We recently just moved into a home built by Parry. Parry provided excellent customer service and often went above and beyond to resolve any of our concerns. Everyone on the team is friendly and knowledgeable. I have lived in other new builds and the quality of product Parry used is far above others!

Parry did a great job building our home. They were 100% the right choice and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a builder.

My husband and I started the process of designing out home in March 2023. They were so patient and helpful throughout the process of preparing for construction. Ashley Walos and Staci Taylor went above and beyond helping us to design our home. Ashley was able to help us make the perfect floor plan, while Staci got the specific stain from the cabinet maker to be able to match our mantel and stairs! Throughout the build, Parry was timely and communicative of what was going on! We beat our expected move in date by two months and got us in just in time to host our Thanksgiving for family! Jon was great preconstruction, and Jaecey was an awesome project manager who was able to make our dreams come true! We recommend Parry to any of our friends and family!

We recently completed a new home build with Parry Custom Homes. Couldn’t be more pleased with our beautiful new home! It is exactly what we dreamed of and completed ahead of schedule in spite of the time delays from utility companies. The only good thing that happened during Covid19 was our experience with Parry Custom Homes. Seemless, professional, and by far best quality product used to create our amazing home! We feel like part of the Parry family! My husband has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years, we sat down with multiple builders and picked them because of the high quality materials and structural design but we will build again with Parry because they earned our trust by following through with everything they promised!

When my husband and I decided that we finally wanted to build our dream home on my family farm, we interviewed several builders. We contacted 7 and interviewed with 5. The overall process was the best with Parry- we had drawn up our own floor plan and they helped us perfect it. Their pricing was exactly what we were hoping and they were able to get our home built in 2021 when things were tough. Despite supply delays, they still managed to complete our home in 9 months. One year after moving in, they came back out to make sure that any imperfections were corrected. They are always quick to respond to questions and have made our dream come true. We cannot say enough good things about Parry- from customer service to quality, it's all top notch. Who knew building a home could be so stress free?

After much research, I selected Parry Custom Homes as my builder. From the design stage to closing, my experience with the Parry team was excellent. Communication was non-stop. Any questions and concerns were answered in a timely manner. Telephone calls, emails and text messages were handled quickly. There was always assistance through every stage of the build.
I closed on my home in December, 2022 and couldn't be happier.

Wow. I just got off the phone with Parry CUSTOM homes. I'm not really sure how they can call themselves "custom" when they won't even consider changing or learning to use radiant floor heating. By definition, a custom home is built to the homeowners specifications, but instead of being willing to listen or learn, they only kept saying they won't change their process or materials. I wasn't asking them to change materials, only add to it. I wasn't asking them to change any process, but again to add to it. It's not like I'm asking them to build the roof before putting the walls up. They really should rethink their name if they aren't going to work with the homeowner. The lady on the phone literally said "I don't know how I can make this any more clear..." You can make it clear you don't build custom homes and are unwilling to look into something as simple as radiant heat that has been used for centuries.

They built a home in our neighborhood. It's taken them over 2 years to compete it. The roof was left partially shingles for months. The 2 access has been nothing but mud the whole time. Trucks track mud down a main thoroughfare through our community.
The build site has become a true eyesore for all that past. I hope, for the homeowner, this is an exception to their builds.

Parry was wonderful to work with all the way through the process of building our truly custom home! From the start of the process, Parry accommodated every design request we had and made our home custom to our needs and taste. Daniele was wonderful to work with through the design process and was able to answer every question we had, even advising on things out of scope for a builder to make sure we were fully prepared in each step of the process. Staci and Jon made the detailed selections and design finalization processes smooth and fast to get our build started as soon as possible. Brian, Katie, and JC answered every question we had during the build process and solved every problem. They kept us up to date on progress and milestones and advised on everything we needed to do to ensure the build was not delayed even amidst COVID supply and labor shortages. If we ever hit a bump on the road, Parry was always willing and able to make it right! I would recommend building with them to anyone I know! We are in our brand new house and enjoying the excellent product delivered by the Parry team!

I read good things about Parry homes but their customer service is just not good. Daniele was 10 minutes late to the meeting. I am ok with that, just call, text, or email so we aren't just sitting there waiting. When I informed her that I didn't have a camera (laptop is connected to a dock behind my monitor), she told me that she couldn't do the meeting without seeing our face. I asked and why and she said it's not a conversation. My wife and I took off work to be able to meet and she wasted our time.

The sales person there about 2 years ago was great.

I realize things went up in cost but there home price went up 100k across the board.
In winter 2018 cost them 220 to build a new home then in February 2021 it was 320.
I believe someplace when you search for them it says new homes start at 220.

Hey sometimes you just need to make a profit. Good bless them.

We just finished up building our custom home with Parry. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The entire crew from start to finish was nothing but professional. They crew was very informative along the way and very detailed orientated when it came to the final product. After working with them, there is no doubt why they were ranked 2020’s best. Don’t waste your time with a Ryan or Shuster home. If you want quality, call Parry.

On a side note, don’t listen to the negative reviews listed on here. We worked with all of the same individuals and had no issues. Some people are impossible to please.

