If you are in the market for a shed then look no further than Old Hickory Sheds in Okanogan! I highly recommend that you go visit their lot and talk to Hunter Smith. From the minute we drove onto their lot we felt zero pressure whatsoever. This is a big purchase and the stress of spending good money on a large item such as this is not something to take lightly. Hunter immediately came out to greet us and very professionally made himself available but not hovering. He showed us so many options. He even talked me out of upgrades that he knew I didn’t need after talking o me about what I would be using the shed for. He genuinely cares for your needs and very adeptly guides you to the best decision, not the most profitable one as some companies would do! The only not part of this deal that really stressed me out was the build time and the transport. But as soon as we decided to go with the beauty you see in the pics I was called by Hunter’s transport driver and he kept me updated weekly as my shed was being built to make sure he made the soonest delivery available from the build site. Hunter also checked with me continually letting me know how the build was going. It ended up being finished a week early and was soon on its way! The transport driver showed up with the most incredible Ford F-350 hauling a a ridiculously cool remote controlled articulating flatbed! I wanted my shed put in a very tight location surrounded by bushes and a large tree right on the edge of my garden’s roundabout. The precision and skill that he used with that remote controlled articulating flatbed absolutely blew me away! He was able to lower and turn and back the shed in with the motorized flatbed like a professional pizza chef sliding a pizza into the very exact center of a brick oven! Hunter called me after the install a few times to keep checking on how I felt about the shed. He really does care about his customers because he had no obligation whatsoever to contact me after he already had my money and his product was delivered. This was such an easy experience that I assumed would be so daunting and stressful. I am 110% satisfied with Hunter Smith and Old Hickory Sheds in Okanogan! They knocked this out of the park! Top notch people at a top notch company! Thank you Hunter!!!

I gotta say, this company has been a disappointment from day one. First of all it was nearly impossible to get one of the local builders to actually answer our questions or give us a quote. We finally reached out to corporate and were assured someone would follow up- no one did. We pushed forward anyway thru this location and it was like pulling teeth. We went ahead anyway and decided on a 14x20 with 14k worth of upgrades. They quoted 4-6 weeks to build, took our money and and went quiet. Weeks and weeks went by with no word. Just silence. After the time quoted came and went we finally got ahold of someone and asked what was happening when they were like "oh yeah it's been done the driver will eventually contact you". Ok, silence again. Eventually the driver reached out and said he was coming like 4 days later. No warning just "we'll be there this day between 12 and 2." Well 2pm that day came and went with no driver, no call, no text, no shed, nothing. Frustrated beyond belief we finally texted the driver who then let us know he would be another hour + late. He just didn't bother to tell us, no one did. When he finally came he did everything he could to talk me out of the location I wanted - he wanted to just dump it off in the easiest location possible. Umm no. He had plenty of room, just didn't want to do it I guess. Then wanted a tip.The shed itself is sub par. The siding on the bottom got ripped and torn off in several places as he was setting it up. There are giant nails all over the place just shot thru the plywood into nothing or bent down. The wood is not high grade, in fact it's split and peeling in several places. The double doors were hung crooked so they wouldn't shut correctly, we had to totally redo them. I could go on and on honestly. Nothing, nothing about this shed was built with care or skill. My kids could have put this thing together neater. Surprisingly there was no walk thru, no check list, no "is it okay" before he dropped it off and left. No receipt. No follow up from anyone. No thank you for your business. No one even told us how to make the payments!! We had to email and call them !!!3!!! times before sometime finally gave us a phone# to call and even then they were not helpful. What a huge let down this entire process and company is. We had such high hopes. Next year we'll be having a 20x40 built but will not be using Hickory sheds to do it. They just don't seem to want or need our business and honestly there is no pride, no customer service no value no reason to use them. Every. Single. Step. Was. Awful. Difficult and just... Not good..

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
