They got the job done but I wish they are a little more careful. They offered to pay for the repairs to the light they broke, which I appreciate. It has been over a month and I haven't received that yet but I am choosing to remain hopeful. It was a bit stressful when they removed my gutter without a solid plan on when the new one was going to be attached.

After some thorough research and interviewing 3 roofing companies, we ended up selecting Countryside roofing to install our leaking skylights. The overall experience has been a positive one! Mike, the Sales Manager, was friendly, professional and knowledgeable.
Out of the 3 companies that we interviewed, he had the most clear and concise response. In addition, he answered all my questions correctly! On the day of install, I was concerned that it rained that morning, but Ken, the owner was Awesome! Via the phone, he gave detailed explanation of why the rain shouldn't hinder the quality of the install or shingle adhesive. To give me a piece of mind, he even stopped by our house and supervised the initial part of the install. You can tell that Ken takes pride in his company and wants to ensure the customer is satisfied and happy with their service. He reviewed the condition of our existing roof and provided great insight on when we need to replace it. Carlos, the install leader and his crew did a wonderful job replacing our skylights. They worked diligently and was very quick with the install. They were courteous and friendly. They cleaned up all the scraps in the garden after the work is done.

I have the new skylights for 3 weeks now and am delighted to say that we haven't encountered any leak. We highly recommend Countryside roofing as they provide great customer service and quality of work!

Eric let us know when he was coming. He was very thorough in helping us determine the reason for an issue that we were having w our roof / soffit. We are thankful for his insight and the time he took to investigate the matter. This visit was to determine the problem not to complete the work.

We recently purchased a home where this company had completed a full tear off roof replacement (~$13K) just three years ago. After discovering interior damage consistent with an active roof leak, I reached out hoping they would stand by their work. Unfortunately, the response was largely dismissive, and they quickly distanced themselves from the issue.

While the contract states that the warranty is non-transferable, the seller (their original customer) was still willing to make a claim to help resolve the issue, since the contract does not say the warranty becomes void upon the sale of the property. We were also still within the five-year workmanship warranty period. There was a misunderstanding on the seller’s part...they believed the damage was old and did not follow up, since it was located in the same area where the original leak had occurred before the roof was replaced. However, that does not change the fact that the leak stemmed from a relatively new installation. We knew the damage was still active because when we tried to patch the drywall, the mud never dried and remained damp. That was clear evidence of an ongoing leak.

We ended up cutting the wall open and discovered the source of the leak ourselves. (See attached photo.)

To their credit, someone came out and successfully repaired the shingles. He was professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. He quickly identified the issue, an obvious saw cut left behind by the original crew (second photo), and fixed the leak using leftover shingles that had been stored in the garage from the original job. Without me even asking, he said the company would send someone to patch the interior damage. He also shook his head in disbelief at the extent of the damage it caused. It was clear he genuinely cared about doing the right thing.

Ryan, the field supervisor, later claimed the damage might have been caused by someone cutting down a tree limb while on the roof. But there are no trees anywhere near the damaged area, and the sellers confirmed that no one has been on the roof since the installation. That explanation simply didn’t make sense.

After several days of trying to get a straight answer from Ryan about whether they would follow through with the interior repair, I received a text from him shifting blame and making it clear they had no intention of doing anything further. Honestly, I’m relieved Ryan never showed up in person. His dismissive tone over text suggested he probably wouldn’t have even allowed the shingle repair to happen.

We had originally planned to use this company for new siding and windows, especially after the positive experience with the technician who repaired the shingles. But after dealing with Ryan, we decided to take our business elsewhere.

We’ve since repaired the interior damage caused by the leak. This was never about money or trying to get something for free. We simply wanted the company to take responsibility for a clear mistake and follow through on what their own technician had already started to make right. Unfortunately, it seems that even when their techs try to do the right thing, field supervisors can override them. That kind of disconnect doesn’t inspire trust.

It is also worth noting that we were given a copy of the seller’s final invoice, which included an offer for a $25 gift card in exchange for a 5-star Google review. That may not reflect the values of every employee, but it is something future customers should be aware of. Many of the glowing reviews may have been written by people simply looking to claim the gift card.

Bob from Countryside took care of us for our roof replacement. He was transparent about the materials and the pricing, thoroughly explaining everything to us. Him and his team worked hard to get the roof installed in one day. The resulting roof looks great and my ventilation problems were resolved. Overall, I'm very pleased and hope to use Countryside for future projects.

Bob Sammarco gave is the estimate and was kind and listened to the problem I was telling him. The estimate was fair and I agreed. Eric was the repair guy who went ahead and did the repair without hesitation and the replaced chimney lid we needed is so much better than the one that flew off somewhere. Thank you Countryside, I will reach out to you again in the future.

Eric went above and beyond on our siding repair as it was a difficult spot to reach. He also kept me up to date on the progress as I wasn’t home. I would definitely use Countryside again in the future.

Keith Chappell woeked with us and the team at Countryside did an excellent job on our roof project. Quality shingles, materials and all done ar a price I thought was quite fair. Left for work one morning and came home but would never have known they were there, except for a new roof.

