NexGen Solar and Roofing

We recently had NexGen replace a roof for us. We worked with Mike Mercandetti and he is great to work with. He stayed on top of our project and was friendly, informative, and efficient to work with. The crew did a great job and having Mike oversee all of the details was reassuring. I would definitely recommend NexGen!

We hired NexGen to replace our roof after hail damage. The crew came on the scheduled date and did a great job ripping off the old and installing the new. Our Project Manager, Mike was responsive to all the questions and inquiries we made throughout the process. They also did a great job with cleanup on and around our property ensuring there were no nails that could damage our vehicles or hurt our pets. I highly recommend them!

Don't be fooled by the name. Joel and his team give their all when it came to our complete roof shingle replacement. They stood by their word and a handshake like business the old fashion way. The team was persise and they left no trace of debris. You couldn't ask for a better roofer to do the job. Expect the best. Most recommended. A++++

We used NexGen for a roof repair back in 2017 and they did a great job! They also took care of repair to the siding and gutters due to hail damage. Yesterday we contacted Joel at NexGen to evaluate the source of the condensation in our attic. We required a qualified contractor. Today, Joel came out on-time, completed the evaluation, and promptly delivered a detailed report that included a solution for our attic issue. To recap... Joel was very professional, responsive, and provided a solution in a detailed report. We won't hesitate to contact NexGen for any future solar and/or roofing projects.

The company never contacted me directly about this review, however David Garner did contact me asking me to update my review. After the last week of fighting back and forth with them they STILL insisted I pay EXTRA money for work that was supposed to be completed under the original invoice they provided. They did end up sending a third party company to finish 2 of the 3 remaining projects and due to them being a third party I did pay them for their work separately however my below review still stands, Nexgen ripped me off for what they invoices me for the roof repair, and they are definitely liars and scammers.

I HIGHLY would NOT recommend ever working with Nexgen Solar & Roofing especially David Garner. they are complete scammers and users. They took almost $18k from me with the promise of doing 4 tasks and only completed one task. They severely lack communication and will completely ghost you when you try and get them to hold up to their promises. They will purposely wait until you persistently contact them then they will make sure to pick a date that you CLEARLY said you weren’t available even though you had been waiting for the work to be done for WEEKS before that, then they will say “we made every effort to reschedule with you”. They are not a reliable or honest company and they cheat good people out of their hard earned money. I will be contacting the BBB and ANYONE else who can help me properly report them. I may even go to small claims court.

NexGen was chosen by us to repair the roof after the original builder had installed shingles that needed to be replaced under warranty. After talking with several companies about their work and quality, NexGen was the clear choice to have a top quality roof installed at a fair price. Other companies were trying to skip doing the underlay, thus posing a future leak potential. NexGen does not do that, so we chose them to have 100% confidence in a trouble-free roof for decades to come. The workers and the management were a class act and got it looking stellar in no time!

NexGen Roofing services are excellent. They installed our roofing and gutter for my house. I believe this company is good at following up with customers, and employees show up on time. Also, If I had a question, the company people answered me immediately, which was so great experience. I recommend using this roofing company.

A young man came to my door talking to me about solar. Usually, I thank them at the door but tell them right away I'm not interested. This time, when I said I wasn't interested, I was taken back by the reps response. He asked, "why?". Well, to be completely honest with you, nobody has ever challenged me before and asked, and I couldn't help but laugh out loud. I dont really know why if im being truthful, i guess the aesthetics and costs have always been a big turn off for my wife and I. He provided me with some information on the solar programs in the state and told me we could be provided a free report by one of their "experts". I accepted an appointment and they had another gentleman appear the very next day right on time. I was completely taken back by the level of professionalism he had as well as his vast knowledge on not just solar energy, but all renewable energies. Did you know Colorado recognizes a property tax exemption for any equity gain you see from your solar panels? I sure didn't! Their product seemed very good not only in quality but also cost, he even did a demonstration to show me the durability of their panels versus the competition. Throughout the entire conversation, not once did he talk negatively about any other company and actually invited us to check out other companies to compare their product to, even offering to appear at said meetings with other companies. I am not a spur of the moment buyer, nor do i ever accept the first bid. So, we took his advice, and contacted 3 other large solar companies (SunRun, Blue Raven, Tesla) in Denver to receive reports throughout the week. While there were offers that were interesting, the NexGen rep was completely correct that his product and report would blow everyone else out of the water. We have contacted him since and arranged a meeting for this Friday to talk about finalizing a deal. NexGen, you have a diamond in the rough here! Jordan was completely transparent, brutally honest and told me to my face that if I didn't see the benefits, it wasn't for me and there were no hard feelings. He told me this is my home, and while they'd love to get us involved they would never try to force us, or convince us this was the right option. I respect that very much! If Jordan is even just half as good as the rest of your employees, I have no doubt you will become the best solar company in Denver. I absolutely will be referring my friends and family to your company for any solar or house work, and thank you Jordan!!!

