The Kapili team was great to work with. They came out right away to look at our job and sent our proposal fast. They walked us through the process and got the job done sooner than expected. A roof is a big ticket item. Kapili took the worry and stress out of our need for a new roof! Glad we chose to work with them!

I appreciate all the work the guys at kapili has done. They arrived on time and they all worked really well together and always cleaned up each day. They even continue cleaning in the rain pour. Each morning their dump truck arrived so they always took the rubbish away. Awesome job guys. Oh they were always courteous.

As a retired couple and homeowners we were pleased and fortunate to have Kapili Solar Roofing & Painting re-roof our home.

We conducted an extensive search for the right company to meet our needs and comply with our HOA requirements.

After evaluating several quotes we settled on two well known roofing companies which were close in their pricing but we had questions about the project that needed to be addressed before entering into a contract.

We live in a condominium that has a shared roof and was 32 years old and was due for replacement. We sat down with our neighbor and discussed the various issues we had and asked for their input. We proceeded to pose our questions and concerns to both finalists and the Kapili team representative came back with the
best responses and explanation that sealed the deal with our neighbor and ourselves.

Kapili has a unique way of keeping the homeowners informed of every step of the project from a pre-check list of items to help us prepare for day one of the project to the final inspection of the finished work.

It's important to us to mention here the names of the team that did the work;Keone G., Brandon P., Rod P., JaShawn W., Patolo, Michael F. C. ... these young men always came on time, cleaned the work area at the end of each of the four days it took to
complete the project. Polite, hard-working and professional are the most important traits these team members demonstrated.

to inspect and provide an estimate, then it was the Customer Support, Planning, Production and Installation. We were impressed by their actions and final outcome of the project.

Kapili finished replacing my leaky roof in February 2024. They did a great job and so far as I can tell, all the leaks are gone! The team was very professional and I felt well informed throughout the whole process. I really appreciated the care they took replacing rotted areas they found and coming back to paint some areas as needed. Their picture sharing tool let me keep eyes on what was going on and I can see the before and after pictures for my project. I'd highly recommend them and would use them again when I need any roof work done.

From the appraisal to the end, Kapili did a fabulous job; keeping us informed about the progress; the roof came out better than we thought; the workers were competent and polite and hard working; when they left, the place looked better than before; I would highly recommend this company; their professionalism is top notch! Kapili was wonderful with installing our new roof. They worked directly with our HOA to get the project going and handled everything until the day of installation. The process was very professional. Along with drone photos before and after the job, the two day job was painless. We are very satisfied with our overall experience with Kapili. Out of all the companies we received quotes from, they had the most thorough pre-inspection and documentation for any deficiencies prior to the start of work. Their level of communication was appreciated as well. When the team arrived, they finished the bulk of work on our roof in 2 days. There were a few termite-damaged eaves that were taken care of by a singular worker, Eli. His final inspection was thorough as well because he found a few more rotten eaves and repaired them. He then proceeded to tap test every plank to make sure there was no remaining damage. The price of our project was fair. We can’t recommend this company enough.

Kapili accommodated me as always and made sure everything was completed properly and on time. I always use them and have no plans on switching roofing subs.

We had to get our roof repaired due to damage from a leaking solar water heater system or A/C drain. Kapili roofing was the only (of 4) companies to even get back to us.

The project was organized in October of 2023, and scheduled for completion in March of 2024. The project cost was around $10,000.

Each step of the process was handled very well. The scheduled work only really took one day (8 hours), but there were some issues with material delivery, so it stretched across two workdays.

All of the employees I dealt with were very polite.

We also had Kapili do an estimate for cleaning our PV and Solar water panels. The technician stated that the PV panels didn't need to be cleaned, and the solar panels would be coming off the roof during the repair. So he recommended that we just clean them ourselves at that time. After cleaning the panels, I've noticed that we've had a much better hot water supply.

All of the staff were very helpful throughout the whole process from start to finish. If anyone needs to get their roof and solar done, go with Kapili.

The guys at Kapili Roofing did an excellent job from the planning stage to execution of my reroof project, Quignon and Kawai did the planning and scheduling, Mario was the crew leader and did an excellent job, they even had Elijah, their quality assurance tech come out after the job was complete to make sure the job was completed properly and Brendan, called to make sure that I was satisfied without any complaints.

