I hired One-Way (Brandon) to consult on a barndominium remodel on my historic barn. I was throughly impressed with his knowledge, thoughtfulness around different solutions, and consultative mindset. When we were done, I felt so much more confident with my game plan, expectations and what to look out for. I can’t recommend working with Brandon and the whole One-Way team enough!

Brandon at One Way was very helpful and professional in our renovation consultation. I had several ideas that needed to be addressed (based on price point and feasibility) and he provided a lot of great information. he gave me recommendations for sub contractors and engineers, which is priceless in this high demand market. When the time comes, I won't think twice about using One Way.

I got 4 bids for a basement egress window project and Brandon from One Way Construction's was by far the most professional proposal and fair price. It wasn't the cheapest, but it his level of detail showed me how he understood the project better than some of the others. So I definitely think it was the most fair and best value.
A lot of people and pieces had to come together just right to make it all happen so fast, I know how big of a job that can be, so thank you so much! What a huge improvement to our house.
The finished product looks great. I'm super pleased how smoothly everything went and how it's looking and feeling now that my dark basement room has light and fresh air.

I worked with Steve with One Way Construction NW. He was able to locate me a pole for my meter panel and was able to install the pole in rock (Badger Mountain) in the location I requested. With the pandemic and all the wild fires they were able to get the job done. Soon I will see the light. The actual cost was very close to the original estimate. I am very pleased with the work performed. From Steve to the companies support team they were all responsive and easy to work with. Worth your time to get an estimate for your next project. I know I will for my next project. Thank you!

If you want to build a home that fits your dreams and is unique to YOU, there is only "ONE-WAY" to go! When we decided to build our home on a lot with a golf-course view, I embraced a dream to have a design that allowed you to see the back view from the front door! The team at One-Way Constructions collaborated with us to make this dream a reality! Brandon and Sam offered innovative ideas and professional guidance. They worked with us to make adjustments during the framing phase, one of which resulted in a corner walk-in pantry that I absolutely love! They remained transparent during the project and responded with honesty!

After considering a pre-fab option for our build we ultimately decided to go with a traditional stick-frame option for our 2.5 acres in Plain, Wa. We're glad we went that route back in 2017. We've worked with several contractors over the years and while our impatience always gets the best of us, while easing our anxiety Brandon's team was always communicative and respectful. The quality of their work is fantastic and their ability to work with non-standard building materials (like plywood for your interiors or even shipping containers) was impressive. All this to say, you should be confident in choosing OneWay for your next project. We'll definitely use them again.

One-Way helped us create a very unique cabin build. We had some pitfalls in finding the right type of property or cabin for us and Brandon helped us turn this crazy dream into reality once we found our little slice of forest. The One-Way team met with us often and was always there to discuss questions and go over the project. There were a few hiccups and timelines took longer than expected but that is part of construction. It was however done right with attention to detail. Because of the uniqueness of our build we continue to work with One-Way as things come up and we are met responsively.

What can I say...when no one in the valley would take my calls Brandon was open to meeting with me to discuss our custom home project. They decided to go on the adventure with me. Are they perfect? No, but no one is perfect! They are custom home builders not "cookie cutter" specialists so it is much like making a recipe for the first time...every time. Simply put, construction projects are a roller coaster ride of decisions and problem solving. These guys are conscientious, have an eye for the details and work with their clients to bring the home owner's dream to reality. Sam, Rusty and their entire team worked collaboratively with me to build our dream and are open and honest. These guys look for ways to resolve issues with minimal cost overages, deliver what they promise and take care of their home owners. If there is a savings they pass those along too. In a nut shell, they are honest and stand behind their work! That is the best promise you can get from anyone or service. I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with One-Way...our dream is now our new reality and we love it!

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
