Very prompt in coming out for an estimate and very polite and they were also very prompt on doing the job and the workers were fantastic people and friendly!!!

Great company to do business with they go above and beyond with customer satisfaction and do great work. Only took two days too pour a double wide driveway and sidewalk.First day tear out and reframe second day pour the new concrete, came back for a couple hours to cut joints and backfill and set porch steps on the third day. Their crew of workers are very hard-working, polite and go above and beyond the job at hand. I would highly recommend and use this company again in the future.

Olson Cement was OUTSTANDING from start to finish. We needed sidewalks replaced, both on the front and on the side of our corner lot. We also wanted a larger front porch with more gradual steps, and a wider walkway from the porch to the sidewalk. Jeff came out (twice! because we changed our mind on some specifications) and provided us with an itemized estimate and answered all our questions. Jennifer in the office was always friendly and helpful in coordinating inspections and on-site work. The crew was extremely professional and was respectful of our property and our neighbors throughout the week-long project. Their work was very high quality and, upon completion, they did a thorough cleanup.

We hired Olson Cement Work and Construction to replace our old driveway and build a brand-new front porch with steps, and the results are incredible! From the very first meeting, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They helped us plan out every detail and delivered exactly what they promised, right on schedule. After getting several quotes, we decided to go with Olson Cement for our new patio. Their pricing was very fair compared to others and they were upfront and honest about everything from start to finish. The crew showed up on time every day, worked efficiently and left everything spotless when they were done. The finished product looks incredible. Olson delivered exactly what they promised and more!

We needed our roof done after moving into a fixer upper. A good friend told us about Olson and I’m so happy we took the chance with them! My husband and I loveeee our new roof and they did such a great and efficient job. They were respectful, quick and really kind to our neighbors and dog. The pricing was reasonable compared to all the other companies we got estimates with. I’m really happy and I highly recommend!

They are horrid and have bad customer service after taking 12000 bucks for new drive and now peeling and pitting from poor cement mix they use. They came out took pics said will show boss call me back and after numerous phone calls to them nothing. The Jeff guy who dies estimates is rude and awful no personality . Don’t use them you are wasting your money and giving yourself trouble. I had gravel drive before and now turning back to it and I could have saved 12000 dollars stay away from Olson

Jeff came out in July of 2024 to give us an estimate to have some repairs done on our porch. He explained everything very well and understood it wasn’t something I was looking to have done that summer- rather the following spring.

Spring of 2025 they came out for the repairs. They were very fast and the porch looks great so far! Hoping it buys us many more years . There was an issue where they moved my gutter down spout extension that I had so it went FAR away from my house. When they left they put it back on but cut my extension down to the last 5 -6 inches so that it basically ran right next to my porch. They left the extensions in my front “garden” area. I left it there because I knew they were coming back (just to see if they had other plans with it I’m not sure). They did not do anything with it when they came back. I reached out to the office just curious about why that was done. I was not mad- just curious. They reached out to Jeff who did a pop up visit and went to Home Depot and bought me 2 new extensions for my down spout It was so sweet and 100% not needed but he wanted to make it right. He refused to let me pay for them.

We will be using this company in the future for major projects! We will request Jeff every time because he goes above and beyond for his customers. He’s a family guy that watches out for other families.

Nothing but excellent experience with Olson cement and Construction you can definitely tell they are one of the few companies that can do any construction from A to z. I think I even seen they they have been in business from 1928 or 1929 that’s like almost 100 years. On one project they even had a crew out the same day

We had our 20 yr old driveway taken out so they could waterproof the basement wall and put a new driveway down. The driveway is less than three years old now and it's pitting terribly. At this rate in two years it will be gravel. I'm not sure if they got the cement mix wrong or had air bubbles. We only use calcium chloride on the driveway. The twenty year old cement looked much better than this does now.

I have the kitchen of my dreams. The guys were amazing!! Going to have them do my 3 bathrooms and my basement. I could not have been more pleased with the quality of the work these gentlemen are able perform. Thank you Mike n Crew!! I look forward to seeing you back in the spring.

Jeff was great to work with from start to finish. The crew who did our cement work did an amazing job and were so kind. I would highly recommend them.

Jeff came out to give me a estimate for my porch steps and railing. Joe and his crew came out to install them and the work they did was fabulous and Joe made sure everything done was perfect. Jeff, Joe and his crew were very informative, nice attitudes and I appreciate all of them . I would recommend them and I myself will call them for future work. Jackhammering concrete before 8am.
Why not hammer it out the day prior at reasonable hours?

Not only do you avoid waking the neighborhood, you also avoid the risk of work butting up to your planned concrete pour.

Totally get the need to start early, but minor scheduling could help the neighbors while reducing your business risk.

John and Terry did great work managing my roof and gutter projects. The entire team at Olson was great about informing me of the process and educating me on what needed to be done. Their pricing is very competitive and their work speaks for itself!

Olson cemt did a great job from John the salesman to finished product. The job was complete in one day.

We had a leaking window well that was poorly installed by our builder years ago. John and his team went above and beyond to make the new window well correct and drain properly. Definitely happy with their work.

