Initially I was impressed with this young company. But, months after spray foam insulation and fire rated paint were installed in my horse barn, the paint began bubbling up and falling off in chunks.

The Company’s offer to repaint the current problem areas (ten+ areas 4inches to 1.5 foot wide) would be worthy of consideration for a one-time product failure in a controlled situation. Our situation involves an ongoing product failure over several months, with no end in sight, as new sections continue to crack and peel. The company cannot explain the exact reason for the current product failure, nor control if or when the paint will cease detaching from the insulation.

This gives me no confidence that any newly applied paint will be free from the same problems, or that other areas will continue problem free in the future.

The paint does not work. It will not perform as intended and has become a health risk to my animals. Consequently, it provides no value to my barn. And now I, unexpectedly, must install a barrier to protect my animals and their food from the peeling paint.

I suggested a resolution with a refund of the paint application in the amount of $3,500 so I can create a barrier between the paint and my animals. If I pursued full repair of the original job with another vendor, the cost would be significantly more.

The response from the company is that that due to the discount I received for paying with cash, their work is not covered by any warranties. I am an attorney, and this is not accurate or legally sound reasoning, and it is also not supported by any documentation for the services.

I have not received a response to my most recent attempt to resolve this matter on October 9.

Got a bid from two vendors on Thumbtack for my tiny insulation job, Nova came in at the best price. They offered to squeeze me in right away before a big project they had but I wasn’t quite ready. So they estimated about 3 more weeks to get me in. When those 3 weeks were up, THEY reached out to me first! That NEVER happens! Did a fantastic job too - good thick spray, clean area after. Super friendly. Would definitely call them in the future.

I used them to insulate my garage wall. Overall I had a great experience starting from the estimate process to completion.

They were out to quote the project quickly, and actually identified the root cause which was different then I thought. Day of service there was a huge snowstorm and they were great about communicating timing. Workers got there, were very professional and I’ve never seen a cleaner job site at the end of a project. A great hire!
