Our Organ Mountain solar has worked flawlessly since installation 3+ years ago. The system is everything it was represented to be and performs as described. The company employees have been great. If you want solar, and in the southwest everyone should, you want Organ Mountain.

In my 3 phase solar conversion project, Organ Mountain consistently provided the design and implementation services that met all my requirements. The completed project including solar panels, battery and EV charging. It has flexible configuration alternatives allowing household usage and EV charging to be scheduled to optimize El Paso Electric's Whole House EV Rider program. Organ Mountain provided technical specialists, occasionally aided by the manufacturer's support staff, who understood and implemented a completely automated system.

I did a lot of research on solar equipment, having a background in electronics helped me understand the differences and I knew what I wanted. I received several estimates on solar systems. Everyone tells you their equipment is the best. However, the equipment that Organ Mountain Solar uses actually is the best equipment you can get for the money, they also had the best price. Best equipment at the best price made the decision easy. They also do great work. Having a local business that cares and is there if you have questions is priceless. If I had a chance to do it all again I’d definitely buy from Organ Mountain. Best.equipment, great service, best price, you can’t beat it.

Organ Mountain Solar & Electric did a great job installing solar panels on our house. They were very thorough and explained the entire process to us.

I used Organ Mountain Solar and Electric to remove my solar system for some roof work.(The system was installed by a company that is no longer in business) I received a quote the same day I called and was added to the schedule as soon as they had available. The crew showed up earlier than expected, but called to make sure it was ok to come earlier. When they arrived, every one of them came up to me and introduced themselves and thanked me for having them. They set their equipment up and began the removal process and were efficient, fast and clean. I was told to give them a call back when roof work was complete. I then called them back and was scheduled quickly for my reinstall. Same crew showed up and once again were friendly, clean, fast and efficient. My system was back up and running again the same day. Had a very small glitch with one of the micro inverters not reporting correctly but they saw it from their monitoring and called me to correct the issue within a day. Customer service seems to be their top priority. I highly recommend this company, even if they are not the original installers of your system.

We contracted with Organ Mountain Solar and Electric Company in Las Cruces, New Mexico for the installation of a solar system and a generator backup on August 24, 2024. After a week the company’s engineering team came to our house to survey and design the installation of the systems.
Shortly thereafter they filed the necessary permit applications with the State Inspector and the Electric Company. A couple of weeks later their solar installation team arrived and before the afternoon was over the solar system was installed and ready for inspections. All the team members were courteous and considerate and when they left, the installation site and our landscaping was as it was before.
A month later the generator was installed and the process, conducted by a different team, was as smooth, efficient and unproblematic as the solar installation. However, we needed to install a 200 plus feet gas line from our gas meter to the generator site. Solar Mountain contracted with Sun City Plumbing Company for that job. Sun City subcontracted with a landscaping company to preserve our landscaping and dig the trench. The gas line was inspected by the Stare and then buried and our landscaping restored to as before. The whole process went smoothly without any problems. Everyone involved was courteous and considerate. After all inspections were conducted went on solar and backup power. The whole process was completed by November 18, 2024.

I always get at least three bids for large projects. Not so much to get the lowest price, more to select the company that instills in me the highest level of confidence that they will do the best job. From the get-go, OMSE stood head and shoulders above the rest. They explained the different hardware available and how they compared. They provided me with a detailed analysis of my electricity needs, both past and projected, so I could predict the financial pros and cons of going solar. Once we agreed on a contract - at a competitive price I might add- they quickly scheduled the installation and proceeded to complete it in one day. I hired Organ Mountain Solar & Electric to expand an existing system of 4 panels previously installed by Positive Energy in 2014. Since I had experienced no problem with the photovoltaic panels in the years since 2014, & Organ Mtn. was designated to continue my original 25 yr warranty by Positive Energy when they moved to Albuquerque, I chose this company due to reputation for integrity & competence. Organ Mtn. updated inverters on my older panels, updated electrical requirements, & installed another 12 panels, combining both systems effectively. Their staff was exceptionally reliable to contact for any questions; explained & graphed where panels would be installed & exactly what to expect from them; explained each step of installation clearly; & processed all paperwork for El Paso Electric approval, inspections, & state tax credits in a timely manner. Due to being in demand, they were backed up for quite a while, but were worth the wait, & once able to start, finished my project quickly. Since panels were operational effective June 1, my electric bill has only balanced out to credits, & I am confident my new 25 yr warranties will be honored. I recommend this company to anyone considering investing in a photovoltaic system.

