Called for an estimate on a new roof and some soffit work that I needed done. Dan was here the same day. Great guy to work with. Give me a really fair price. During Halloween when we had strong winds my fascia had blown off. I reached out to Patricio and without hesitation his crew arrived Within a matter of minutes they had fixed my issue. Not only does it look better then before the accuracy affordability speed and workmanship was the best I have ever experienced. Definitely going to call them again for upcoming work on my home. My boyfriend noticed a spot on his ceiling and was concerned that he had a roof leak, so he called Nico Roofing & Exteriors with some questions. He talked to someone on the phone, and then afterwards sent a photo of the spot. The gentleman on the phone said that it looked like "ice damming" but someone could come out the next day (a Saturday) to take a look.
The next day, Daniel came out to look at my boyfriend's roof. Daniel took a look at the roof and confirmed that it was ice damming, and gave my boyfriend a few options for repairing, or told him he could leave it and it would be fine.
Nico Roofing came out for free and would not accept any money for the diagnosis. My boyfriend really appreciated that!

I contacted Nico roofing and Daniel came out for an inspection. He reviewed my issue, explained the issue to me in a very professional mannar. He was very knowledgeable and clearly laid out my options. I will defintly be going to them for my roofing needs and have already recommended them to my friend who needs roof repair.

Nico Roofing saved our butts! This company is amazing. We paid another roofing company a down payment of $11,000 and they literally disappeared with our money. We still needed our roof done but, as you might imagine, we were very skeptical after that first experience. Our new roof cost $40,000 and we couldn’t afford another misstep.

Luckily, Nico Roofing was doing a roofing job on the house next door. We took a chance with them and it was one of the best decisions we ever made! They were knowledgeable, professional and timely. They guided us through the process and we got everything we needed to get our new roof.

We had an excellent experience with Nico Exteriors and Roofing. We replaced our old roof and also had some work on a post near the front door. Bob Earl was our project manager. He did a comprehensive job explaining the options for the roof replacement. He reviewed the roof after installation to make ensure perfect installation. He also helped us reinstall one of our gutter extensions. I would most definitely request Bob Earl on my next project with Nico. I was particularly impressed with his dedication to customer satisfaction.

I had a great experience with Nico with a full roof replacement. They weren't the cheapest bid but they were hands down the most professional during the bid process and did a fantastic job with the installation. From what I can tell, they stand by their work and I am looking forward to a siding project in the future.

I had gone through with many roofing companies before I had picked Nice roofing. I heard about him through my friend who lives in the same Neighbourhood. I had many other roofing companies who were not able to get the Insurance to pay for my roof. But at last it was resolved by Patrick who is the owner of Nice roofing.
The whole process was done very well thanks to the whole team.

I asked them to replace the roof. After they sent someone to do an estimate, they said they could help me file a claim with my insurance company. They took the insurance information and filled out the form. Three months have passed and they haven't answered my calls or text messages. Please don't waste your time choosing this company!

The roof itself is fine, good, but the whole experience I had with Nico I was constantly frustrated about the whole process.

Lots of lack of communication but what really upset me was how they treated my property. Smashed some bushes, dug up some of the lawn with large tracks.. I know that there will be nails left over after a job but there was literal garbage EVERYWHERE, I am still finding nails and scrap metal, they knocked over a box of nails in my garden and didn't even pick it up. One nail pierced my shoe sole the other day.

I found a nail just sitting on our concrete patio in the open. It's like they didn't even do a walkaround afterwards.

But what REALLY upset me was they smoked and threw the cigarette butts all over my lawn. Everywhere. I called to complain and to be fair Nico offered to come clean it up but by then it had been a week+ and I had already cleaned up their literal trash and litter.

They did a good job with the insurance claim and the roof looks nice but... I am tired of paying contract crews time and effort and making excuses for their poor work ethic. I worked construction I know how to walk a site after a job.

I paid $16k but felt like I got $1k service.

