Ocean State Slate Roofing

I bought an old house with a 100+ yr old slate roof and had some issues early on. I contacted OSSR to come diagnose the issues. They’ve done a ton of work on my roof. They replaced the copper pieces at the angle changes, replaced missing/broken slate shingles, they’ve replaced the copper at the peak, and fully repaired part of my mudroom roof that was leaking. They also replaced a small section of asphalt shingles. John and Jared are 100% reliable, honest, and they communicate well. They do EXCELLENT and efficient work.

I can't say how much I enjoyed the experience of having OSSR install my new slate roof. Their professionalism and craftsmanship are top notch. It was like watching 19th century artisans in real life! They were clean, courteous, and most importantly did exactly what they said they would do.

Ocean State Slate Roofing - fantastic company to work with, from start to finish! We'd highly recommend! If you've tried to find people who really know how to work with slate roofing, slate people are hard to find - and this is a specialty of theirs - so they were knowledgeable, thorough and took care of things the right way. Not only that, they carefully tended to the wooden gutters, repairing them as needed, another skill that is hard to find. Years of experience they bring with them, plus they are easy to work with, considerate and conscientious on the worksite. Excellent clean up afterwards as well. Definitely call them if you have a slate roof project in the RI area.