Working with Parry was awesome! Designing a home from scratch is a long process, and the pandemic didn't make things any easier. Parry bent over backwards for us during the designing process to make sure we were satisfied with the design. The construction process was a breeze. I've never seen a contractor that pays such close attention to detail. We could not be happier with our house!

Parry custom homes are absolutely a joy to work with, from the very start until the end it has been a very rewarding experience. I honestly tell future home builders that our experience with Parry Homes have been top notch, from Ashley to Rob, Paul,Justin, Daniel and everyone we came in contact with from the team were professional, friendly and simply the best. Based on the reviews, it sounds and looks like Parry Homes does beautiful work, but I think their customer service skills need improvement. During our consultation, Daniele accused me of being "aggressive"; I explained that my intention was not to be aggressive, but to share with her the bad scheduling experience I had with them, and suggested they use that to improve the process for potential customers moving forward. Overall, we found her to be condescending and unprofessional (looked down at her phone while talking to us). Just apologize for the confusion instead of accusing a frustrated customer of being “aggressive”. She did compose herself at the end of the meeting, thanking us for the feedback and wishing us well.

From the very first meeting with Ashley, to the closing today with Kyle and Paul, our entire experience was perfect. The whole team was helpful and supportive and gave us the home of our dreams. The quality of our home is unmatched by any competitor. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

We have been in our home almost a year now and have been overjoyed with it. From the 1st moment we sat down until the day we closed we have had nothing but a fantastic experience with the full staff. Things we would have never thought about or dreamed we could have, they made happen. Professional inside and out and I would recommend ANYONE to build with this amazing family.

Really, really great experience. Parry was wonderful to work with from day one to a full year after we moved in. Prior to choosing Parry, we interviewed with all of the custom home builders in the area. We just couldn't pass up what you get with Parry. Not only the amenities inside the home that come included, but also the treatment you receive from staff. We felt like they truly wanted to help and guide us through the process, not just get the sale. We completed and moved into our Parry home mid April 2018 and are really happy with it.

The showroom is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Just an all around great place to go to get your dream home built!

My husband and I selected Parry Custom Homes to build our forever home, and we are overjoyed by the end product. The staff was very accommodating to our needs and wants. After the initial meeting, we began designing our home based off of a previous model they had built. From there, we customized the layout to meet our vision. While most of the work was done by Parry’s preferred vendors, we appreciate their flexibility in allowing us to incorporate some of our own unique elements, making it a true custom home. This is something that we discovered not many other companies allow you to do. The company really cares about their customers, and that is displayed throughout the excellent customer service we received throughout the entire process (and it has continued since closing on our home). The quality of the product they delivered to us has far exceeded our expectations. The construction quality seems strong and is a step above the big box builders.

The only negative feedback we’d give is we were disappointed that we could not take our plans home to review further. We understand why that is their policy, but we are visual people and would like to have had a little more time to study the plans instead of the short period of time we got to see them at the planning meetings. Also, we feel our selections process was drawn out a little too much. This could have been because we had a lot of construction-related questions that needed to be passed on to others for answers, but we feel it could have been handled more efficiently. Despite these “complaints” we are overall pleased with our Parry experience.

My husband and I are excited to start our family and enjoy our next phase of life in our Parry home. If building a home is in your future plans, we highly recommend Parry Custom Homes.

The sales pitch was very misleading. Not a Custom home at all. We picked a mid grade package for my house The products that were included in that package were cheap, outdated and discontinued items. You were pushed into upgrading for everything. And if you wanted to upgrade you had to pay full price of the item for the upgrade. It was basically not an upgrade it was an addition to the cost. Most builders will give you our allowance for items. . When we started designing the kitchen they didn’t even know who would be installing the countertops. When we wanted to upgrade to granite countertops from laminate they told us it would be about $10,000 additional on top of what we already paid for the included laminate. After closing we got an estimate for The exact counter top for 2700 installed. After the contracts were signed and we started making decisions we were lied to a few times But I did not have anything in writing to prove it. Building a house is a learning experience. Make sure you get estimates and make sure you know what is included and the quality that is included. The only reason I am giving two stars is because a few of the guys including Paul, who was new at the time tried his best to make everything right.

Closed on our new home a few weeks ago, very happy with the finished product. Being a commercial carpenter I am very anal with my home or if ever letting some one else work on it. After loosing my old home to a drunk driver wrecking into it. I turned to parry homes to build a new one. It took some time but I learned to trust them building the house. The quality of the house is very good, I checked on it almost every day. The mechanical work was very nice and neat. They built my dream home and a very solid house. I am very happy with them and the house they built. Deffinetly recommend them to any one looking to build.

Hands down the best experience we could’ve asked for while building a house. The quality of the finished product has far exceeded our expectations! We would highly recommend Parry to anyone considering building a home. From the very beginning when we were designing our home to the final walk through, everyone at Parry did an amazing job. You can tell it is a “smaller” family owned business just by the way everyone treats you. Each and every step of the way, every person was so easy to work with!