We are adding an addition to our home and Olsons came out and did our new foundation work! From the time of the estimate to them being done with the work was under a week! The work was all done over a weekend and they did an amazing job. Hoping we have an excuse to work with them again in the future! Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

The owner himself came out to do our estimate and was very helpful and informative. He gave us a great price for a new porch cap, steps, and brickwork to make our porch look new again. We know Brent Day, who works for the company, and he recommended them as being professional and affordable, which is hard to find nowadays. We were very pleased with the job, and workmanship of all that came to our home to make it look so good. The workers were very professional and easy to talk with when I had any questions. I would highly recommend using Olson's to anyone needing professional cement work of any kind at an affordable price.

What a great job on my sidewalk and walkway. Looks fantastic. Everything went so well, from the time I called to completion. I've told lots of people how happy I am with it and would use them again .

We have always used Olson for foundations, slabs, "East Wing" addition & most recently the Pool Side Patio.
As usual excellent work & Craftsmanship by the hard working team. Our Estimator was caring enough to talk us thru exactly what we needed. He worked with us on pricing. He followed up as project started, in progress & after complete. I was expecting the yard to be trashed with the location of work behind the house. ( You never knew they did all that work)

Olson Cement did an excellent job for me!!! I was so pleased with the outcome since I was out of town and did not see it till completed. They had a lot of work to do with breaking up old patio and sidewalk in backyard! Came back, everything was completed as planned and best of all everything was cleaned up! These guys sent a guy out for a quote who was very rude, and had no interest in discussing the project or my questions and concerns. They made me feel like I was wasting their time. I contacted them about this and they promptly sent another guy out, who actually was willing to discuss the project and my concerns. Even gave some good advice. Because of this, I would recommend Olson Cement. They seem to care about their customer or even potential ones.

Steve came out today to get me an estimate on work needed. Very professional and helpful. Steve listened to my concerns and answered by questions.

Steve of OLSON CEMENT was courteous and respectful. He did an excellent job and gave me thorough explanation and cpoies of the job specifications.

Olson Concrete is the WORST …they’re taking advantage of consumers and their hard earned money by providing an unprofessional (unfriendly)services with subpar products.

Olson installed our driveway in the summer of 2022 and it’s already coming apart.

When I reached out to Olson to see if the company can help with any solution or help they refused and continue to say it is normal for the concrete to break up in Michigan and to by a sealant from Home Depot after a year and half? Unacceptable.

This is unbelievable and untrue because my neighbor had his driveway done a year prior and there’s no lifting or damage on his driveway as of date.

Olson is a ripoff stay away and make sure you know about the quality of work your contractor does.

Words cannot express our disappointment concerning the service received. And this will not be the ENDING Olson we continue to hear from me.
Update : This unprofessional cement company Olsen continues to show their lack of accountability and concerns.. The mail/notice I sent contesting the payment for a VERY POOR SERVICE! Was returned to sender, unopened. They made note for me to call a disconnected Verizon number for resolution . See below when they have me number.
BEWARE! STAY AWAY. And research and review the contract company work and professionalism before paying thousands for defective construction jobs like us.

I had Olsen do some brick work and a lot of tuck pointing. They did such a good job that I hired them to do a driveway and a new very wide fence. Everything turned out great!!! The price was right and Dave the representative was fantastic to deal with and very patient with me. Thanks again Dave.

Review from Fall of 24': Had driveway replaced and new approach o our porch by olsens. They were great to work with. Everyone was professional and courteous and they did a great job in a short amount of time.
Would recommend them for similar cement work.

9 months later: I sadly retract my recommendation to work with Olsen. My cement driveway has pools of water on slabs instead of being properly sloped to drain to the sides (this was the primary reason for me to get a new driveway). But that is not the worst. I have multiple spots of spalling (even after I sealed this last fall). I called olsen many times over the past few months to come out and assess the situation and figure out what to do. No response and not plan to address this issue. I guess I will have to figure out the repair myself or call a reputable residential cement company that knows what they are doing, otherwise my new driveway will only last a few years instead the many years it should.

Steve Ray came out to give me a quote about my front/back approach and back patio area. So professional, informative and had quite the sense of humor. Definitely will be giving him business!

I hired Olson to replace my front porch steps, and install a handrail and mailbox post. After a minor hiccup, I called the estimator, Jeff Hagan, and he got the issue resolved in less than 24 hours! The gentlemen who did the work were friendly and professional, and did a great job for a reasonable price. I would hire this company again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

Steve Ray just came by. What a pleasure to have such service. We had Olson's do our last job some years ago and we know the job will be done right. Thank you for all your help.

Update: In less than 2 yrs of getting our driveway poured by Olsen Cement Inc, my driveway is crumbling. Their response was “ it’s beyond the one yr warranty. We suggest you put a sealant on the driveway to slow down the corrosion. “
If it was going to look this bad after just 2 yrs what’s it going to look like in another 2 yrs?
I can’t recommend Olsen any longer for your cement needs.

Couldn’t ask for better service from a company! Called them on a Wednesday, came and gave an estimate on Thursday, booked the job on Friday.
By Thursday the following week we had a newly completed driveway and couldn’t be happier. Dave ( the owner) was here himself making sure it was done correctly and I was happy. I’ll be using them again anytime i need cement work.

