The agent I partnered with, who I set up referrals through, has yet to receive payment — which means I still haven’t been paid either. The lack of communication and accountability from this company has been extremely disappointing. I’ve made several attempts to get answers, even reaching out to the owner directly, but no one seems willing to help or provide any resolution. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company — especially to the local community. Definitely not the Aloha spirit you would expect. Proceed with caution

This company is a complete scam! They promised high-quality solar panels and professional installation, but what I got was a disaster. The system barely works, and when I called them for support, they ignored my calls and emails. Now I'm stuck with a useless system and no way to get help. Stay far away!

Oceanic Home Solar did a great job uninstalling and reinstalling my PV and Solar water heating systems while my home was being reroofed. They were exceptionally responsive and professional in the way they conduct themselves. The systems began to function at 100% immediately after they completed their work. COO Spencer Hassell and his team deserves a big thumbs up. I would recommend them to anyone without reservations.

Spencer and his partner were very professional and direct, which is perfect because I don't like ridiculous jargon and unanswered questions. They went above and beyond to explain what they found and they came up with various solutions. They helped me more in one day than Tesla could in four years. Don't look for anyone else when it comes to solar!

The "unfixable" panels on my home were somehow cobbled together by Oceanic Home Solar. They are responsive and clearly know what they're talking about. It was a wait worth waiting.

Spencer and his incredible crew did an outstanding job.
First, our solar water panels were leaking really bad on the roof. Spencer (due to the water flowing off of the roof)being really busy, made special arrangements to respond to my emergency within days and replaced the solar panels and piping.
While changing the panels he did notice the water heater in a poor condition. Sure enough it started leaking bad.
Second, Spencer made special arrangements again to replace the heater with all of the components. They worked from 8:00am to 7:00pm!

Bought an old house with an outdated solar system. Contacted several major solar companies to see if they can upgrade my system but they were only interested in selling me a new bigger expensive system. Finally I was able to hook up with Spencer and his crew to upgrade my outdated system. They were very respectful and friendly. They worked with me every step of the way. I highly recommend Spencer and his tm for your next solar project.

I called yesterday and someone was here this afternoon to check my solar system. They are very knowledgeable. Spencer spent a good amount of time checking my system and updating. He also walked me through my Tesla app and his diagnostics. I appreciate the responsiveness of the group.

This review is for Go Solar Hawaii which is what Oceanic Home Solar used to go by. The sales pitch and initial feel of the local support from this company was great but that quickly deteriorated when they completed the install. My AC system consists of two outside units which feed my bedroom and living room units. After they completed the panel install and switched the power on my bedroom units kept showing an error relating to a circuit error which never happened before. This went on for weeks and Go Solar sent an electrician and AC tech out to troubleshoot. Each said that nothing is wrong yet my ACs still didn’t function properly. My living room unit is currently not functioning at all. They kept saying they will get down to the issue but after months (April 2023 install) of no follow-ups, ignored texts, emails and no responses, I get the hint. Find another solar company who will treat you better. Thought this local company was it but they clearly have only one thing on their mind.
