Parmer and Sons Painting and Staining

This is the second time we have used Parker and Sons and we could not be more please. No project is ever as easy as you expect it to be but Phill and William handled everything with professionalism. The amount of knowledge these men have is what makes the work they do perfect.

Great all around experience with Parmer and Sons for exterior painting of our home. Starting with Mark who came out and gave a very detailed breakdown of the estimate we requested and provided valuable insight to our projects. The project started within a couple of weeks with Phil (project manager) and the work being completed by Carlos and William. Both workers were more than happy to help assist move a few larger objects and also made sure that we were happy with the work being done. Phil was also very communicative during the process and made sure to update us on a few changes that were needed as the project progressed.

Although our painting project was relatively small (caulking and painting our external wood trim and doors), Elder and his painting team did a great job of prepping, caulking and painting. Would definitely use them again!!

Ethan did a great job pressure washing our home, including our screened in deck. He was able to remove residue I was historically not able to with my pressure washer. Karl did a great job painting out shutters and around our front door. Phil, our project manager, did a great job communicating and making sure everything was completed as expected.

As always, we were delighted with the work of Parmer and Sons. They only send great people like Phil, the project manager, and Jeff, who did most of the work on the project. Both were highly competent and charming. We look forward to working with you next time.

Parmer & Sons always does a great job for us. Phil, Santiago, Miguel, and John did a great job pressure washing and updating our exterior paint. Their communication is great, they always clean up and leave everything looking nice, and the pricing is good. They also did some interior paint work for us a couple years ago that still looks fantastic. We will definitely use them again!

After over a year of planning a major cabin and garage repaint and reseal project, Parmer and Sons finally fit the bill for quality, expertise, and value I was looking for. From initial inspection and documentation to the actual job cleaning, prepping, and painting, they were extremely professional and experienced. They even repaired rotten boards and performed cosmetic repairs along the way at no extra cost. I couldn’t be happier and would recommend them to anyone looking for a seamless result with low personal effort and a fair price. Karl did a great job painting our exterior doors, very precise, neat and thorough. Philip insured that the job was completed to our satisfaction . We would definitely consider Parmer and Sons for future painting jobs.

Had our deck stained & front porch painted by Parmer & Sons. It was a fairly smooth process with our project manager Phil, after some rain delays we are very happy with the work of Carlos and Miriam, fast and well done!

We had two decks pressure washed, sanded and stained . The work was excellent , Karl did a great job , was friendly and dynamo worker . We also had good experience working with Mark Mullins who priced the job and Phil Thompson who was the project manager. We would certainly recommend them .

I highly recommend Parmer and Sons for painting and staining. They recently pressure washed and stained my 24’x 22’ back deck, including the two flights of steps and landing leading up to it, railings/palings, and support beams, and I’m very pleased with the finished product. It had been a number of years since some areas of the deck were stained, so I was concerned about getting adequate coverage, but it looks beautiful, and I know the wood is well-protected from intense sunlight and weather. Mark was right on time for the estimate and provided me with a hard copy before leaving my home. Freddie, Alfonso, and Laura performed the pressure wash and stain application with care and expertise. This was a big job, and they did an outstanding job of getting neat, thorough coverage on all surfaces. They even moved my deck furniture and replaced it after the stain dried. Project manager Paul stayed in close contact with me before, during, and after the job, to ensure that my expectations were exceeded. I recommend Parmer and Sons to anyone looking for a top quality painting result with excellent customer service along the way.

We had a complete interior repaint including door trim and baseboards, plus minor sheet rock repair. It went really fast and as smooth as silk. From first call to finish was one week.

We were so pleased with the work we called them back two weeks later to stain our decks.

We can't decide which job is better so we are calling it a tie for First.

Parker and Sons Painting did a wonderful job painting several rooms in my house. Phil the project manager was able to get the job started sooner than expected which worked with my schedule. He kept me informed and updated throughout the process.
The crew, John and Miguel, did a great job. The walls and ceilings look great, all the lines are sharpe and they added an extra coat on the trim while still finishing on time.
The overall experience was great and I will highly recommend them and use them on my next painting project.

Working with Parmer and Sons for our exterior painting project was easy and the work was done very well. We rarely use painters as we expect a high level of detail and capability and this team did especially well. May 2025: The Parmer team painted the exterior of our house recently and I was so impressed! I want to specifically mention Freddy, the crew foreman, who was so professionally attentive and cooperative. He assured a complete and thorough painting. In the same regard, his entire crew of painters (Daniel, Jesus, Franklin, and Virgilio) were so courteous and accommodating of every observation and comment we made. They did a very comprehensive painting that we are so proud of. Thanks to them and to the Project Managers Paul and Phil for their frequent and timely checks and oversight of a job very well done! Coordination and communication throughout was excellent and easy!

First time user of Parmer & Sons. This is exactly what we were hoping to find as far as quality, attention to detail, and helpful suggestions. It was obvious that Mike and Chad focused on doing the best job possible for the results that we paid for. Mike was great for pointing out issues and offered to fix them effectively and efficiently while they were here. These weren't manipulative up-sells - these were things that actually needed attention, such as wood rot at the bottoms of exterior door casings. He hogged out and filled or cut and spliced as needed and painted (3 places). The paint job on three doors (2 doubles, 1 single) was detailed and clean.

