I found Ohana Construction on next door neighbor. David is professional, detail oriented and easy to work with. My bathroom renovation was on time and on budget. He talked through the project with me, understanding what I wanted and providing options. He also fixed a number of random things (gutters, electrical outlets, loose railings) that were long overdue to be fixed. I would hire David again without hesitation. I highly recommend Ohana Construction for renovations and general construction needs.

I recommend Dave highly. As a person, he is a joy to work with--thoughtful, responsive, good natured and above all, reasonable. I have a 203 year old 2 family, requiring a multitude of "fixes" in both units--renovation, rehab, and upgrading within a 3 month time frame. He was flexible with adding on things that invariably came up and the work is well done. What he did brightened up and made my unit sparkle and come together to feel almost like a new place. I am very grateful that I found Dave and will continue to call upon him as things come up.

Dave did a fantastic job of remediating my condo when I moved in 4 months ago in late 2023. It was a complex and hard job and he worked consistently for three months to completely remediate the rotten wood and mold that was behind the walls of the basement. He knows so much about all aspects of building so I have used him for plumbing and electrical issues as well. I feel so grateful to have found him. His work is impeccable, very reasonable, and he is a wonderful person to deal with. I referred him to all my friends for renovations and fix it projects and they are equally happy with his work.

Ohana Construction Is Fantastic!

We wanted to have an addition built on the second floor of our cape house.
After receiving a few Quotes that we felt were just too high we got a quote from David.
The quote was much less than the others so we went with him.

From beginning to end everything was flawless. They even did a few things to help us out at no extra charge.

I would recommend Ohana Construction to anyone looking for an affordable & Professional Contractor.

I posted on Facebook looking for a contractor that would work with a somewhat limited budget on a payment plan. I got in touch with Dave, who came to my house and talked about my vision for my porch. I told him what I was looking for but that I knew it would be crazy expensive and I couldn't afford what I really wanted. He gave me different ideas, whereas other contractors just gave me what they wanted to do. He worked with us on cost, was open to any/all questions my dad and I had/have. We made a few adjustments, but we are super excited with the way the porch is coming out. Dave has been great on giving opinions on what we should do. Originally we were going to go with a different siding for the porch, but with a question from my dad regarding that type of siding, Dave suggested we go with the one that will better match the siding of our house.

Meanwhile, due to all the rain we have been having, I noticed some water damage in my upstairs bathroom. Had Dave take a look since he was already at my house. He discovered a water had been leaking into the bathroom for God knows how long and created Black Mold. He started repairs and told me what needs to be fixed. Just waiting to see how much insurance will cover.

I will recommend Dave to anyone looking for a contractor.