We would have waited weeks for a roofer from another company to come and fix some loose shingles. Eric from Countryside was here within 2 days and even found other loose tiles we didn't know of and fixed them at no additional charge.

Ken was out within 2 days of contacting Countryside for a quote. He pleasantly and thoroughly inspected the inside of my attic on a 95 degree day! He found the leak! The quotes for the leak repair, new holes in the soffit and a new roof in a couple years were very reasonable. Repair guy Eric was out within the week to fix the leak in my roof. He was cheerful, knowledgeable and prompt. Customer Service is definitely the priority at Countryside!

Had a very positive experience with Countryside roofing. They showed up when they promised and did a fantastic job on my roof, skylight, and attic fan installation. The crew did a complete tear off and installation of the above in one day, which is impressive considering the complexity of my roof. They were very courteous, listened to my concerns, and cleaned up everything when done. Highly recommend Countryside roofing! And on another note, when they quoted my roof, the salesperson stated they may not be the cheapest but they do high quality work for a fair price and highlighted the things to ask about when getting other quotes. He also provided the most detailed quote of all the estimates I received, which I liked. After 3 additional quotes, Countryside was the lowest and did a great job. Countryside did the siding on the back of my house! They were extremely accommodating and were great at communicating. The job was done quickly and looks amazing. When we need to get our roof repaired, we will be contacting them again!

When we moved here 4 years ago, we knew that the original roof would need replaced sooner than later. I met George from countryside roofing at a holiday party soon after we moved here. He looked at the roof, and agreed with us that the time was near. We spoke again about the roof earlier this year and he and his team were here in May tearing off the old roof and gutters and installing a new one. The roof was done in one day! They cleaned up so well that we didn't even know they had been here. 2 days later, new gutters were installed. Great service, and the fastest work I've ever seen. The roof came with a 50 year warranty, and that's not too shabby!

Countryside coordinated with the Aurora Building Department for permits and inspections. Material was delivered and placed on the roof where a large crew worked and completed the roof in one day. The crew worked diligently to ensure no damage to home or landscape occurred. They cleaned up placing debris in their trailer dumpster. A different crew arrived on another day to remove and replace the old soffit venting with the new full soffit venting required to ensure the full ridge venting works properly. Countryside did everything they promised. I recommend them without hesitation.

We needed a repair/clean out on an extremely high gutter. Countryside sent Eric for the service call. I received a call from Eric before his arrival, he was very through in the cleaning, installed a new RainDrop gutter cover and took pictures before and after the job. We had our cedar shake roof replaced and had some other work done, including gutter guards. Countryside took six months to plan the removal of the old material so as to not damage any fully developed landscaping. I found my roof leaking during a storm. I found Countryside thru Nextdoor app from great reviews and they were very quick to answering calls and coming out on short notice. Bob did the review and Eric did the roof repair. Both were very professional, friendly and super knowledgeable. They pointed out things elsewhere that I hadn't even noticed and gave a lot of great advice on things I was concerned of. Eric even found a second nail broken thru a shingle nearby and repaired that as well. I also had Countryside replace my gutters and they got it done within a day just before the next storm. Keith and his crew from countryside helped replaced the old fascia siding, old gutter, and rotted board that was causing my roof to leak. They also placed my new gutter downspout exactly how I wanted it!!!

I wanted to have them fix a hole on my roof but Mike wouldn't reply for so long and I called, emailed and texted. They have enough customers so they don't really care about little jobs. He finally replied with $1250 quote instead of the $650-800 ballpark just to get me out of his hair. I wish I could have used their services with their good reviews.

Roof replacement is not cheap today. Our family decided if we have to invest in our home, we will invest in best quality we can afford. We started reviewing roofing companies in our area and narrowed down our search to four installers with minimum 4.5 star ratings in multiple review boards with no less than hundreds of reviews. Countryside Roofing Siding and Windows was one of them. We’ve contacted all four and scheduled appointments. Countryside was first to respond and first to visit our home. Our representative George Carrasco was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. We’ve started evaluating proposals for the project, and we were amazed by the work Countryside has done. This is the second roof replacement project for us, and we are familiar with installer selection process, but have never seen a proposal of such quality as Countryside. It explained in detail the problem we have, proposed solution, needs for adequate ventilation, materials used for every part of the roofing system and comparison with alternatives, installation process, work permit, the reasons it will be done certain way and advantages of this installation method, as well as different warranty options.It even suggested to tarp the attic storage area from possible debris during shingle removal. Proposal explained what will happen if we decide to hire Countryside and how the work will be done by the crews (roofing and gutters/downspouts). We called George and asked him to come out and finalize the project with us. We’ve selected material colors and discussed financing options.Project was scheduled and handled expertly. Both crews did an excellent job not only by doing their primary tasks, but creating minimum possible disruption for neighbors (we live in dense neighborhood with tight spaces and lots of traffic). Roofing project was promised to be completed in one day, and it was completed as promised. Downspouts, gutters and leaf protection was installed by separate crew with exceptional quality, too. All landscaping and equipment was covered to protect from old material fallout. After the installation work area was swept sparkling clean.Everything about this project was smooth and professional. We’ve experienced top quality work done by people which know what they do, love what they do, and proud of what they do. We hope our new roof will serve us for many years to come and we will thank Team Countryside for this!