Salesman was knowledgeable and oversaw construction. Crew was fast and hard working. This is our second home that we have used this company for and both experiences were excellent

I asked Daniel to come out and inspect my roof that was recently rebuilt. He was fantastic to work with and answered all my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend Daniel for any roofing work.

I tried for over a month to gather quotes for our siding job. I couldn’t get anyone to reply to me or call me back in a timely manner or I didn’t get a sense of professionalism. I got great vibes from Bogdan right away, so although Nico wasn’t the lowest quote I got, my gut told me to go with Nico and I’m so glad we did! We LOVE how the house and garage turned out. It is exactly what I pictured in my mind when we started talking about it. Nico made everything incredibly easy too. Seamless, really. 10/10. Would recommend.

Daniel was really great! He did a thorough inspection of our roof and provided us a very detailed explanation of his findings. He went out of his way to do this all while it started raining. Holy Smokes were we blown away by their customer service, professionalism,& keeping their commitment. I had a toy bottle rocket stuck in the gutter of my roof & spoke with a few roofing companies and most would charge North of $120 minimum just to come out plus labor to remove it for me, somehow I also called Nico's Roofing they returned my missed call, I asked them for a quote and he came out and removed it gratis the same day!!!! WOW didn't know such honest and genuine businessmen are still on this planet, they have a customer for life in me and wish them all the best in the interim.

I hired Nico Roofing a few years ago to replace our entire roof. The whole process was smooth, great communication, dealt well with my insurance company, installation went smoothly! Patryk was great to work with! We had many shingles missing from our roof due to the storms, but our house was built in 2015 so that shouldn’t have happened. Patryk came out in the Fall and looked at our entire roof and saw that the contractor who put on the shingles did a very bad job. He filed with the insurance for them to replace the entire roof. In the meantime, he came and put tarps in the area where the shingles were missing so we would not have any damage in the house due to other weather while we waited for the insurance company to approve our claim. Patryk was very responsive anytime I called him and was able to get a full roof replacement approved. He scheduled us asap to replace the roof and his crew did a great job! He came as a referral from a friend and I would highly recommend him as well to anyone.

When our garage roof started leaking, I contacted Nico Roofing for a quote. Bogdan is very knowledgeable, and talked through my options when he came to review the situation. We decided to re-roof the garage. When the crew came to do the re-roof, they did a great job, from start to finish in one day.

Had roof and gutters replaced. Had 5 estimates Nico was comparable to most. Work crew was great. Job was completed before their estimate. Bob Earl stayed involved from original estimate until completion. Would recommend to family and friends.

Compared reviews for multiple roofing contractors in the NW Suburbs. Nico Roofing was consistently at the top on multiple review websites. Bob (estimator) called back quickly and setup an appointment. Price was good. Bob even patched the roof the day he gave the estimate because the job could not be done for a while (middle of Winter). The tiles they use (GAF) are some of the best and their approach is quality comes first rather than cutting corners. Very happy with the quality of their work and cleanup (like they were never even onsite). After work was completed they came back and inspected to confirm everything was good. Great company to work with. Bob was fantastic. I recommend Nico Roofing.

After receiving 4 bids (from highly certified contractors) and doing a detailed comparison, I chose Nico for our new roof. Bogdan (estimator) was very responsive and the price was reasonable. Their GAF warranty and previous ratings were the best. They started within 2 weeks of contract. The installation team was very professional and they took care to protect and clean up everything. Nico was also very responsive to a few issues we encountered during the installation. I recommend them for any roofing project.

I needed to do a complete replacement of my 20+ years old roof. I got estimates from 4 companies, and then I came across Nico Roofing through the GAF website. I decided to give them a call and I'm glad I did.

Bagdan reached out to me in a matter of minutes and we scheduled an appointment for him to inspect my roof. Bagdan showed up on time (on a rainy day) and inspected the roof. Then he went on to explain how the building code changed in my city, and they were now requesting a different size of plywood that what I had. That was news to me! Nobody else mentioned that to me.

He went ahead and provided an estimate with and without replacing the plywood to meet code. The estimate was very competitive so I decided to go with Nico.

