Olson replaced the windows on the top floor of my home. They did a fantastic job and for a great price. Installation was quick. The installers were very professional and took measures to protect the interior of my home and picked up all debris when done. One of the new windows did have a problem but that was taken care of quickly by Pella and Olson. Highly recommend them for your next project. I will definitely be contacting them within the next year or two to replace the windows on the main floor of my home!

Don't use anyone else! We have used them for windows and a roof. Very professional and communicative. They were the only roofing company that went the extra mile for us when we requested it. Tony A and his crew are top notch!

Olson Windows get my highest recommendation! I got quotes from a few places, Olson provides the exact same product as others, at a significantly lower price. They even included trim replacement at no additional cost, no one else offers that. They came and installed windows and a patio door in one day and their work is CLEAN. I am extremely impressed by the installation. My windows had a few minor issues, latches not working properly and a minor scratch on one of the windows; These issues were resolved extremely quickly.

We had a tricky window replacement with rotted wood behind the walls. Another window company didn't want to touch it. Olson installers replaced the wood and did an excellent job with the new windows. Very professional.

Will never use Olson for any services as their driver forced me out of my lane into oncoming traffic just to make a turn lane in time while commuting to work, in a labeled work vehicle literally jerked over into my lane with no signaling or prior signs of intent. If this is how they drive on the road I hate to see how they deal with customers.

Great experience, quote through installation. Windows, slider & entry door look & function wonderfully. Mariano & Jose are true craftsmen, professional, fast, efficient, and did a fantastic job! The building inspector saw them in action & briefly glanced at a few of my in-process pics & a few of the finished windows and KNEW that the job was done right!! I recently had the siding on my house replaced by Olson Windows Doors Siding. I decided on Olson because of the details and explanations their representative, Joe H., provided from our initial meeting through the completion of the project. Their written proposal provided a complete, easy to understand explanation of the materials, costs, terms, and conditions of the project.

As the project started and progressed, Joe H. kept me informed of arrival of workers, placement of materials, and any problems that arose due to the age and condition of the house. The two-man crew installing the siding were polite and helpful at all times. They left the work area clean every day.

I am extremely happy with the end result of the project and would not hesitate to use them again for any other project. I would highly recommend Olson.

We are extremely pleased with our decision to purchase our patio door from Olson! Our salesperson, Scott, came to our home to discuss options, then he scheduled a time for us to visit the store to actually see the doors. (Other manufacturers brought a 1 ft x 1 foot ‘sample’ !!) The installers and finishers were all very professional. There was 1 hiccup in the process (on the manufacturers side) but Olson office and sales staff were quick to followup and resolve. Ivan kept the Sales process simple which we appreciated compared to other companies we talked with. The day of window installation they worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves as much as they could. We got a quick run down of the windows after they were done.

A very professional company with top notch staff. From the first meeting with Tony to discuss our Pella window replacement, easy to understand quote and contract, professional follow up by Christy to set date for installation, with an expert crew of installers. The installers were friendly, neat, efficient and professional. There were no short cuts and when they finished everything was neat and clean. There was no debris and the items moved were replaced. Hector, the painter matched the trim stain perfectly and every nail hole fill with putty to match the stain.

With Olson Windows of Barrington IL, the installation of our new windows went extremely well. We needed to replace two large picture windows, one of which required scaffolding because the mounting location was 14 feet above the ground floor. The skilled installation crew fitted the windows in perfectly. They were professional, on time and very friendly. The carpenters came with our window right on time. They went to work taking out the old window/door and resolved any issue of rot immediately. The two gentlemen carpenters prepared for installation of new door. As the new door was being placed in the opening, much consideration was given to every detail. We recently had our siding and windows done with Olson.
From start to end the process was incredibly easy and our contact through the entire process, Tony, was sure to answer all our questions. Tony was upfront about the possibility of any additional costs that could be involved (we have an old house that required a few additional repairs during the process), and always came to us before moving forward with the unexpected work.

They were able to start our house earlier than we were initially told, and the entire process lasted about 2 weeks. The crews were all super respectful of us and our property, making sure to clean up the work sites both inside and outside of the house.