Chad did a great job on first-time staining of our new deck (built last fall) - his work also was detailed and clean. He's a quiet and hard worker.

They also did a good job on soft-washing the siding and power washing the sidewalk. Mike had us look at each part of the job after completion to be sure we were happy with it - that was appreciated.

The only complaint is somewhat confusing and impersonal followup office communications between signing the contract and scheduling the work. Also emails asking for downpayment and final payment were out of sync with both having already been paid in person. I'll chalk that up to new systems needing to be fine tuned for a better customer experience. I wouldn't be surprised if they are already aware of these annoyances and figuring out fixes.

Paul, our project manager along with Brittany were very good about keeping us informed of how our painting project was going. They sent pictures, texts, and emails. They were responsible for painting the outside (including the roof) of an old church and the roof of a house. Carlos and his son did a great job with power washing the house roof and church. Cary our carpenter was also very good about making sure we were happy with what he was working on. The paint crew did an amazing job as well. We were very pleased overall with everyone's professionalism and communication with us since we were not on site. We would definitely recommend them for any painting project you may have.

We hired Parmer & Sons to paint our screened porch and outbuilding and we couldn’t be happier. The shed looks like new and we are getting ready to enjoy our “new” porch with the spring weather. Mike, our painter, did a fantastic job! There were a few issues with the drywall and Mike pointed them out and fixed them himself before painting. He really cares about the customers (and their pets!) and wants to do the best possible job for them. I highly recommend him! Mike, Christopher, and Kathy were all great to work with and I’ll definitely have Parmer & Sons do all our painting/staining jobs in the future.

Had a great experience with our painter Mike, who managed to move furniture and paint a room for us from start to finish in a day. He was knowledgeable and polite, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the end result. We will definitely use this company again in the future!

We had our kitchen completed. Kathy who came to give us our quote was outstanding. She showed up on time, was quick, and explained everything. It was a couple days longer than expected for the crew boss to call and set up the date but the company was able to get us in that same week!! We did have a small hiccup with a late start and a company meeting on my scheduled day and then the crew boss telling me that there was a potential for my kitchen not being completed in the 1 day time frame that I was expecting. When I made my concerns clear to them (not having a working kitchen for more than 1 meal plus overnight with 3 children) they understood and made it all work out. Mike our painter stepped up and stayed late to make sure the job was completed and that my kitchen could be put back together before the kids bedtime. Our kitchen looks great. My experience was great. The entire team was professional. I highly recommend highering this company.

The experience with Palmer and Sons was fine. Paul was lead and Jody and Justin were the on site crew. All were polite and conscientious. They left things clean and were very patient. All my requests were taken care of in a timely manner.

Excellent Painting Service from selection of the colors for our colonial house to the additional work needed to make sure the windows were sealed properly and repairs on the siding etc. Professional Administration as well. Recommend Parmer and Sons highly.

The painting was 5 stars, but it took longer and cost a good deal more than originally estimated. When I got the estimate, already not cheap, I approved. Everything's more expensive these days, right? Then it was, "it's taking longer than we thought it would." Once the job is started you have see it through.
Very polite and professional, and the color coordinator was a great help. Rooms look great. I have more painting to do, but at the cost, I'll have to find another solution.
So if money is no object to you, I recommend them highly.

Our experience with Parmer & Sons was positive. The scheduling, payment and communication experience was positive.

Our start was a little rocky. It took three power washes to get the new wood and old wood to fairly match. This would not have been possible without the outstanding efforts of John Ferguson our project manager. John is a real value in the process of staining your home. He was careful Timely communicative and easy to work with. He spent extra time matching the old wood with the new wood so that the entire home now looks the same under the new stain. While Parmer is expensive I believe that I got my money's worth because of the efforts of John Ferguson.

Pricy but excellent service. Quality of work done was excellent. I would like to thank the company for their understanding of my sudden financial situation at the time and all worked out fine.

Great work! We had our front door painted a bold color and our backyard fence power washed and stained. Everything looks brand new and we appreciate the extra effort to return at the end, walk through the work, and touch up a few areas. We will be calling for interior painting soon!

We had Parmer and Sons come out to quote painting the trim on our house and stain a few other structures on our property. Curt was very communicative and prompt. Received the quote the same day that he came by. We signed off on the quote and were assigned a project manager. Jonathan came by to take a look and go over the scope. We were sent a website that let us look at the colors that we could choose from. It was very difficult to visualize, so Curt came back out with a color wheel. We picked our colors. Painters were on site a few days after that and knocked it all out in one day. They were very professional and didn’t interrupt our day at all. Very pleased with everyone involved.

I cannot brag enough about their service. I have had difficulty finding quality workers in this area and they have exceeded all expectations. Communication was stellar, they were prompt, clean and very attentive to detail. They completed my entire project in 2 days. It was an absolutely incredible experience and I have already recommended them to 3 other families!!!
