Dave and David came out and replaced my old awning with a wonderful new patio. They were efficient and professional. Quality of work was beyond excellent. I would use Outdoor Designers again!! I love my new grilling/sitting area!!

Outdoor designers built a screen in porch for our new home. The porch leaks whenever it rains and windows and the door do not shut properly. Have made many calls to the owner John Bowes and just blows us off. He will not come and fix what they did wrong. Not very professional at all, used car salesman that’s all he is. Poor workmanship on the porch and the worker he hired to just put in insulation and dry took two weeks for two walls approximately 8’ and 14’ and just terrible workmanship. This company outdoor designers should not be in business at all.

After a long time planning and interviewing contractors, my wife and I chose Outdoor Designers to build a screened-in porch in our backyard. They did a fantastic job! The end product is exactly what we wanted, hand-built to our specs, including some very detailed work tying a beautiful A-frame roof into an intricately shaped rear section of our house. John and his crews are busy, so we did have to wait a little longer than we planned for them to start the project, but it went fairly quickly once started and we're very happy we chose them for the project. I have already recommended them to several friends.

Outdoor Designers did a fantastic job. So my husband said in my review I should mention how picky I am and that i am a perfectionist and I will add my husband is also very particular about work. John and his team surpassed my expectations. The job was absolutely perfect. Every detail was taken care of, without little issues left behind, like can be seen with others. The materials were all good quality (my big husband can stand of the roof) and supplies came correctly and the workmanship is very skilled. The team who did my work were so professional and kind(Thank you Guys! My neighbors couldn't stop talking about you all). I am impressed by the service. John also went the extra mile and was scheduling things without my asking. John gave me a payment schedule and held to it, and was hassle free. John even called to get me help on gutter addition, without my prompting. They went the extra mile and John lives locally and takes this seriously, based on what I could see. All of this occurred during COVID, and they still had this level of quality. Thank you!

I really hate to leave this type of comment, but I feel like I am left with no choice. In 2012, Outdoor Designers created a beautiful trex deck for me at a cost of $23,000. 8 years later, all the lights go out on the deck. A call to John was made who stated his crews were busy and to call him back in a couple weeks. A couple weeks went by..called again and asked if anyone was available. Again, John said he was busy and I should call an electrician. Problem is,, the deck was built with no service points and the only way to get at the light board is go pull up the deck boards. I called back a few weeks later...John told me that I could do it myself or call someone. Mind you, I was willing to pay for any work done. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I called multiple electricians and multiple othe deck contractors....NONE will pull up the deck boards. Here is where ny problem with John and Outdoor Designers lies......i called John back.....went right to voice mail. Called him throughout the week....all right to voice mail. I had my wife call.....he picked right up. JOHN BLOCKED A CUSTOMERS #!....a customer who spent $20,000.00 on him and his company.. Seriously, what kind of customer service is this? I am beyond annoyed and disappointed, He does good work....but don't expect any loyalty out of this company!! Wonder if he is going to deny doing any work for me like his other negative reviews?

Outdoor Designers removed an old deck on the back of my home and replaced it with a beautiful composite deck with a full apron of steps. I was delighted with the design and their timely work. It was beautifully completed in the timeframe promised, the worksite was kept clean during the process, and the gentlemen who performed the work were very professional. I highly recommend the work of Outdoor Designers!

John built us a lovely screen porch addition with EZ Breezy screens. We love it and for the last year and a half have felt it was the best investment we have made. John had built a screen porch for me years ago on my prior house, so I was happy he was still available to do this one.

I hate having to write this review but the owner, John, left me no choice. I feel I need to warn others of the extremely poor service. I spent $16,000 on a new screen porch with this company. Within a couple of months there was a board that had come loose. I emailed a picture to them and was told they would have someone come out to fix it. No one ever did. Then I have had an annoying leak right in the middle of the screen porch that started after about a year. They would not fix that since they said the warranty is up after a year. I called two other companies to come and check out the leak situation, and both of them told me that the roof of the porch was not installed properly and that is why it was leaking. Even with that, Outdoor Designers refused to do anything without charging me.
The final straw that prompted me to finally write this review was when we had a screen get ripped on the porch. John had said when the porch was initially built that if we ever had a torn screen, that he would come out and fix the first one free of charge. After telling me for three months that he would get someone out to fix it, he never did. Then he told me he could send someone, but only if I paid for it. So the whole "first one's free" promise he had made was gone. I know how to fix a torn screen, but this was a principle thing where I would have hoped he would have been a man of his word. John comes across as a very nice guy initially, but he is as slick as a used car salesman, and won't return your calls once there is a problem. I don't normally write reviews, but I felt this had to be done. Maybe it will make him rethink how he treats his customers.