Before I signed the contract, Bagdan came again and checked the actual plywood thickness, and suggested I call one of the inspectors at Village Hall and ask if the 1/2" thickness was good enough to let the project go as is. I had a good conversation with the inspector and he said that if the plywood was in good condition, he will let it go as is. This saved me $5,900.

5 days after I signed the contract, the crew showed up and worked , worked, and worked very hard to get it done the same day. They were very polite and professional. The roof looks fantastic!

I highly recommend Nico Roofing and Exteriors. The customer service and attention I got from Bagdan is second to none. Him taking the time to educate me and let me see the entire scope of the project so there were no surprises in the middle of it was priceless.

Went from responsive to blown off completely. Called company, got an estimate after physically climbing on my roof, I agreed to written estimate, and then blown off by estimator and the company. Still mystified as to how or why their rating is so high, even though that was the reason I called them first.

Edit: company came through, made the repairs needed and finished the job well done.

Sorry this review is so late. Totally my fault. Nico Roofing & Exteriors vinyl sided our house in late June 2021. They also did all the gutters and soffit and fascia, They were very reasonable, prompt, and accommodating to our needs and wants. We were having a hard time picking a color that the supplier had in stock because we needed so much siding. They let us know how much the supplier had of each color and brand. This made it easier to decide. They were efficient and cleaned up all the mess that comes with this large job. I hope this was helpful to all.

Nico roofing dod a great job with the roof replacement and siding repair that we needed. They gave us a competitive price and options for some elements of the work. The installers were very professional and clean up everything when they were done.

We had requested a popular shingle and supply was running low but Nico roofing was able to find the right one and start the job on time. They came early and did all the prep work right away. They were efficient and got it all done in the time they said they would. They cleaned up all the debris and after they were gone you could not tell they had been here. The new roof looks great ans we’ve received several complements from passing neighbors. I’d hire them again if the need arose.

We were very impressed with Nico Roofing’s responsiveness, timeliness, and value. The total turnaround time from when we contacted them about our leaking roof to them coming out and replacing the roof was just over a week! This included them pulling the necessary permits. The roof install itself took less than a day. They were very thorough in their cleanup and provided a ton of pictures of the step-by-step process.

The owner Patrick came in and pointed out the problem, saved me money after having 3 different roofers telling me what i didnt need

I needed my front siding replaced. As you see in old pictures, I had fiber boards and they were damaged. While everyone refused to to partially replace it, I was told by other estimators that they will not take the job unless I replace the whole siding which was over my budget; til I found Nico Roofing and Exteriors. The minute I called them, within an hour an estimator called me And in no time we scheduled an appointment for the estimate. Robert (Bob), came by , he was wearing his mask professionally approached with all the samples started explaining that no job is a small or big job. Their number one priority is to address, evaluate, explain my options, the rest was my decision. They wanted to fix my siding and they put them selfs in your shoes. First of all, the rest of my house siding is aluminum and I wanted vinyl on the front, the real challenge was to pretty much find me something to match my existing side(not breaking my wallet) because fixing my siding was the easiest task for them. Bob, went above and beyond, he put on the table so many options for me to pick with no pressure selling what so ever. I wanted existing front siding removed which they did. I explained how cold is one of the room floor where the new siding needed to be installed and immediately knew why I was having that problem, they removed old siding and applied insulation and then moisture barrier(Tyvak) and boom no freezing floors. I didn’t get to know the names of the whole friendly crew but Lester, was one of them, he even fixed leaking in 2 gutters which wasn’t part of the deal and many more. These people are not greedy at all. Bob, kept following up with me like it was his own house and that is greatly appreciated. I will do my best to recommend Nico, to help my family and friends save money and have a great quality workmanship if they ever need one. We are going thru a pandemic, to have people with such sense of humor is hard these days. They stand behind their quality work by providing not 3, or 5, but 10 years warranty on labor and lifetime on the product. They beat my other estimates in every aspect. Bob, also explained that he can work with my insurance company if I ever have a storm or hail damage in the future. Customer satisfaction is their number priority.
