I had a exceptional experience with Ohana construction. Michael was on schedule and attentive to every detail. He followed up on every request no matter how small it was and made sure it was completed to my satisfaction. Even after 2 years, when I had a problem, he addressed it immediately.

Ohana Construction was great on two jobs that they did for me in the past. No problems - painting and roofing. But, as a loyal customer who called and asked about a new job, I have found them to be too busy or whatever to follow up with responses to texts and emails. Thus, my rating of their service has gone from a 5 to a 2.

We needed to get our roof repaired quickly and effectively, so we asked Kathleen's as they'd done good work for us before. Despite the pandemic and bad weather Kathleen and his team have done an excellent job for a reasonable price. I'd certainly recommend them.

Hands down a great company to work with on having repairs done. I contacted Ohana Construction because our roof was falling apart and leaking after 20 plus years of not being worked on or touched. They responded very fast to my call and was very helpful on having someone come out and do inspections. Then the turn around time for them to send out a quote was amazing. Once we got the loan to redo our whole roof. The project was set in motion. They came at the time they said at 8am and when I got home from work they finished the whole project. In one day. The roof looks beautiful and they did amazing work. Javier was our consultant and he was kind and friendly and so helpful. Nothing comes cheap these days and you pay for what you get but if you are looking for a company that does amazing high quality work. They have my full support. They had a full crew , they worked diligently , very professional , no swearing , no vulgar language . They even went around the perimeter of the house after the job was completed and used a magnet on the manicured lawn to pick all the roofing nails that fell to the ground so the mower would not get damaged and avoid someone stepping on them.
I have friends who have used there services , and they recommend Ohana to me.

Ohana Construction now provides EXCELLENT electrical services. After going through three different electricians and waiting 18 months (partly due to covid), Ohana was able to fix my problem in one week. The electrician came, left to do some investigation online and came back and fixed it. Couldn't ask for more! I will definitely recommend to my friends.

Recently we had our house exterior painted by Ohana Construction. We couldn't have been more pleased. Bottom Line--an outstanding result. Over an eight-day period the 4-man painting team transformed our house from one with a dull and worn-out appearance to a home with a bright and lively look using a selection of vibrant colors from Sherwin William’s. They pressure washed the walls; repaired damaged surfaces; removed loose paint; calked the trim; primed stains; protected windows, doors, lights, and cameras; painted the exterior walls, posts, beams, fascia, decks, railings, trim, doors, etc. End State - The exterior of the house looks better now than when we first moved in 19 years ago :-) Recommendation - Go with Ohana Construction for your painting needs.

After a not-so-great experience trying to line up another roofing Contractor, I contacted Ohana and they were exceptional! From the estimate, which was lower than the other contractor, to walking us through the schedule permitting and process of their work, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism. The crew were fast experienced and safe and the workmanship was top notch. We love our new roof and would recommend Ohana to anyone looking for an excellent roofing contractor.

We did a lot of work with Ohana Construction, roofing, solar installation, and some home repairs. This review is on the roofing only. They were quick and efficient. Finished in one day. Javier was very helpful and attentive and checked in on us throughout the entire project. The roof looks beautiful. We had some problems with Ohana unrelated to the roof but like I said Javier was attentive to our needs and this review is for Javier and the roofing arm of Ohana Construction only.

Ohana’s crew was always prompt and professional in the way they conducted themselves. They were efficient and kept the quality of the installation. Small items like finding some of the old fasteners in my yard and cleaning the fine debris out of my existing gutter was pointed out and they followed up promptly. With a number of large downpours that followed, not a leak or a seepage occurred.
I would use them again if I have another opportunity.

It has been 3yrs since the completion of our roofing work with Ohana Construction. We had extensive damage to our roof due to storm related incidents.
From the initial start of inspection, recommendations & completion of job John, Kathleen & their crew were always professional, considerate & very helpful.
Working with them & the insurance company was stress free. We’ve already expirienced several windstorms & heavy rainstorms with the new roofing & it has not given us any problems. There wasn’t any need to call them back because of leaks or shingles being blown away. The quality of the workmanship from Ohana Construction speaks for itself! Construction Crew, supervised onsite by "Karl", followed immediately, the Ohana Restoration Crew and completed all the necessary repairs and new Cabinet Installations with professionalism, quality replacement materials and just a caring attitude about their work. When I needed some work around my skylight, I called Ohana Construction. AJ the estimator came out the following day and thereafter worked with me. Since the weather wasn't cooperating, he updated me daily on their work schedule. Steven who did the actual repair was very efficient. He also went out of his way and vacuumed the debris left behind under the felt pad by the previous roofing company. AJ was also nice enough to take before and after pictures of the work area and email it to me. Terrific job to the both of them.

