Diego and company constructed a new walkway along our lake waterfront after losing two clumps of trees which ripped up the bank. They did an amazing job which was done with high quality, extremely quickly and efficiently, and at an excellent price point.

They were extremely responsive and flexible working with us to do the job at the best time for us. Diego even delivered the materials to the job site via boat...saving time, money and many sore backs.

This was a non-trivial project requiring pin pilings to be driven into the ground the entire way to provide the foundation for the entire frame.

We are extremely pleased with everything about the work and process with Diego and company and would highly recommend them for any job.

Diego and his crew did an excellent job on the remodeling the exterior of our house. They replaced the roof, gutters & downspouts, the siding and also installed the handrail on the front porch. They did all this in a timely manner even with all the rains. They did an awesome job and if we need anything else done on the property we will definitely be using them again.

Diego and his crew were incredible they poured a driveway and patio for me and were very fair with pricing. Excellent work and the most honest contractor you’ll come by. We first walked the property and figured out what I wanted then he made sure it would happen. After they poured the concrete we had made a plan to install a dryer vent and it didn’t work out the way I wanted but he called and explained we couldn’t route it the original discussed plan because of how the floor joists were run. We agreed to renegotiate price because the job changed to be more simple so he told me to name my new price and he felt I was still too high so he countered my offer with a lower one. Diego proved his integrity and character by how he treated me as a customer and was brilliant. He Stayed in communication with me and has a Very professional crew and site supervisor (Brock). Diego was recommended to me by his brother and they are really honest businessman. I would HIGHLY recommend Pacific Northwest Contracting to anyone looking to hire the right person for the job first.

I used Pacific Northwest Contracting for a massive remodel at my boutique motel! They did awesome, and totally understood the aesthetic I was going for! A lot of traditional contractors don’t get my designs, so it was nice to work with a company who really wanted to see my vision come to life. They were really fast and dedicated to my project throughout!

Diego and his crew were professional; they came when they said they would. They worked with us when the outcome wasn't what we expected and completed the job as we wanted. Grass seed was spread late in the season so I cannot confirm what it looks like but I'm confident they will return, as they've committed to, in the spring to make sure the grass looks good.

Diego and his team showed up to my place to add some cement landscape curbing. They already did a nice job at my neighbors so I called them to do mine. He offerd to install sprinklers, and I thought about it for the day and agreed. He did both jobs together, and was in out in about 3 days. A team member showed me how he aimed them, checked coverage and how to prep them for winter. They left the fitting on for the air compressor on the line so it’s easy to clear the line before freezing sets in. I have 3 zones installed, with a timer. The team is efficient communicates well and they are very professional. Highly recommend, will post a pic.

We couldn’t be more happier with all aspects of the service that was provided to us by Pacific NW Contracting. They were friendly and reasonable. Initially, they were unable to get us in the schedule for weeks out. However, they were super accommodating and were able to fit us in within days! They arrived on time, explained what they were doing, and did great work! Highly recommended!

Pacific NW contracting is a father and son team; the son runs the
business. I had a water problem on a hill sloping to the house, and there were some water problems on two other sides of the house. The father looked at it and suggested a retaining wall around 3 sides of the house. He said there would be a fabric behind the wall in the shape of a J, and inside the bottom of the J he would put a french drain. The water coming down the hill would hit the fabric and be diverted down to the french drain, where it would be carried away from the house. I spent about 30000 on this. The winter after it was put in, I did not see any water coming out of the french drain. In the spring I contacted
the father again. He had told me several times he would stand behind his work. I told him I thought the water was bypassing the french drain and coming under the footing. In fact a hole in the ground showed water gushing under the footing and cutting into the french drain showed it was dry. He did not take responsibility for his work. He said he had done everything correctly according to code. Finally he said he would hire an
engineer to look at it, and they would verify if it was to code.
But the son said he would not hire an engineer because he had
no more money to spend on this project. At one point, he told me I was responsible for their work since I accepted their bid. The son wanted out and we agreed on a final settlement of 5000, since he said he could not afford any more. Then a few days later, he said he would not pay me 5000 and instead he wanted to "fix" it; he felt somehow that he was being "cheated" by paying me 5000. He said he had contacted an engineer who was a friend. She said the soil in that area was clay, and clay soil does not drain, explaining the failure of the french drain. So they had not understood any of this. But the fixes he proposed had the same problems as the existing french drain. He did not learn
anything from his mistake. And at this point, our relationship had deteriorated and I did not want him on my property. Another problem was that they connected slotted pipe to the downspouts; then the slotted pipe was connected to the slotted
french drain. This makes no sense at all. These people do not do good work; they do not care about their work; they do not stand behind their work. These people seem to be con artists solely interested in money, with techniques of mobsters: lies, manipulation, and threats. In addition, some of their employees stole a lot of good lumber from my property, and I believe this was witnessed and condoned by the father.

Response to owner claims:

What happened was very simple. I only saw your father during the bidding process, not you. You were busy building your house
and did not really care about this project. I said I wanted the water problem on the hill fixed. He suggested a french drain behind a block wall on 3 sides of the house. During the ensuing winter I discovered the french drains did not work. So my $30000 was wasted and you did not take responsibility for it. It's that simple.

You say you did my project over 3 years ago. But my house closed on 6/9/2022 so this is impossible.

When your father came back in the spring I suggested cutting a trench sideways down the hill to divert water from going
under the existing french drain; this took less than an hour. Your father scoffed at this idea but this did work and was used to show the french drain was not working; this took about an hour. Some other work was done which took a few hours. None of this substitutes for a working french drain on 3 sides of the house which I contracted for and paid almost $30000 for.

After you had told me angrily about 10 times that you did not do anything wrong, after you had been threatening and aggressive, and after you suggested two fixes that demonstrated you had learned nothing from the failure of your french drain, no I did not want you to come back and be on my property.

Your recounting of the $5000 is a lie; it happened as stated
in my review.

Diego and his crew are the best in the business, they built a beautiful ramp for my grandma to be able to access her house without having to use the stairs. They also do all the lawn care at my house and I am always very pleased with their hard work! Could not recommend them enough.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. If they say they’ll be there at 8:00, they’re there at 8:00. Professional, top quality and their product is always better than what was asked for. They’ve done repeated work on our property. We’ll use them again without hesitation.

PNW contracting returned to frame the interior of my dome AS WELL AS aiding in the installation of both interior and exterior triangles. This was a complex framing job due to the constantly changing angles and lengths of the dome. They were exceptional. You couldn’t get a better crew.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