I had actually contacted several people for a roof replacement and Mitchell at NexGen was the most responsive and helpful of all. I had already made my claim to my insurance company but he helped me get everything taken care of including upgraded shingles! The whole process was simple/smooth/fast! I appreciate Mitchell's understanding, compassion, and knowledge. I would recommend them to anyone looking for roof repair/replacement. I have already given his info out to my neighbor! A family member recommended Nexgen to me as I needed a roof replacement due to hail damage. I cannot say enough how great this contractor is to work with. Everything from my first call to the completion of the job Nexgen was always prompt, professional and reliable. Casey Andreski was my contractor and he deserves 10 stars for his incredible diligence. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a roofing contractor.

roof and gutters took a day and a half. quality work. original estimate was increased because of inflated cost of plywood. thorough cleanup.

We were in need of a new roof as ours was 20+ years old so we called 6 companies for estimates.(3 came out and never gave us the estimate) John came out for the estimate, explained what he saw and we talked types of shingles available. He didn't try to sell us most expensive shingles but what was best value and options. He explained the importance of vents in the roof as ours only had one for a 3000+ sq ft house and it wasn't enough. He had the estimate to us in a timely manner just like we discussed. His estimate was reasonable and we trusted his professional opinions.
When it came time to do they communicated when they would be here and were. They were quick and professional and had it done in two days! Cleaned up everything too. It looks amazing! We have had alot of rain since replaced and no leaks. Would recommend to everyone! A great company with top quality people!!

In the 14 years in our home we suffered 2 different severe storm damage to our roof. Both times we utilize NexGen Roofing, both times they were helpful and friendly. 2 years ago I installed Solar and the installers were so impressed with the quality of our roof they felt they had to mention it.

NexGen replaced my roof after a hailstorm, 5+years ago. I noticed some discoloration on my popcorn ceiling (gross and outdated, yes I know), and assumed my roof was leaking. I called NexGen and left a message conveying this. Chris returned my call right away and scheduled a time to do an inspection. He arrived on time and truly listened to my concerns. He went into my attic to inspect where I felt the water was. After miscalculating the trusses, the poor guy came crashing through my ceiling onto my tile floor, and putting a hole into one of my walls. Thank goodness he was ok, although I'm sure pretty sore for the next week or so. Too bad we didn't get it on video for some Youtube likes or at least a laugh at the company Christmas party! He apologized profusely and assured me that he would have someone out right away to repair the damage. During the repair, Chris kept in constant communication and always made sure the job was getting done to my satisfaction and correctly. I never thought that they would be able to blend a 40 year old popcorn ceiling but, they did a great job! To help make up for the inconvenience, they even fixed the part of the ceiling I was originally concerned about. Accidents happen, it's how you respond to them that matters, and Chris from NexGen responded like a PRO!

Nexgen helped us every step of the way towards our new roof. Casey, our Nexgen representative and project manager, was so helpful in making what can be a difficult process into a fun and exciting experience. He actually had us anticipating each step of the process until “voila” our roof was done! Well done! Our rather large roof was done in a single day and looks great! Thanks Casey and thanks Nexgen!

NextGen did a fantastic job repairing my roof. The are upfront and honest and more than exceeded my expectations. A+ experience!

I needed my roof replace ASAP to close on the sale of it. I contacted Next Gen Roofing and told them my situation, and within 2 days I had a new roof and gutters and their warranty that transferred to the new home owners. Did I mention that Joel also did it at a very fair price, and did not take advantage of my situation like the other roofing quotes that I had gotten. They completed everything within a day, and there were no traces of them ever woking there. I have had previous contractors leave trash and a mess that I had to clean up, but not Next Gen. I can’t recommend them enough for anything roof/gutter related. They are not some pop up over night business also which means that the warranty will be honored unlike other companies. They went beyond my expectations, and I won’t use anyone else. Thanks again for being an amazing company!!!

