I can confidently highly recommend Noel Design Build for any project you may be thinking about pursuing! This is based on them possessing an all too rare combination of experience, integrity and value. They bumped up the front part of my historic row home attic to create working shop space as well as added structural steel in the middle of the house for the base of a roof deck. This project was extremely complicated needing to extend the party walls higher, build the new roof structure over the old and then remove the old after the new roof was water-tight plus drop all of the many structural steel beams very carefully into place from a crane on the street below. They made the challenging logistics of getting all materials up to the roof level and waste brought down look easy. All went extremely well starting in design, into permitting and through construction. James the owner is also very personally talented at quickly troubleshooting any unanticipated issue that might arise as projects unfold and guiding his contractors through implementation of the solution.

James Noel is a gifted designer and builder with a talented team. Noel Design Build added an extension to renovate our kitchen and powder room and add a coat room. James was wonderful to work with throughout the design process and the many decision points during construction. He was able to take my husband's and my ideas, add his own highly developed aesthetic, bring in professional crews and subcontractors, and give us a rejuvenated home. The structural engineer was expert. The work crews left the job site orderly and tidy at the end of every day. We've undertaken several remodeling projects, and never have we felt more confident in a contractor. Years later the renovated spaces are still beautiful and look fresh. James is trustworthy, skilled, and knowledgeable. I would work with him and his company again.