The equipment is top notch, and the array is impeccably installed, the number of panels is appropriate for our use; our electric bills are about ZERO. They did a drone evaluation of our roof and sun exposure and designed a beautiful very flat installation that you cannot even see from the front of the house. Organ Mountain Solar applied for our state of NM rebate for us…we just had to e-sign the application. They have provided the tax form and info for federal rebate too. We consulted and got bids from 3 different solar companies. The others tried to sell us inferior brands and tried to convince us theirs were better but when we did the research we were convinced that Organ Mountain Solar was the best! We had several personal friends that had used them and were very happy with them so we chose this local business.

The technical sales advisor, Donald, was friendly and knowledgable about the whole process. No high pressure sales pitch at all. The install team was prompt and friendly. They were very willing to paint the conduit to match the exterior of my home, as per HOA requirements. The administrative assistant, Ben, facilitated the state tax credit paperwork for me. This was quite helpful since I didn't want to have to navigate all that. They are the only company I spoke with that does this. They effectively described each part of the installation, mandated permit process, inspection wait time and El Paso Electric activation of the solar panel system timeline. This was truly "turn-key" process with their handling of the whole project. I was thrilled with the ease of the whole process. My system has the Enphase monitoring system which is user friendly through a mobil app or my computer. You can save yourself time and stress and go with OMS&E. I did my homework and got various estimates and after all the I went with Organ Mtn. I highly recommend this company!

There are several phases to a residential solar installation -- site survey, panel layout plan, panel installation, electrical hookup, city inspection, electric company inspection and activation (I probably missed a few) -- and at every stage Matt at Organ Mountain Solar kept us up to speed and informed. The site survey guy, the project planner, the installation crew, and the electricians were all friendly, informative, and very professional. The panels they installed are REC, which show up at the top of the heap for efficiency and longevity. The city inspection went flawlessly, and the electrician from El Paso Electric who did the final meter hookup was very complimentary about Organ Mountain's work. This morning I was able to go to our site page online and see that all 14 panels are producing 950+ Wh, our total solar electric production is 13.2 KWh, and our usage is 9.9 KWh, and we're exporting 7.3 KWh. Everything about the project with Organ Mountain Solar & Electric has been first-class.

A note for those shopping for solar installation: I read a lot of really bad customer comments about some other installers working the Las Cruces area. The El Paso Electric electrician who did our final activation mentioned that with some installers he's seen the required electrical line diagrams had been scrawled on notebook paper with grease pencil -- very unprofessional. Remember you will have these panels for a decade or more, so choose your installer wisely!

A 1-year update on the solar system Organ Mountain installed: to date the system has had zero outages, not a single problem, and all panels are producing full power. It has offset our electrical bill completely (actually, because family business forced us to be away from the house, we currently (pun intended) have a positive account balance). Nice!

2-year (almost) update: The system installed by Organ Mountain has been operating with no problems, and my electric bill is nearly zero $. The Enphase wireless monitoring went down, but that's on me -- security concerns had me changing my wireless network password. Organ Mtn noticed that the monitoring was down, contacted me, and helped get it back up at no charge. This company is great. Luv 'em.

The team did a superb job! Not only was installation done professionally but they were able to answer all questions and concerns and made communication with me a priority. They even went the extra mile when my system activation was severely delayed by the city (typically out of the control of the installer) and were able to help expedite the process.

We recently got solar panels installed. The employees are very friendly and willing to explain the process. the decision to purchase was a no pressure approach. We had options about what we could afford and there was no pressure to go with the costliest. They even told us that we would still be without power if the power went out, why, the option to fix that and why they were not recommending it right now.
We had a few hiccoughs during the installation process thanks to COVID but they were in touch the whole time. And if there is going to be a wait period, they tell you that you won't be hearing from them until x date. Our system is doing well and meets our expectations. They made sure that it was working. One more follow-up is scheduled for the tax paperwork.

