Once again i find myself taking the time to review a business as well as the services provided. In this case it is New River Valley Building Supply.
A business that honestly i drove by many times but dismissed. I was in many ways more a Home Depot customer and shopper.
However based solely on customer reviews i decided to give NRV Building Supply a chance. I needed to purchase some cabinets and wanted to make sure they would stand the test of time and being loaded and used.
I researched the typical cabinets found at Home Depot, Lowes, and other cabinet retailers . Reviews for these establishments were mixed based on quality and customer service.
Again i state based solely on customer reviews New River Valley Building Supply became my choice.
Customer Service from day one was great from initially meeting the staff. From there Jacob Edmonds became my point of contact.
Jacob took the time to listen and to understand our budget and gave us some excellent advice and choices.
The cabinets chosen are well made and seamless and exactly what we asked for in price and quality.
The cabinets are not only well made and sturdy but will fit within your budget.
Jacob truly educated me on cabinet design and construction.
No sales pressure or foolishness, for in the end you get what you pay for in product and price.
NRV Building Supply has and sells cabinets at multiple price points, so go in with a open mind and listen and talk to Jacob. He will answer any and all questions about cabinet design, functionality, price.
The cabinets purchased are now fully installed and are exactly what we asked for in color, design, quality and again price.
Now New River Valley Building Supply has alot more to offer than just cabinets. However for us that was our initial reason for going to this establishment.
Bottom line cabinets were excellent and the customer service was excellent as well.
Indeed you can still go to other establishments to purchase cabinets.
However going forward New River Valley Building Supply will be our first and recommended choice.
I know in this economy, cost have gone up and quality has suffered. But i can truly say based on cost and quality.
We believe our money was well spent for the products purchased and services provided.
So humbly i would like to thank Jacob Edmonds and the staff i interacted with at New River Valley Building Supply for there time and help.
I always state this is my humble and honest review based on my experience at this establishment. So the choice is always yours in the end.
But keep in mind i took the time to offer this review based on intial contact , purchase and delivery and after we had it installed and loaded.
For me and my wife these cabinets were the right purchase at the right price and from the right company.
So dont be cheap at buying cabinets. But also go with a budget in mind . For again as stated, you get what you pay for period.
This is my humble and honest review of New River Valley Building Supply.
Be well and blessed.
..

This is the most professional building supply I have encountered as a contractor in 12 plus years of buisness. The are extremely knowledgeable in thier products from ground up. Friendly for contractors and retail customers. Also the very best place to buy kitchen cabinets and countertops from

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