We could NOT be happier with our overall experience regarding Olson Exteriors. In August 2022, they replaced our ranch home roof, added new flashings and oversized gutters / downspouts...each using a different team that specialized in those specific areas. Their teams worked hard, cleaned up expertly and, most important, their installation was superb. Pricing was very fair considering we used Grace Shield Select underlayment, Ownings-Corning lifetime warranty architectural shingles and had unusual flashing needs. The gutters were the final touch - outstanding. Should we need ANYTHING exterior in the future, Olson will be our "go-to" company, without hesitation.

We needed new windows, sliding glass patio door, and a new front entry door assembly for our condo. When we got estimates from several window, door, and renovation companies it was difficult to compare apples with apples. Despite the fact that our condo association spells out specific guidelines and requirements for contractors in doing this type of renovation here at Lake Barrington Shores, most of the contractors wanted to do it the way that they have grown accustomed to. We wanted to make sure that we chose a company that was going to follow the specs and condo assn. requirements and was going to comply with all codes prescribed by the Village of Lake Barrington. With all of the cooler and wet weather we had this spring we have already noticed a significant improvement in maintaining a steady temperature without having our heat pump having to work overtime. And with these extreme summer temperatures right now our cost savings are already apparent. Our window and door investment choices are paying off.

Very transparent giving their best quote upfront for less haggling. Competitive on Pella, even beating Pella’s company store. Also agreed to extended payment terms due to supply chain delays. After doing research about window companies I started to think that all the players were bad. Tons of reviews about poor service, poor support and a hard sales pitch. Olson was the only one that didn’t have those bad reviews so I went that way.

I’m so happy I did! Everything went exactly how they said it would. And the installation team was super competent and super polite. Best of all there was NO hard sales pitch! We did half the windows in our house in the first round and I most assuredly will be working with Olson to complete the project and do the rest of the windows in a few months.

Terrible customer service, Rose will not make an appointment for us to review window options as we are building our own home. You can't come in and see the actual windows you are planning to buy. We had a good experience from start to finish. From the in-home consultation, to the showroom, to the measure, they answered all of our questions and the windows were installed in the time frame provided. We received 4-5 estimates from a variety of companies and Olson was one of the lowest with a high quality product and good reputation. Our salesman even offered options others did not that improved the final product.

I really have no complaints. The whole window process was overwhelming with all of the options and things you don't know as a homeowner. I felt informed and safe with Olson and while I hope to never have to have windows installed again, I would call Olson again.

We were beyond impressed with Olson. We replaced multiple windows and added a custom sliding door off of our patio. Everything looks absolutely fantastic. We worked with Tony and he was very knowledgeable, responsive and just an all around nice guy. It was a big project and everything was done on time and the right way. We replaced all the windows on our house in March. The entire process from estimation through scheduling and installation was excellent. The professionalism and workmanship of the installers of our new windows which we ordered for our entire home was exceptional. The men were timely, efficient and careful to keep all areas clean and removed all waste materials when they completed the installation. Shortly after the completion, an appointment was set up to complete “touch-up” painting around each window. Herman was an absolute perfectionist filling all tiny nail holes and adding a final layer of paint on the wood surfaces surrounding each window. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product and highly recommend the Olson Windows and Doors company.

Excellent service and quality products. Front door was installed with in a few hours and the finish work was top notch. Dont try and buy a door from a big box store and have some random 3rd party do the install and raise their quote...Olsen was about the same cost and the price never changed.

Scott, our sales rep, was always following up with us especially this year during covid. The installation was seamless and in fact we requested the same installation team for the windows and our doors. They took their time with the installation and cleaned up once finished.

Olson Window provided us with 6 new windows replacing our 124yr old windows on our Victorian. With owning an old house we were very sensitive to having the windows fit with the rest of our windows in terms of size and trim as well as the interior oak woodwork that is over 100yrs old. Scott was our salesman and he understood our concerns and was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with everything we needed to be comfortable. The installation mgr came out twice to measure and the installation went off without a problem and they look great. We also had Tom come in to do the staining and he also did a terrific job matching our oak woodwork. Can't say enough good things about the whole process. I would highly recommend Olson. You get what you pay for and in this case even more.
