From the start we have been very impressed with Olsen Builders. Silas has been the representative who has worked with us and couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. He is pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable about roofing and was great about explaining and answering all of our questions.

We have used Olsen Roofing twice since getting a glowing referral from a neighbor several years ago. They have NOT disappointed and have gone the EXTRA MILE to communicate, collaborate and coordinate their work with us from beginning to end. Their balance of professionalism and being personable makes them be the first person we will ALWAYS call and refer to others. Thx a bunch to Silas & Kent & the team for making the process seamless.

Olsen Roofing did a great job. They were quick, the roof looks great, and they were easy to work with.

I have a 5 plex which had some shingles destroyed by a wind gust. Olson Roofing checked the lost shingles, contacted my insurance agent for me, interacted with the adjuster, took photos of the damages, and handled everything.

He brought me sample colors, scheduled with the property manager so the tenants would be prepared, and then called me a couple of days later when they were all done. I now have a beautiful new roof and my property is spotless. It felt like Christmas.

In our experience they were always on time, cleaned up after themselves, were not any louder than they needed to be, and for this major of a renovation we were surprised at how easy they made it for us. Olsen Roofing does incredible work! They replaced our roof a few years ago and did an amazing job! They were honest, timely and efficient! We were so happy with their work that we called them again after we had damage to our roof from birds. They were so quick and knew exactly how to repair it. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Silas was wonderful to work with. He was honest and personable, and his pricing was the best I found. He was flexible with our scheduling needs and his team did quick work. Highly recommend them!

We built our house and used this company they did such a bad job after one year we started seeing leakage on our ceiling we try to talk to them and told them to come and fix they came and said it fixed but after couple months we have the same problem on the same spot leaking I will never use this company again and recommend people not to use this company very bad experience

Silas was at my home within hours of us needing help with our roof. He took extensive time to work with our insurance company to be sure our roofing needs were met. I am so grateful for his help with our home!

The workers at Olson roofing we’re professional in every way. They were punctual, clean, and did fantastic work! They were also very friendly.

I don't often write reviews that aren't glowing about a company because I own a business of my own and everybody can have a bad day from time to time, but they earned this one.

Olsen Roofing did my roof back in 2017 on a custom home. Since that time we have had leaks in 4 different areas of the home. ALL leaks were attributed to cutting corners, poor attention to detail, and actually laying the roof incorrectly.

They laid the underlayment and ice and water shield wrong.
They left exposed nails without sealing them.
They shot nails through the flashing on the flues.
They left the drip edge short on every side of the house.

I have had 2 roof repair companies come out and tell me I need an entirely new roof on a home that IS 6 YEARS OLD.

I called them simply asked if they would come verify that the work they did was correct or even send over the inspection that was done at completion.

Randy Olsen, THE OWNER, didn't show an ounce of care or concern for our problems or that our home is being destroyed because of the poor work they had done. He refused to even send someone out to look at the roof. He was quite rude, inconsiderate, and had no accountability. He even said "6 years is pretty good for a roof!" which is wild!

Both companies who came out to assess the damage and repairs said, "Call the original roofers. They will usually stand by their work especially when the problems are clearly caused by their work."

Well I did and he treated me poorly and did nothing about it. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. And would work with a guy like Randy in industry.

It will cost me twice as much to repair my roof and the damage their work caused than it did to have them do it in the first place. Steer clear of this company and this owner. You do not want these problems.

Randy and Silas are really great to work with, they know how to get the job done, they worked on a government project at hill and they knocked it out the park. They are really skilled at what they do and know how to satisfy our client! Keep up the good work can’t wait to see what you guys do next.

These guys are great. Very punctual and have excellent communication. They were by far the cheapest to remove and replace my solar for a roof install.

Olsen Roofing repaired my mom’s roof. I can’t even tell where they worked it looks so good! Their crew is very friendly and courteous. Very affordable too!

I have been Olsen Roofing’s main roofer/foreman for the past 5 years. I honestly didn’t think I would work there very long, but i have and continue to do so because of how much Randy and Silas care about who works for them and the people they service. Olsen Roofing will take care of your roof needs and make things right every time.

Olsen roofing is a top quality company. They are easy to deal with. They give you a bid within one or two days. Their prices are the best!!!! I got the shingles that I wanted. I got the color that I wanted. They installed roof vents for me at a very low cost. My air conditioning unit isn’t working as hard to cool the house now. The roof looks great!

We had a fabulous experience with Olsen Roofing! After wind caused damage to our roof, we had Olsen come and take a look. They supported us through the process of working with our insurance and then did a fantastic job on the actual replacement of our roof. I could list a string of adjectives that would absolutely apply (professional, kind, trustworthy, etc. etc.) but I will sum it all up by saying that our experience with Olsen Roofing is what I want every type of business transaction to be like! Thank you Silas and team!!

After having the wind blow shingles off my roof this past May 2020, I began the contractor search. Getting a bid from multiple people was easy enough, but I soon learned that there are details I initially didn't know to ask. The folks at Olsen were very responsive and patient as I got my questions answered. (To be fair, all the contractors were very helpful.)

In the process I discovered that not all shingles are equal and of all the lowest bids, the brand of shingle that was included in the Olsen bid was one of the top-rated brands. Other low bids were based on brands that in my search were not well rated and while most other contractors all offered to install any shingle I wanted, the fact that the Olsen go-to brand was better rated suggests they were not just interested in landing the contract, but also focused on initial quality. I ended up upgrading to a higher-grade shingle line from the same brand offered by Olsen and still was able to fit within the insurance estimate. I couldn't be happier.

In the process, I learned that I should have asked for more detail as well in the bids as possible including: shingle brand/product line, details on what's included in the tear off, ice/water shield and underlayment brand/product, options for vent pipe flashings (metal, plastic, color matched, etc.), and specifics on any roof vent installation/replacement. There are many options out there of varying material types, durability and warranty and it makes it easier to compare bids with these types of specifics.

Overall, I am very happy with the end result.
