We chose Origin Roofing for our gutter and roof replacement after reviewing multiple estimates. Preston, the owner, was knowledgeable and thorough in addressing our questions. He ensured a well-organized process and was actively involved from the initial estimate through to the project's completion. He was responsive to our communications kept us informed at every stage.
The day before the job, Desmond and Jaime took great care in preparing our home, landscaping, and koi pond to prevent any potential damage. The crew completed the job efficiently & maintained a clean worksite upon completion. The entire crew was professional and courteous. Our new roof and gutters look great! I highly recommend Origin for any exterior home needs & would definitely choose them again in the future.

I could not have been more pleased with my experience with the final product. Preston and his crew really went above and beyond to not only address the main issue with our room but he insisted on correcting underlying problems as well.

Let’s face it, we did not daydream about buying a roof but the folks at Origin communicated all along the way, gave us options and were even able to complete the repairs ahead of schedule. This process could not have been easier. I wish I could give 6-stars.

Sharing my experience with Preston and Origin. Preston and his team came out and assessed some leaky windows from rain & ice damage, and were prompt and efficient in their repairs. One thing that was notable about my experience with Preston is that despite finding problems with my roof (improper work done by previous contractors, wind damage from storms, etc.) during his time on this smaller repair, he was not pushy about larger repairs and was very patient with my questions as a homeowner.

We had a 23 year old roof that sustained wind damage. Origin Roofing was called and inspected and did some temporary repairs. Their knowledge base was so critical as they identified the existing shingles had been discontinued and in some states even recalled.

Once I filed the insurance claim, the insurance company sent out an adjuster that inspected the roof, read the Origin report, and agreed with Origin. Results was a total roof replacement. We elected to add a couple upgrades. Insurance covered the new roof minus the upgrades resulting in several tens of thousands of dollars savings to us.

The scheduling and installation process went very smoothly during the total roof tear off and replacement. Tarps were laid on all decks and grounds below to catch debris and nails. The installation crews were neat and orderly. You could tell the team were used to working together.

I would HIGHLY recommend Origin Roofing for all your roofing needs. Special thanks to Joseph for his attention to detail and his ability to explain all processes.

The materials were delivered yesterday to replace my roof. The team showed up this morning to replace the roof. All old materials were removed and new materials installed before 4 pm today. Excellent work and friendly installers. They answered all of my questions and took care of all the clean up. They did an excellent job!

When a chimney issue arose, Preston recommended and coordinated schedules with another company to tackle that repair and make sure the job ran smoothly. We hired Origin to replace a large section of vinyl siding that had been damaged and torn off during a windstorm. They gave us a reasonable estimate then came out and did the repair in about two hours. I'm very pleased with the repair. Origin are nice folks to work with, very professional. I highly recommend them.

While moving into our new home, my wife and I noticed water coming in through the roof. In a panic, we were referred to Preston and Origin by a friend of mine who works with him. Preston came out (on a Saturday), went up on my roof in the rain, and helped tarp the problem area. After the rain stopped, he gave us a reasonable estimate and explained what was needed to be done.
He was kind, professional and informative. Exactly what we needed when making a decision on our biggest investment...our home.
When it came time to do the work, Preston and his team were fantastic! From beginning to end, Tom and Preston answered our questions. They even documented the work through photos/videos and sent me the link so I could see what they did, while it was being done. For such a scary experience....Origin was absolutely amazing! I cannot say enough good things about Preston and Origin. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing help with any roof/siding issues.

Preston and his colleague came out to look at a broken basement window in my house. He said he could replace the entire window for a specific cost, but that I could likely replace the glass myself for a fraction of that. He then took a few minutes and showed me how to do so! Talk about doing right by the potential customer, even if he could have made a sale off of it! Origin appears to be a company you can trust.

We do a lot of work with Origin. They are very thorough, professional and straightforward with letting you know what needs to be done and doing the work safely and correctly. If you need anything from siding redone, to a full roof replacement. I would highly recommend them for your project.

Origin construction did an amazing job on my house and it was done very professionally and efficiently. I spoke with with the Preston about options for replacing our Skylights recently and he took his industry expertise and integrity to help recommend a more cost effective solution.

No work was done due to him being honest and transparent and prioritizing what is best for the customer over himself.

We will absolutely use Origin in the future for any roofing and exterior needs as I am confident I can TRUST them!

9/15/24: Preston gave us $1500 off our invoice to take down my original review (which I did, changed it to 5 stars for his algorithm per his request). Now I'm back because our soffit looks like this a month later, on the dot.

Edit: yes, he did send someone to fix it. However, the average quality work received did not match the cost, nor was it worth the 3.5 months of turmoil required for completion. Only hire Origin if you have a lot of free time to hold them accountable.

Preston and his team went over and beyond for me! He was straight and honest from the beginning on what would be the best options in replacing the roof and to put siding on the house. He was able to get the jobs completed before the deadline that my insurance gave to prevent them from dropping my homeowners policy.Tom the site manager was polite and answered any questions I had during the installations. I was very happy with the workmanship that was done on a recent repair project at my home recently. Origin Construction did their work in a professional timely manner and with the utmost professionalism. Mr. William Thompson kept me up-to-date from the beginning and answered all my questions in a professional manner. Their bid was comparable with the other bids I received, but Origin was more timely than some of the other companies. In summary, I was pleased with the whole process and workmanship of the team at Origin Construction Company.

My soffit was rotting in places. Crew covered it with new vinyl and did it very professionally and quickly. Would definitely recommend to anyone for future home repair.

Phenomenal service which was evident from day one when they met with me - and it continued to fill completion of the job as I watched their leadership inspect the job and personally pick up missed debris from the first clean up. Impressive! They even sent someone back to my home to reattach a gutter drain pipe to my exterior that had been unattached since I bought the house - they asked first of course. Appreciate their attention to detail, speed of the job, and how great the roof looks. For sure will call them again when I’m ready to redo my gutters.

I had a hole in my roof from a tree falling on it after a storm and the next day Joe came and knocked on my door and said he would give me a free estimate it’s like he was heaven sent he got back with me a few days later about the quote and his crew came out when it was convenient for me and replaced my roof they were fast and friendly. They also made sure to clean up when they were done.

The job went as planned they showed up and did quality work and cleaned up after they were done. Easy to work with and will use them on future jobs. Already recommended them to my buddy.

Originally I thought origin did a good job when they replaced my siding but then it rained and water was leaking from the window in my living room. I called origin a guy came out and do said he put some caulk and tape around it. Now a few months later we hit the spring rainy season. The window still has a bad leak. Origin won’t return my calls.
Update: After leaving them a bad review Scott came out and take a look they examined the leaky window and flew a drone over the roof. They said the problem is on the roof, but made promises to help me find someone to get it fixed. That never happened. He never recommended anyone to work on the roof.
Another update: So I’ve done a lot of back and forth with this company to figure out why my window is leaking. Scott did finally come back and help identify the source of the leak. It turns out it was neither the siding nor was it the roof. However because it was such a headache getting someone to help me figure out what was happening I’m only giving them 3 stars.
