Owyhee has done many roofs for me (and friends and family) over the years, and I don’t even bother getting quotes from other companies any more. I can always count on Jeff to be fair, honest, and do a top quality job. He is great at communicating and his crews knock it out of the park. They show up early and get after it, leaving the job site as clean as they found it. I can’t recommend them enough for all your roofing needs!

For years, I worked for an insurance agent in Boise and we always trusted Jeff at Owyhee Roofing for our customers roofing needs. When it was finally time to replace our shingles, we called Owyhee. Their price is good, their work is great, and after the job was complete, they spent about 30 minutes making sure our yard was clean (it was very windy that day). After the crew left, Jeff came and did the final inspection. We highly recommend Owyhee Roofing. They're honest, and they've been around forever.

I would highly recommend Owhyee roofing. Matt contacted me the same day I asked for a bid. He was out the next day and worked with our budget. He was knowledgeable, professional, and listened to our needs. We set a date for the next week. The crew was great! Protected the property with tarps, cleaned up all the debris, and the roof looks fantastic. I would gladly use them in the future.

I needed my roof inspected to put my house on the market. I wanted to know what repairs might be needed and qualified opinion of the age of the roof. Matt was great! Explained everything he did and showed me before and after pics. Very happy with professionalism and customer service!

Recently, I had someone stop by my house and ask if they could inspect and provide a free estimate on my roof to see whether or not it needed to be replaced. My wife and I agreed and they went to work. After they had been up on the roof and done their work taken pictures, they came to provide their findings. After spending over an hour with them they had not given me a price or told me what condition our roof was in. Instead it became a high-pressure sales tactic wanting me to replace my roof at an expense much higher than other companies would've charged. We stopped the conversation and asked them to leave. I then reached out to Owyhee roofing and was put in contact with Matt Payn. Matt scheduled a time to come over met my wife and myself inspected our roof. He came back and told us that he thought the roof was in good enough condition to probably last another two or three years. So instead of being sold a roof replacement we didn't need for a price we couldn't afford Owyhee Roofing and Matt Payn were honest, gave us a fair inspection on our roof. When it comes time to replace our roof, they'll be the people we want to reach out to.

Owyhee did an amazing job on our townhouse community, from start of the long (bid and approval) process in fall of 2023 to finish in summer of 2024. They were consistently patient, amiable, helpful, informative, and easy to work with. After getting bids from several other roofers, Owyhee was the clear winner, with customization to fit our needs, quality, and budget. In re-roofing, they exceeded expectations, checking in with all the owners involved and communicating closely with HOA board members and the property management company. I would hire them again, and wouldn't hire anyone else.

Matt and his team gave us the best price and they arrived as promised and completed the job in one day with the price we were charged being the price we were quoted. the roof is beautiful(as roofs go) and they even replaced some leak damage. They cleaned up after, and left it better then they found it!

My roof had some problems, and I could tell there was storm damage. I contacted Owyhee Roofing and Justin came out quickly for an inspection. He confirmed it was damaged and helped me through the complex insurance process, including coming out during the insurance adjustment.   When it came time for the new roof, it was a breeze. The crew ripped off the old roof and put on a new one in a day. I barely noticed.   Wish my refrigerator delivery was as easy.  The new roof looks and works great.

Look no further! Not only was Justin very informative but due to his expertise, he was able to work with me to get my roof covered by my insurance due to a recent wind storm. Owyhee Roofing is fantastic! The owner Jeff came and looked at our roof the day after we had a crazy microburst rip our existing roof off! Nothing but sheeting left after that storm! The guys came the following week and installed a wonderful new roofing system, cleaned up any old/new debris and left the place looking better than when they found it. Outstanding communication throughout the process and his bid was exactly what his bill was. I will look no further when it comes to a roofing contractor and neither should you. It’s never fun to walk into your bathroom during a rainstorm and feel water dripping onto your head. But that’s exactly what happened to us recently, and we called Owyhee roofing right away. I had a minor leak after the crazy rainstorm we had Sunday. I called a few people for estimates - but Austin at Owyhee Roofing was amazing. He was able to fix the issue on the spot! He showed me a few issues that were going on, and explained I'd need a new roof within the next five years. He also showed me a few different shingle samples and was on his way. I have his business card and will be calling him back when I'm ready to replace the roof. Excellent service, could not recommend highly enough

Highly recommend this team! They did my roof for my North End historic home and did an excellent job. We discovered an issue a few years later, and they fixed it immediately with no discussion. In my view, the true character of a business shows in how they take ownership of their work and resolve issues. I was very impressed with how they handled this!

Matt and the team were fantastic to work with. We had requested bids from 3 different contractors and then saw Owyhee was replacing the roof at our next door neighbor's house, so we asked them to bid as well. From start to finish the communication was great. Matt handled all of my detailed questions, and patiently helped us choose the shingles and color that were right for our home. The price was in the middle of the pack among the other contractors (the least expensive bid suggested lower quality shingles). Once we selected Owyhee, they were actually able to schedule us in less than a week. Complete tear-off and roof replacement were completed in a single day! Our new roof is gorgeous (I know that sounds weird, but it is). Thanks to Owyhee Roofing and the team for a job well done.

Jeff and team helped me with inspection repairs on my home that was for sale. They fixed my roof issues immediately. They cleaned up after themselves and even cleaned out my gutter while on the roof that was full of leaves. I highly recommend them.

I've personally used Owyhee roofing and referred them to clients/friends/family on several occasions and its been great. I remain totally impressed with all the members of the company. Every step of the process is explained before the work starts, work is completed in a timely fashion. Communication is always courteous and efficient and pricing has always been more than fair.

I would like to give less than one star. Will not return phone calls. Have left several messages and text. He has a read receipt so I know he's getting the messages. Jeff put a roof on my building in 2016. Was not vented properly and wrong installation was installed. He has insurance, not sure why he won't call back. Just a few pics are attached.

Edit - our roof has been leaking since they installed it. They have been out numerous times over the years and are now going to have to have it replaced again. They will be sued. I would never ever use them. They are all liars and not an honorable company. If you are having problems with any work feel free to reach out to me so I can share all I have learned about them and companies they work with.