My experience with kapili was not very please due to veriuous reasons.All werbal promises and discussions were ignored.Project was delayed 3 times.Twice due to weather .I didn't have an issue with that reson.
But 3rd time delayed 2 weeks after promise (after receiving test results) date by salesman. Roof was temporarily covered with plastic.I spoke with management over 45 minutes to convince the inconvenience. He completely ignored my plea. But sale person said he had enough employees and can start as soon as the test results.
This promise was denied by owner blaming the employee instead satifising customer.I was very disappointed, he didn't cared.
After 2 weeks they satrated the construction. Due to additional work it took extra time.(I agreed)Cleaning was very poor. I had to call 3 times to finish cleaning. There was a small leak due to sheets settings. Once they came and adjusted. Still had a issue.They blame for the original construction.
I have to find someone to fix the issue.It took a about 10 days with all additional work and cleaning. They said they will paint where new wood replace area after I pay full payment as a courtesy. Did not happen.
Roof looks like a unfinished ugly roof.
There was a miscommunication with regards payments,but I paid everything I was agreed by the documents. Everything I mentioned on here are true. Same information I have on my emails.which I was expected to settle as a courtesy.
Unfoutenelly didn't happen. Any ones need prof what I wrote I can provide.
My advice to readers, ask everything in writing before signing.To finish all these took me one month. I am completely frustrated and unhappy.

Very pleased with the work done to paint the exterior of my home. The process from initial contact to receiving a quote to the actual work done was smooth and the communication throughout the various phases of the project was thorough and easy to understand. We can't speak highly enough for this outstanding organization. We started our journey with Kapili after storm damage to our roof. We had a very long process with approval from our HOA but Kapili stood beside us the entire 2 years helping in every way possible. Shout out to Jon Chun for keeping in communication with us the entire journey. After approval, Kapili moved swiftly with roof and solar installation. We couldn't believe that the roofers completed the project in 2 1/2 days. They were so professional and approachable with any questions or concerns on our part. Paint came next...all we can say is WOW. This small team Eli, Austin, and Tyler were outstanding!! They worked side by side with us and continually communicated with us. We had guests at the time and they assured airflow into their rooms at the end of each day as we don't have a/c. Our lead Eli was unfortunately in an accident and hasn't been able to see the finished product as of yet, however his remaining team of Austin and Tyler were so well trained that the project was completed without delay. Inspection was completed after each project and we were so pleased with his professional manner and the small gifts we received each time as a thank you from Kapili. We highly recommend Kapili for all of your roofing, solar, and paint projects. We are so grateful to have worked with such an amazing company!! Mahalo for giving us our forever home back

From start to finish, top shelf job. Good explanation of the best roof to put on to replace the old one. Excellent communication throughout the whole project. Great friendly crew answered questions or referred me to Jon. Follow up Inspection was frosting on the cake.

The painting crew consisting of Eli (foreman), Tyler and Travis were very friendly and respectful. They were tasked with painting our faded window frames. Most importantly, they did an excellent job of applying the primer, base and finish coats of paint. The end result made our window frames look brand new again!

Kapili Roofing,Service provided clogged gutter. I didn’t know my gutter was clogged until the big rain that happened on 11-29-23. I immediately googled for a company who cleans gutters and came upon Kapili Roofing. I called and spoke to Anthony who was very helpful and understanding. I explained my problem and without hesitation he scheduled an appointment with one of their field technicians. Within 2 to3 hours the technician came and cleaned out my gutter and found a ball that was clogging the gutter. The technician who’s name is Ethan was very nice, helpful and easy to talk with. The customer service that I experienced that day was unbelievable because from the time I called to explain my problem and for someone to come out and clean my gutter took only 3 and 1/2 hours. And considering it was raining pretty hard I don’t think if I called another company I would have gotten the quick response and help that I got from the caring and competent staff at Kapili Roofing. Team was polite and professional for the install. Entire roof done in two days. They noted our solar attic fans were inoperative and worked quickly to resolve that with us. Cleaned up our property and even next door when the work was complete. Roof looks great. Senior supervisor returned a day or two later for a thorough check of the team’s work.

Joshua and his team were awesome. They came out to do an estimate very quickly from when I put in my inquiry. They were very detailed in explaining the process and potential things that could come up.

When the estimate came in I was called to let me know it would be emailed and there would be a video attachment (so I could be ready for it). When I opened the email the video I got was far above what I was expecting. Joshua went over the estimate line by line like I was in the office with him.

Although we went another direction for our project they will definitely be referred to my friends and top of my list of I need to do it again.

Although it took many months from first contact to actual work done, the wait was worth it.
One major misunderstanding resulted in the patio being covered with debris from removal of shingles on the roof. One worker had asked if house had a ceiling and i said, Yes but neglected to tell him that the patio had no ceiling. My daughter had to clean up all the debris in the patio.
The roof looks great and i appreciate the workers working on the dog house roof.
