have called numerous times (5-10) over the last 6-8 months regarding this issue. Our patio was put up in January 2022 and here it is December 2022. I would not recommend this company, only due to not finishing the work. Our patio cover is beautiful, just wish/expect more follow through than given.

Could only be happier if it was less expensive. However they were comparable to the places we got bids from. So that's just being frugal. The patio cover is beautiful. Made such an impact on the looks and feel of my back yard. They gave a timeline and stuck to it at the price quoted. Will use them again if i need more covers made.

The short video on their Facebook page is the 2-story deck they built onto our house. It took a little longer than expected to complete (weather, supply chain problems, and CoVid), but the final project was worth the wait! It is "stunning" and we've already spent more time on-decks than in the previous ten years combined. Besides adding looks and value to our home, the functionality of keeping rain water off the lower deck and shading to the upper deck makes either a wonderful place to relax almost anytime. Also, one week after completion, sustained gale-force winds (70-89 mph) hit our city for about 4 hours. Nothing blew off, bent, loosened, rattled, etc.; so the product has already shown great durability and the build, great workmanship. Cody, Jerry, Teagan, and Chris were also pleasant to work with throughout the project. I would highly recommend the folks and the product!!

My patio leaks in numerous places, and they've never been able to fix it. They no longer even answer my calls. Very difficult to work with.

*edited in 2023 to add that my roof has been damaged by Patio Covers of Idaho. When they installed it, they lifted the edges of the shingles, so water now seeps under it. It will take $1,450 to repair the damage (see pics). I also paid $636 for the electrical tunnels, which Patio Covers of Idaho told me needed to be installed before the electrical work was done.

Two electrician later told me the electric had to be done before hand. So I paid for tunnels that I will never be able to use.

Do not do business with these people.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I paid a $15k deposit in August for services to be completed in October. I have yet to receive those services. I asked for an update and they stated it would take another 7 weeks before they begin (Christmas). I requested a refund of my deposit because this timeline no longer worked for me and there is no way they will be able to successfully complete the work during that time of year. The owner Cody Adamson told me they didn't have my money anymore and that i could not get a refund. Do not do business with these people. any business that spends your deposit before they even schedule your work, is crooked and should be in jail.
