I’ve always believed in supporting your local businesses, but after meeting & hiring Park City Gutters and the owner by the name of Applebaum, I’ve concluded we should go to companies that have great reviews. My review for Park City Gutters, I would have to give them a minus Z - after spending approximately $12,000, for copper gutters, there was no customer service after the sale.

From day one, it was absolutely the worst service ever received. We had quite a few joints come apart because they weren’t installed properly, and they basically refused to come out and repair of them even though it had been less than a year from the original time that I purchased the installation of the gutters and the heat tape.

It seems like everything was done first class in terms of the installation as well as the products used, although the heat tape was an inferior grade and the breakers they used were the wrong type for the breaker box and were underpowered. The result is that the downspouts split because the heat tape didn’t work due to being too underpowered and five out of six had to be replaced at the cost of over $8000.00. That included the heat tape that I had to replace along with the gutter downspouts.

Well, Applebaum did come over to the house to look at the downspouts and when he looked at the splits, his opinion was that they all seemed ok & that the water is still going to run through the spouts.

I would only recommend this company, as well as Applebaum, if you like being abused and cheated. I’ve always felt that people that cheat you in sales and service are no different than those who would rob you. That’s exactly what happened to me as we were robbed of our promised service and/or a guarantee, and a decent quality product .
