NextGen Restoration - Overland Park, KS

Although my initial interface with NextGen was exceptional, my interactions ended in a stressful manner. Ryan the salesperson walked me through the claim process and earned my trust and confidence. The workers were phenonmenol in their organization and execution of the prep, tear off and replacement of the roof. The customer service is where Next Gen needs improvement. First the recommended painter for the interior repairs was condescending and got angry over basic questions regarding the plan for color matching and performance of the approved scope of work. He mistakenly sent me a text meant for his collegue saying I was pain in the ass. I didn't need this stress so I used another professional painter. After the replacement there is now an issue with something on the roof rattling when the wind blows briskly.that didn't exist before. There just seemed to be an attitude when dealing the team and when they were asked to keep their promises like ensuring the gutters were sealed and secure. They lost my trust and I had another roofing company do an inspection to ensure things were done correctly.

John who is with nextgen he was the greatest to work with he knows the ropes of replacing roofs and he will go out of his way to make sure you are taking care of even if you have some one else in mind he will still go out of his way of giving quotes. If your in need of a roof replacement I would recommend the nextgen roofing.

Everything else is fine just the new gutters and down spouts that were to replace the old ones are causing more damage to my house than helping it. I've called multiple time and for some reason everytime they send someone to "fix it" it get worse these gutter aren't even a year old and have been cleaned out multiple time and yet I still have water pouring out every side

Man talk about knocking it out of the park! These people are outstanding, Josh was very helpful throughout the entire process making sure that everything was smooth and copasetic. If you need a roof these are the people you want helping you!

Reccomend NextGen, they are willing to put in the extra work to make sure your insurance approves your roof and to make sure the roof fits all expectations and beyond.

When our roof was ripped off in a storm this spring we didn’t know what to do. Our insurance company highly recommended NextGen Restoration. They trusted them and we would find out later that same day why they did.
Bryce Null, was everything you could have asked for in a general contractor. He was up on our roof assessing the damage and making the calls necessary to coordinate the roof and guttering replacements. He even came out to put a tarp over a place on the peak of the roof when we had another thunderstorm coming. He is always pleasant, respectful and extremely helpful in picking colors and upgrades we wanted.
We highly recommend this company and hope you get the opportunity to work with Bryce!

Justin did the inspection and spent 6 hours over 2 days documenting all the damage for the insurance company and explained how everything would go down. He spent 3 hours on a Saturday just waiting for the insurance company inspector to finally show up. He was flexible with the funds I wanted to apply to some new windows. Every thing he said would happen, did happen.
Ian supervised the work and popped in multiple times to check the crew’s progress. A couple of items I mentioned to him were followed up immediately. The crew itself showed up on time, did a great job and left the property in better condition than they found it. I would recommend Nextgen in KC for a roofing project. I don’t know what Nextgen is paying Justin or Ian, but it’s not enough. Those two are great assets for Nextgen Restoration to have on their team.

We were extremely pleased with the work recently done to our home by NextGen Restoration, including a new roof, new siding & insulation (finished just in time for cold weather, YAY!), new gutters & gutter covers. When we had questions or concerns, both NextGen office & onsite employees were thorough & prompt with their replies. Special shoutout to Raoul (sp?) & crew for their friendly, meticulous, hard work in all types of weather! We highly recommend NextGen Restoration. :)

We had an amazing and super easy experience working with Ian at NextGen. They worked directly with our insurance company on payments, they worked fast and cleanly at our house and came back after bad weather to finish up the gutters and downspouts. NextGenRestoration was incredible! They replaced my shingles, gutters, and plywood sheeting. When my insurance initially refused to cover the sheeting, their CFO (Megan) personally stepped in and got it approved. I would have been out of pocket for around $10k if she hadn’t stepped in. The crew was professional, efficient, and left everything spotless. My roof looks amazing, and I couldn’t be happier with their service. Highly recommend!

NextGen did a great job on our house. Jake came out and worked with our schedule to inspect and give us an estimate. NextGen communicated with us during every step. They listened too and addressed each of our questions and concerns. The job was started and completed when they said it would be. When everything was completed Ian came out to do a final inspection. He pointed out a couple things he wanted to take care of that I hadn’t noticed yet. He even touched up the paint behind one of the downspouts.
I couldn’t be happier with the communication and quality and timeliness of work.

They ignored the no solicitor sign for my subdivision and rang my doorbell. I tried to be polite and told them I wasn't interested, they were very rude continuing to try to get me to allow them to look for "Storm Damage." Politeness failed and I had to shut the door on them.

If I ever do have storm damage, I won't hire someone going door to door after a storm. Definitely not this company.

Did a good job of replacing my hail damaged roof. The roofers were quick, efficient, and safe. The cleanup was very good.

From our salesman to our construction crew, to the office admin after all was done, this company felt more like a family, or close friends. The work was done well and in a reasonable amount of time. Everything was well communicated and we were given everything we were promised. They even made house calls to pick up the insurance checks after the work was done. This was so much less of a hassle than it could’ve been and that in itself makes choosing Nex Gen worth it.
We had our entire roof and gutter system replaced and solar panels removed and reinstalled.
The roof and gutters look great and our solar panels that were not working before are now fully functional! BONUS!