Ohana Construction really came through for our family. I had 7 companies come out to do quotes. Salesman AJ came to quote for Ohana. He was on time, and courteous. Due to cost, I actually decided to go with another company, when AJ and Dave Pozzi, his manager, called to discuss their initial quote. After we spoke, they made cost adjustments and worked with my budget. For the install, they had a large crew that did a good job. Our roof was a little more involved than they originally thought (more angles and cuts due to the roof lines), so they came back with additional materials to finish the job. AJ came out to check progress, and he walked the job when it was done. We chose an aluminum shake shingle, and we're VERY happy with the results. The roof looks really great, as it was replacing a Monier tile that had a lot of damages due to termite tenting. It's already been raining this season, and I'm so relieved to have a great roof that I won't have to replace again in my lifetime. I would recommend AJ, Dave, and Ohana Construction to anyone who needs a new roof.

I had seen an advertisement of how your roof repairs could be done with no money out of your pocket. Looked into it and met with Tanden, he then inspected my roof and noticed some roof damage mostly due to wind damage over years. He explained the process and got the ball rolling from there on. The process did take some time which is expecting. Long story short, solar was removed, roofing was repaired and solar was reinstalled. Work well done!

I recently had my home re-roofed and used Ohana Construction. AJ was the representative I worked with and he made the process painless and easy. Ohana interfaced with the Insurance company so that I didn't have to and I'm super-happy with the results and my awesome warranty. Ohana had previously done some water remediation work for me and I liked them so much I decided to use them for my roof. Professional and good people.

Unqualified satisfaction! They put a new shake roof on our home about 4 yrs. We were more than happy with the energy, care, courtesy and completion of their work.

The wood shake roof of my parents’ home in Manoa needed to be repaired/replaced. Our selection of Ohana Construction to do the job was based primarily on the comfort level we established with Ohana through our discussions with Dave Pozzi re our options and concerns. Dave was knowledgeable and respectful, and always treated our family like a valued client. Ohana did an excellent job on the roof replacement, and we do not hesitate to recommend this company to family and friends.

I used Ohana because of their reviews and one of the employees was a former Marine. They inspected my damaged roof, took photos and sent the photos to my insurance company. I was approved for a new roof. They came out, made friends with my Pit Bull and made sure he was comfortable in the whole process of putting on a new roof that only took ONE DAY. I was concerned about the nails on the ground, but there again they were spot on, in a superior clean up and made sure no nails in the dog kennel. Now you can hire someone else yes, and I suggest you shop around, but in the end if you don’t go with Ohana, BAMM you loose!!! That’s right you loose!! No I didn’t get paid for my words, I’m coming from the heart, Ohana cares!!!! So my name is Walt, and we got to pick out our color of roof and best of all they do all the paperwork for the Association’s. That’s right no mess no fuss they do it all. So if whatever you need they got with the Aloha Spirit, and no slow work due to Covid19. So I STRONGLY suggest and recommend a Ohana Construction!!!

Ohana Construction, AJ Doerr and Dave, did a great job for us from start to finish. We had wind storm damage to our roof, and they came out promptly to inspect the roof, and got us a quote quickly. They worked with our insurance company, and scheduled and completed the work in a very reasonable amount of time. Their installation team was professional and completed the job in one day. AJ did a great job of explaining to us the whole process and our options. We would definitely recommend them; no negatives, only positive to report.

In 2017, I had my whole house reroofed by Ohana Construction. They were fast, efficient and took great care in cleaning up after they had completed the job. The materials they used were of the highest quality.
Now in 2023 with all the high winds and rain we’ve been experiencing here in Hawaii, my roof from Ohana looks as good as the day it was installed. I used to worry a lot about leaks from my roof but no longer do because of the work done by Ohana. Because of the quality of their workmanship and roofing materials used to reroof my house, I am not concerned about my roof leaking again which gives me a real peace of mind.

Working with Ohana Construction was one of the best experiences I had.
My roof was in dire need of repair after several 2017/2018 storms. All I had to do was provide my insurance information and Ohana Construction representative did the rest.
Within 3 weeks, I not only received a check from the insurance company but had a new roof. There’s a 7 year workmanship plus a 30 year warrantee for the roof system from the manufacturer.
The hardest decision I had to make was choosing the color of my new roof.

These guys 'rock'. Great creatives ideas, uncompromising craftsmanship, good listeners, problem solvers and all-round a great company to deal with.

It's impossible these days to find honest and a thoughtful company such as Ohana Const. is. I had to communicate long distance from Nevada to Hawaii to have my roof etc. done in Mililani, Kathy and John kept me fully informed and I'm grateful for their expertise and their sharing of my concerns. Ohana construction workers were punctual and considerate while working on the roofs of my house. Hope the new roof can withstand the winds of hurricane Douglas tomorrow which will be the real test of their workmanship.

We had a serious leak on the metal roof at our retail store, causing water damage. I called and Dave came out the next day, emailed a quote to our landlord and had the roof repaired within 2 days.