I have used NexGen Roofing for several years on both residential and commercial properties. They have provided excellent customer service on every roofing project. From small repairs and inspections to full roof replacement, NexGen has always treated me right!

We had a leak in our roof in our half bathroom, I contacted NexGen Roofing and they had someone out to inspect and repair the damage within a couple of days. They were very knowledgeable and were able to not only repair the issue but improve the structure overall to avoid having this issue recur again. I appreciated their professionalism and promptness to get the job done quickly. Not to mention how reasonable the cost was for the repair compared to other quotes we got! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and will be using them in the future should we have other roof repair/replacement needs!

If you think that you cannot get affordable windows and siding for your home I encourage you to call NexGen LLC. We had two other companies come out and we sat through two very similar presentations. They lasted about an hour and consisted of how their product was the best and how much do we think we should pay for “the best.” From here we played the price game where they give you an extremely high quote then when you decline them they say let me call my boss and see if we can get it lower. NexGen = No Games. They came out. They measured. They showed samples and gave their recommendation. The let you choose. They offered a fair competitive price from the beginning and financing is super easy. Thanks! Travis and Joel.

I had next gen replace my roof after a hailstorm. The roof itself looks fine, and it was completed in a timely manner.

However, every other time their rep came by to inspect/have something signed, he was either +1hr late or never showed up at all. Had to the repeatedly remind them to send me forms/permits for weeks, and I still never received some of them.
I repeatedly asked during the entire process if the 4ft exhaust pipe was getting replaced, they said yes each time, and included its damage in their assessment pictures (see photos), but they instead just painted over it.
I had to have their accounting department revise the invoice 5 times, as each time the were overcharging/missing something. They were nice enough to extend the Net5 invoice by 2 days, so I had 1 day to look at the roof after some out-of-state travel.
All of the exterior siding that the roof runs up to has pretty torn up trim (they did seal it up, but its a mess).

All in all, the roof is fine, passed inspection, and looks professional. Every other part of the experience was a giant hassle.

NEXGEN Roofing has always been nothing but exceptional for us! They inspected two of our roofs so far and have provided us with the information we were looking for! They also inspected our family members roof too and gave them an honest opinion on if they needed a new roof or not. We really love how they aren’t out just looking to make quick money off of us! We’ve called them questions over the phone and they’ve always been more then happy to help! I would always use and recommend NEXGEN! They are always on time!

Can't give enough kudos to these guys. First off their estimate was spot on with the actual cost. Plus they worked directly with the insurance company that required pretty much nothing but a head nod or okay from us. After a hail storm, they actually called us and asked if they could come by and see if there was any damage. Their after job completion service is second to none. I highly recommend these guys and will use them again if the occasion arises.

While the roof work was good. The damage to the house and the trash left behind, along with the delays in getting it resolved lead me to not want to truly recommend them. If you do use them, just know that 5 months after the roof was done, we’re still picking up lots of roofing nails and pieces of old roof.

We had other roofing companies exaggerate issues in order to try to get the biggest job possible, but not NexGen. They are honest and have your best interests in mind. Our Colorado hail storms can been devastating and choosing a contractor to repair damages can be just as stressful. Joel and Johnathan, NexGen Roofing, came to my house, assessed the damage and laid out a plan for restoration. I greatly appreciated their detailed explanations and their no pressure approach. All aspects with my insurance was handled by NexGen. Johnathan even went over the initial adjustor’s report to point out issues that had been missed. Their responsiveness was excellent! I think I was one of the first in my neighborhood to have all repairs completed. Joel and Johnathan were true to their words, no hidden costs, work completed within the timeline window, the staff seemed very meticulous with their work. The team that came to my house to fix the roof was top notch. I appreciated their excellent customer service. There was a problem with some strange sound coming from the roof a year and a half after the roof was repaired from hail damage. NexGen provided top-notch service on my hail-battered home. They were able to coordinate everything from stucco, wood, paint, and roof repairs. When other neighbors were waiting months to get roof repairs completed following the 2018 hail storm, mine was done in a matter of weeks. Communication was prompt and easy via text, email, and phone. They worked seamlessly with insurance to get the best possible coverage and even managed to work out a few upgrades. Highly recommended, would do business with again.
