In 2004 I had P&P put on a new roof. The roof and their work was guaranteed for 20 years. Over the first 5 years I had to call them to have my leaking roof fixed a few times. They always came and fixed it.
In the last few years I’ve had to replace Sheetrock in my bedroom because of a leaky roof, and my custom blinds are stained from water.
Last year shingles started just falling off my roof. I called them on every number I could find and it took several months before some young kid showed up and told me he was taking over the business for his father.
He told me he was going to take the fallen shingles to see if he could find anything similar and fix the roof for me. He said when his dad owned the business the workers would come back from lunch high and the portion of roof where my shingles are falling off must have been done by the “after lunch crew”. He said he was going to try and do right by me and get if fixed.
He took off with my fallen shingles and never returned. I’ve been calling for months and even threatened small claims court. I never got a reply.
Tonight my son came into my room and told me he is getting dripped on (it’s raining pretty bad), so now I have to call another roofing company today so I can pay them to fix the bad job P&P did. I’m a single mom. And P&P should be doing this work for free according to their guarantee. But here I am now trying to afford the work on my own.
I gave them every chance possible to do right by me. This company needs to be shut down.