Great experience working with Organ Mt Solar installing my 15 panel, 5kw roof-mounted system. Good communication throughout. Install team was very polite and got right to work - lots of work to do and done in one day with virtually no problems. There was one install error that kept the local utility from approving the install but it was rectified immediately by Organ Mt Solar and approval followed. Very impressed.

OMS was referred to us by a friend, and our experience was nothing but positive. We didn't want the panels to be visible from the front of our house (peaked roof), and sure enough, they were able to install 18 panels that are only visible from one or two locations on the back of the house. Installation was professional, everyone we've had contact with at OMS was cordial and answered questions we didn't even have. This is a good company!

Organ Mountain Solar just finished installing the third system (04/05/2025) I've had on houses I have lived in. As they have in each of the previous two installations, quality, communications, punctuality and professionalism are superb. I would not consider another solar company.

OMSE was very professional. They got the installation done in a day, and the whole process was done during COVID times, which was an accomplishment in and of itself. We are satisfied with the system which includes an excellent wifi monitoring facility. The entire staff from the sales team to the installation team were spot on. Quality Products At Good Value With Great Customer Service:

We researched installers and solar panels on the internet and asked for quotes from five. Organ Mountain Solar & Electric was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive. They were flexible and provided several quotes with different high quality panel vendors and panel configurations. There was no sales pressure and they answered all of our questions. They got excellent reviews including a word-of-mouth recommendation from our neighbor. They have a well defined and documented process and did all the communicating with the county inspectors and El Paso Electric. They were able to schedule our installation a month after the contract signing and it happened exactly on schedule on the two hottest days of summer. Their work was neat and they cleaned up and removed all of the packaging. They warned that the county inspectors were behind (partly due to COVID-19) and apologized. But after several weeks a county inspector passed our system, El Paso Electric replaced our meter with a two-way meter (to enable net metering), and our system came online. It is performing better than the estimates and we could not be happier. Organ Mountain Solar & Electric provided us copies of and guidance on state and federal income tax credit forms. Corey, Aaron, Alex, Troy, Scott and the whole team are friendly, experienced, local professionals. We recommend them for your southern New Mexico solar project.

What can I say, these guys are great. My sales advisor Donald and project manager Scott were very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. From my initial visit, to the system design for my new home, to the install, to the system orientation and use; they were great to work with. They even worked closely with my builder to "rough-in" their part of the wire install so that I had a very clean looking installation.

Organ Mountain Solar and Electric installed a solar system on our home in November 2019. As a retired engineer, and after taking an NMSU workshop on residential solar energy, I was impressed by the professionalism of their team and their obvious expertise and experience. Donald Wiklund, our sales advisor, and Scott Burns, our project manager, and the whole installation team (led by Alex) were first rate. Communicated well and showed up on time, and took care of all the dealings with the city (inspections) and EPE (new meter).

I only got one other quote before deciding on OMSE, mainly because I was impressed by their knowledge and professionalism. The other quote was more money for a less capable system.

Since switching on the solar, all my electric bills (up through early June) have been negative! EPE paid me off with a check in April, and I'm building up credit again. I imagine I'll use more electricity than the solar generates when I run the AC full time in July, but I think any bills will be small.

I highly recommend these guys to anyone considering getting a solar system.

I wanted to upgrade my newly purchased older home to solar. The good news is that Organ Mountain Solar and Electric told me what they could do, would do AND lived up to their promises. One of the reasons I wanted to post a review is the company I initially contracted with, Solcius, was incommunicado after the signature on the contract was dry, and NOTHING happened well past the deadlines they had established. I had to fire them and, interestingly, both salesmen called several months later to say they were with a different company, just in case I wanted to sign with a “better” company. So glad I had already signed on with Organ Mountain by then. Even with those delays, they had my panels installed, approved and online before the December 31 deadline for the 30 percent Federal Tax Credit.