Update: 08/06/2025

After unusually hot Summer we’ve noticed small bulging spot on our roof. I’ve called my project manager. George came in that same evening to inspect the problem, contacted main office and scheduled repair crew.Eric came in today, thoroughly investigated the issue, found root cause and corrected it. Opened up the shingles to the raw wood, secured affected area, sealed it with waterproof material, re-installed water barrier and shingles. He send detail report with pictures depicting every step taken, and when I called to check how project went, he explained it in details. Our roof looks great now. When we selected Countryside, our project manager told us: “We stand behind our work. Always.” Today we’ve seen exactly that. Team Countryside, big thank you for your exemplary expertise, effort, work ethics and commitment. Eric, thank you for the great work you did today!

Getting a new roof is always kind of scary and intense; it's a huge purchase and investment! I was in the market to get this done and I'm so happy that I went with Countryside Roofing Siding & Windows! Mike was incredibly friendly and professional and answered all my questions, and their quote was the only one to include replacing the old, broken power fan roof vent, which I had no idea was even there. The crew arrived right on time and got the entire tear-off and replacement done in a single day and also did a great job protecting the surrounding property from any damage and cleaning up. My experience with the village of Schaumburg is that their inspectors are very thorough and particular and they raised no issues or concerns with the work. Countryside was also the best priced quote and was able to get my roof scheduled within a couple weeks! I highly recommend them and will likely work with them again whenever we're in the market to do further work on our home.

If I could offer one piece of constructive criticism, it would be to improve how nails are collected from the yard to keep kids and pets safe. I found dozens of nails in the yard using a magnetic broom.

He was on site when the roof was installed was on site on the siding was put up. The workers were very professional took care of covering all my wife’s flowers and plants, any issues that came up Keith was there to take care of it I only have good things to say about countryside. I give my highest recommendation for Countryside Roofing. I worked with Mike who is a super great guy, the opposite of your typical pushy salesman. He was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous throughout the whole process. They replaced my roof in one day as promised and were very careful not to cause any damage to the new siding and gutters I had recently installed. The workers did a great job cleaning up afterwards with no debris left behind. Mike came back out another day to do a thorough walk through on the roof to make sure everything was in good order which it was. I had received multiple proposals and Countrisde was extremely competitive. If I ever move and need a new roof, I’d absolutely use Countryside again.

This is the second time in twenty years we have had a roof replaced by Countryside. Ken McEndree has always been very helpful and does things right way. In these days of contractors who promise you so many things and under-deliver (or not deliver at all), Ken is a refreshing change to deal with. The crew who came out to install the roof was very courteous and thorough in their work. I hihhly recommend Countryside Roofing for any type of roof and siding work.

Did work in late 2023. Crew was awesome worked very hard removing old roof, installing new, adding ridge vents, replacing several bad boards. They also added soffit vents. Found them in Libertyville's Best publication and they were the best!

We recently had a pergola roof installed by Countryside. The workmen were meticulous in their workmanship, professional, friendly, and willing to involve me as a client in the details going above and beyond to be sure I was happy with the finished product. The company itself was fabulous to work with also. When an unfortunate accident happened, and my sales rep could not be at the worksite the day of installation, one of the owners actually came along to supervise the beginning of the job. We will use them again and again. I cannot say enough about how happy we are with the job that was done. It is absolutely beautiful and has enhanced our backyard tremendously.

Professional company on every level from quote to completion. They showed up on time and did a very high quality job on the roofing installation, upgrading my soffit and adding gutter guards at a great price. My only complaint was that the workers dumped a lot of garbage and excess materials in my attic that should have been disposed of in the trash. Empty water bottles, old venting, and other junk were left for me to clean up. Overall very satisfied.

I would like to thank and recommend this company. Following the last major storm I February 2024 I had siding and roof damage. I called the very next morning and they sent someone that day to assess and price the job. They said they could fix it in 2 days before the next rain. Not only did they come as promised , but a day early because of a cancellation. MICHAEL came and he did a fantastic job! It showed me each step and how the repairs were made. I felt the price was reasonable for the job. MICHAEL was an excellent tradesman and did a wonderful job!

I have used Countryside Roofing in the past for replacing my entire roof and gutters. They did a fantastic job which convinced me to call them for a gutter repair. The repair was for an elbow at the top of a two story downspout. I called them for the estimate and the next day they were here not only for the estimate but repaired it !! I'm dealing with some nasty medical issues which hinders my abilities to do things around the house. I'm not looking for any sympathy from anyone but they didn't charge me for the repair! What me need in this world is more kindness and less corporate greed such as Countryside Roofing demonstrated. THANK YOU GUYS!!! ❤️

Requested they come out yo look at some damage to my roof. First appointment canceled due to rain. Second one did rain but not all day. Still could have come out. Finally showed up. Started out good. Mike took pics showed us damage will get us a quote by Monday. He came out on a Friday. We have called several times asking for the quote. It has been over 3 weeks still no quote received though promises will send it. Finally went with someone else. If did not want the job should have just said so.
