NT General Construction

Nick built us a shelter for our horses/goats. He did an amazing job, attention to details for sure. Sam (Nicks wife/project manager) walked us through every step. Very sturdy and nice to look at. Thank you both!!

NT General Contractors removed two single-window unit bay windows and reconstructed new bay window systems to include 3 windows in each bay. There was a lot of demo and reconstruction both outside and inside. This company is amazing, professional going above and beyond to assure the highest quality of workmanship. They are considerate of your surroundings, cleaning up after themselves. They discuss every step of the job as they go and are there at the time that they say they will be there. You cannot go wrong if you hire them to do a project for you. I will recommend them to anyone who asks if I know of a contractor. You cannot go wrong with NT General Construction. I feel like they are an extended family now.

This should have been a 5 star review but 2 stars for the job that wasn’t done is probably to many. I have put off writing this review because what they did and how they did it still stings Putting our faith and trust in NT Construction to help us prepare our home for our retirement years was a big mistake.
Our remodel was for the kitchen and only bathroom. I ended up going with homedepot cabinets because the custom cabinet company they wanted us to use was out of our budget. Apparently that was biggest mistake.
There were set backs due to that. Most from Home Depot some from Nick. (Who excepts zero accountability) Nick got frustrated with simple delays like drywall not drying fast enough ( there was plenty of other work he could have done while it dried) and walked off the job but not before bringing Sam (wife and project manager) over out of the blue to unload their frustration in the most unprofessional way. Blindsiding me, Budget shaming, humiliating and demeaning me for choosing to go with Home depot. Which is where they sent me after not choosing the expensive custom cabinets. Apparently it was all my fault as well they had to work other less paying filler jobs while waiting for countertop install. They had plenty of work they could have done here btw. We did understood they had other jobs in the works and didn’t rush them. Even going without a shower and bathroom down to the studs for over 3 weeks. The kitchen remodel much longer. Although not fun we were grateful for the work they were doing when they could do it.
I think it was just to much and to overwhelming for Nick to handle. However, Treating me they way they did before he left was all so unexpected and the most unprofessional, disappointing experience I have have ever had.
Making a home owner feel their job is unimportant and not worth it, being told that they had a bigger better job to do while venting your frustration on the homeowner is no way to do business. I thought they were going to adjust the estimate, which would have been fine and not unexpected but they just walked not even taking or coming back for tools because that would be to awkward. His words. Very juvenile behavior.
How you treat people matters!
I don’t know if Nick is capable of doing a job like ours was. Which was pretty straight forward. I think he could have done a good job but can’t handle the stress. Parts of it for sure were beyond the scope of his experience. The rough in’s and initial work were just fine and he did little things to ease the disruption and seemed to be considerate of our budget. Which were appreciated.
I can’t speak to any finish work as he didn’t complete any.
Having to find another contractor right at Thanksgiving was stressful but we did and the work was completed the week before Christmas which was a miracle.

After we bought our house and realized there were some issues that needed to be repaired we called NT Construction and they were able to help us repair our flooring and our master bathroom shower fixtures! Reasonable prices and great service!! Definitely recommend!!

Nick is absolutely the best!!! He’s a perfectionist when it comes to his work. His prices are very reasonable and he is reliable. I recommended him to some friends and they are thrilled and happy they now have a handyman who is honest and reasonable. The work he did for me included installing a vinyl privacy fence, plumbing, installed a new utility sink, a new ceiling light fixture and a kitchen remodel. The kitchen remodel saved me $10,000. He is a gem!

NT Construction built a cedar fence for me. Did a beautiful job and even my neighbor said it was the straightest fence he has seen. Nick used great materials and was finished ahead of schedule. A very nice person to say the least. And his quality of workmanship is great. He will be back in the future for more work.

We had this company do a remodel on utility/laundry area in our home. They did excellent job that I love. They were on time, pleasant, and made sure everything was the way we wanted every step of the way. Thanks so much!!

Nick and Sam are amazing to work with. They helped us through some permitting hurdles and have been so patient with us as we navigate the build of our canning kitchen. We appreciate you guys!

Friendly, competent, and responsive contractor. Installed siding and trim on my home. Replaced one sliding glass door, removed large window, installed a new sliding glass door in it's place, remodeled barn, extensive pasture fencing, etc. Would highly recommend.
