After growing up in the masonry, construction business, and being from the East Coast, I was spoiled at the amount of great talent in this field. I recently hired a masonry contractor to build two driveway columns to accentuate a lovely wrought iron style entry gate to my property. The contractor that I hired was completely inept and unable to do the work, and took several months to do two simple footings, (Incorrectly) If you could believe it. He was full of excuses, over promised and under-delivered.
After discussing my dismay with my neighbor, he recommended heritage masonry. Doug showed up on time for the initial estimate he was personable. He was courteous and extremely professional and focused. He told me he could do the work immediately and that he would Remain on site until the project was completed and he did just that. He was full of ideas and worked with me to realize the vision that I had for this project. Needless to say that I was completely impressed with not only the quality of the work that Doug performed at my property, but the rate of speed at which he was able to accomplish this perfection. Doug and his daughter Chloe are an outstanding team and I would highly recommend that anyone who is contemplating a masonry project to forget the rest and call the best at Heritage Masonry. Absolutely the (BEST) work!
I like that Doug explained the process and helped me find the color of brick I desired. Your able to contact him by text with any questions and he gets back with you almost immediately. He even goes the extra mile in protecting your home during your chimneys demolition. It only took him one day for our demolition, he takes all materials away so you don’t have to worry about a dump run or clean up & the second day was for about an hour for the top and touch ups. He’s got skill!!

Our block chimney had numerous cracks along with the clay liner. I got a recommendation from the chimney sweep and another one from a local woodstove shop. They were both the same. Heritage Masonry. I was told Doug does excellent work but he's booked out for months. I called him anyhow. He gave us a decent bid and worked us in on a rainy week since most of our tear down and rebuild was inside our two -story house. Doug is honest, professional, and a true craftsman. We highly recommend him.

Doug is a nice man to work with. He backs up his estimate with pictures of what he is talking about so your mind is at ease with his suggestions. I had two estimates and his was not only cheaper but he was more professional. The work was scheduled and completed promptly. He took pictures throughout his work to show you what he was doing and answered all of my questions. He left our tarp and ratchet strap (which we had covering our leaky chimney) folded up nicely after he was finished. He fixed our chimney cap, redid the flashing and sealed our brick. I would recommend him and his excellent work to anyone.

We had damaged flue tiles in our brick chimney. Doug came out (promptly and on time) to inspect and offered a reasonable bid... that also included tearing down the brick chimney to the roofline, and rebuild and clean-up. For the amount of work, the bid was very reasonable. Doug did a beautiful job on matching the brick original brick... downright artistic !
Here's a clue to the kind of guy he is: One morning he tapped on the front door: he'd accidently broken an irrigation sprinkler head.. and had already arranged for a plumber to come out to repair it at his expense. Great professional to work with ! We enthusiastically recommend Heritage Masonry.