Olsen cement is amazing !! We were working with a different cement company for 2 years. With multiple reasons why the job was not getting done. At the last minute the company back out and said they could not do the job. I contacted Olsen cement and in less than a week our driveway is done !! Their customer service is superior ! The driveway looks perfect.

Steve Ray came to our home and gave us a great deal to have our garage cemented. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The guys that came out to work were always moving and working hard. They showed up everyday on time. They cleaned everything up and left no mess behind. Would 10/10 recommend Olson to any friend or family.

I call for an estimate and quickly received a quote. Good price and they worked me in the schedule fast. I thought I would have to wait till the end of summer to get it done. Very satisfied.

We began the process of replacing our damaged front porch steps on Monday with a visit from Jeff Hagan. He helped me decide on the scope of work and quoted a very good price. It's now Friday, the job is complete and my wife and I are very happy with the quality and the timeliness of our new porch steps.

We recently had Olson Cement work & Construction out to give us a price to put in a new patio. David was kind and respectful. Very knowledgeable, they answered all of our questions. Very nice and patient with us. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have any work done. I felt comfortable and safe.

Had a sunroom removed and an addition added. Every person was nice and did a great job. Room looks amazing and the price was very reasonable.

Steve was very professional, took his time and explained to me all the different options. Great person to work with.

Steve came out and gave us an estimate. He was on time, friendly, professional and explained everything very well. Looks like we will probably go with Olson's. Just one more estimate to be done. Have to do my due diligence.

Met with David Anderson today, he came out to do an estimate on few backyard areas we are looking to do cement pads.
David was very professional and personable. He was exact with his measurements and very detailed with his estimate, he took the time to explain his process and to go over my concerns.

We need more companies like Olson cement, my family and I truly appreciate David and the Olson team for making this decision an easy one.

I have used this company for many different jobs from a driveway to a home renovation. I had an amazing experience with them every time and HIGHLY recommended them. They have also done fantastic work for some of my friends and family. The office staff was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had. The workers were very respectful and got projects done fast. Michael was able to give me exactly what I wanted. I will for sure use them for future projects. 5 out of 5 stars!

Requested a quote and Olsen sent out Jeff - my comments echo what others have said about him.

I requested a call before the estimator showed up to confirm appointment time. Because we all know how reliable contractors are at being timely. No call, just a business card in my mailbox. Didn't even take measurements.

I call the number on the card, Jeff agrees to call AM following day. Never calls. He calls me randomly during the PM wondering if I'm home.

The crew was great. There were a few hiccups, but they resolved everything. The work looks great, the clean up was superb. Definitely recommend based on my experience.

Horrible horrible experience. Set up a quote, Jeff was sent out for the inspection. I requested a later appointment due to my work schedule, Jeff called wanting to come at 10am was almost annoyed that I said I wasn’t off until late. I unfortunately let this man on my property without me there. I reached out with questions since the quote was almost $3,000 more than the 3 other quotes I received and was met with no response. I then called the office who immediately sent me to him. The entire time he spoke to me in a horribly condescending manner, the moment I started asking questions he had zero answers, I asked him to call me by my name instead of the pet names he was calling me. He then was very clearly done with me, he told me to go with another company. I spoke with the office staff who before I could get my sentence out always said “we don’t do that here” honestly just all around a miserable experience. Coming from someone who has been in the customer service/construction business for some time now… I have never seen a company conduct business like this.

These guys did a total bathroom redo for me and did a great job. Blew me away with their hard work all frickin day, every day. Got entire bathroom tear out and installed new stuff in only one week. Kept everything as clean as possible every day. Good guys and no dickin around once the job began. Had some problems planning job with them but eventually got on track. All jobs have problems, the way it is...

I feel if you are a person of minority,do not call them at all! They can’t tell me they don’t charge a “race” price. Believe me,I’m not that kind of person that wants to believe that at all but there is some validity! I have 2 different co-workers that referred Olsen and from what I seen,they do excellent work. 1 co-worker had a full driveway done from backyard to the street. Price they paid,not bad at all. So I get a estimate for my driveway which is very very small compared to my co worker,and I was quoted $2000 more…huh? I didn’t go with them. So 2 years later,I’ll give them another chance. My patio is literally 25’x15’,i call Olsen again,was quoted $7900…huh? I ended up going with Reale Cement out of Woodhaven for half the cost and the work was phenomenal!!! So like I said,I’m not that kind of person that’s why I have them another opportunity and they failed. So if you’re any race other than white,they’ll quote you a “race” price. They 2 co-worker of mine who is white himself even thinks the same. He was getting a patio done as well bigger than mine,but at a cheaper cost. Huh….really?

Poor workmenship, didnt stand by their work. very sorry I used them, QUICK UP DATE, had Olson back out, its a bad mix, and thats will it fell apart , which sounds crazy for z company that do this for a living, they will come back, so they said, but never heard another word. It was a small job for them, didn't make a lot, but it was for me, its best to find a QUALITY company who are proud of the work , no matter the size of the job !!