We had a WONDERFUL experience with Parry Homes! When beginning the process we went to many different builders looking for the best price and the best quality. What stood out about Parry is that they made it all about us; what we wanted (custom home), what we could afford and what kind of service we could expect (Parry is like a Big Family). Unlike other builders who gave us only 5 options of houses to pick from Parry was able to customize a house for us that we could afford! We began the process with Tracy and Amy who are absolutely delightful. They both went above and beyond to make the beginning process a lot easier than it should have been. Whether it was filling out the paperwork for our Construction Permit or changing last minute items before construction (there were MANY). We than meet with Kolar (The Excavator)! Hands down Chris Kolar is one of the nicest people who will ever meet. We had the ‘JOY’ of going through the re-compacting of our land before we could build (Thanks PA Soil for being terrible) but Chris held our hand through it and everything turned out perfect. We than moved into the building process!!!!! A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO BEN… This poor guy had to put up with me the entire time and he did it with a smile. We had multiple change order, multiple experiences with the water/power company and gosh knows what else. I bet I sent him AT LEAST one text message a day for the last 6-8 months. Poor Ben deserves a raise for having to deal with me (I grew up in the South so I can get a bit crazy). Through the ups and downs Ben was there and helped us through the entire construction process (we have completed the house now and he is still helping me find a landscaper and cement crew)! HATS OFF TO BEN FOR DOING AN AWESOME JOB! Along the way as well, Justin Parry called many times to ask how everything was going and to make sure we were receiving the best service possible (which we were). We are now working with Paul for the next year on any house items we see that need to be fixed or any issues we have. So far, he has been great as well! Honestly, when building with Parry you are not building with a Business you are building with a FAMILY!

If all of the above is not enough, EVERYONE from Parry came out (about 10 people) on closing day and brought us two AWESOME house warming gifts, pizza and celebratory drinks! When looking for a home builder that is the kind of experience EVERYONE looks for and we are lucky enough to have found that with Parry Homes : )

I've known Justin for a very long time and I've seen first hand the work he's put into his business first hand but now I know first hand just the quality and standard he has built. I moved into my Parry Custom Home last weekend 2/23/18 and I am still in awe with it just gorgeous from top to bottom. It really is the small details that they take care of that the other builders do not. A huge thank you to the PCH team, especially Brian, Rex, Amy, Danielle, and Justin!!

Our interactions actually took place at the Washington branch in 2015, but this is the only branch listed on Google Maps.

Our experience started off good, talking to a new sales guy named Tom. He took our information and plans, then setup a meeting to sit down and talk to us. We took a few hours off work and went over our plans in detail, after which he said he’d get back to us with ballpark pricing within a week. A week later I checked in and he was still working. Same story a couple days later.

Early the next week I got a call from Danielle telling me Tom was let go. She said she was sorry, but did not seem conciliatory. She said their business was customer focused and shouldn’t be judged by Tom, but Tom was very good on the customer side. On the other hand Danielle refused to use our plans because we mentioned in an email that we based them on something we saw online. I understand copyright concerns, but how she handled the situation next was what really caused things to go downhill.

First she refused to give me any direct next step. This is her industry, she is the expert; it’s her job (in terms of customer service) to lead me down the path to reach my end goal. She suggested we pick a plan they have and customize it, but the whole reason we wanted a custom home was to get exactly what we wanted. She said we could meet and start with a blank sheet of paper, which I may have settled on if necessary, but after spending 100 hours designing and tweaking every little bit of our plans I really didn’t want to sit down for hours and walk someone else through drawing it all.

Her attitude was haughty and superior the entire time. She didn’t offer alternatives to help us meet our goal, instead waiting for us to suggest something. She said it would take them two weeks to get us a ballpark number (if she was sorry and wanted to mend fences after Tom why wouldn’t she be going above and beyond, or at least apologize for not). She said they could maybe build the house if we signed a form agreeing to pay all their legal fees if they were sued. When I agreed she said she couldn’t send that out until I setup an appointment for her.

I was livid at this point. I had already used a lot of vacation time to speak with Tom and meet with them and was at the point that I wasn’t getting paid for my time off anymore. When I pointed that our she haughtily told me that if we weren’t serious enough about taking the time to meet with them they couldn’t waste their time on us as customers. This is horrifying. Between doctor’s appointments (my partner hasn’t worked in years due to a car accident), vehicle maintenance, kid’s school activities, etc, I haven’t had enough vacation time to actually take a vacation in near a decade. It’s bad enough some industries refuse to have hours outside of when 90% of their customers are at work, but for a business to imply that even taking issue with that immorality means you’re “not serious” about trying to buy their product is sickening.

Parry Custom Homes says they are customer focused, but their actions are the opposite. They say they have great customer service, yet as a customer I felt insulted and with a stunning lack of support in reaching my goals. I’ve run three businesses over the last two decades, all successful, and have fired employees for smaller mistakes than Danielle made on this phone call. Either Parry has no real concern for customer service as long as they make their profit, or this is a great example of the dangers of nepotism. Either way it doesn’t spell a happy ending for your project
