New Orleans Handyman

I've used NO Handyman on two occasions. Once to install three some very heavy and complex window units and another time to install a shower door that had shattered in an all-glass shower. Both times they were efficient and effective. I would call them again (even though I hope not to have to).

I recently used them for 2 separate jobs. I love that I was able to reach out to them via their website and discuss the jobs through email. Both jobs were scheduled in a timely manner and completed when they said it would be. The workers were polite and thorough and I will use them again if needed. Great work!

I called New Orleans Handyman to hang 3 shelves. I rarely need a handyman, so this was my first request with them. I am a very satisfied customer. The office kept me updated as to when the technician would arrive, he arrived on time, and got the work done in 30 minutes. I will be calling them again.

The gentleman who completed my flooring installation were very detail oriented and professional. They did great work! The company is also very responsive and answers questions quickly while also being very transparent about pricing and other expectations.

Highly recommend! I've let them work in and around my house without me being home, and I know that I can trust them. I always come back to a job well done. The technicians are very communicative about when they are arriving and what they have gotten done for the day. I've used them for various tasks (big and small) about 3-4 times now, and I've always been happy!

Easy to get a virtual estimate and pay online. A++ Got the job done quickly and had an immediate solution for a design issue I’d been having with my baseboards. I’ve had issues in the past where handymen try to convince me to go the easier route or tell me it’s not possible. Brian listened to what I wanted and although simple he gave me a solution I loved.
I have ring cameras in my home, went back and checked and the workers are as stand up and trustworthy as it gets. Will be using again. Highly recommend.

Handy Hal is a lifesaver! We met this young man virtually and he put together a few pieces of furniture for us. The work was great, he was on time and responsive. So we decided to trust him completely.

Hal put together every piece of furniture in our Airbnb while we were out of state. Yup! 3 beds, kitchen table, 7 end tables, mounted (2)60 inch TV’s, hung multiple pictures on the wall, and also did some repairs. Hal coordinated with our decorator to get things done. Afterwards, we hired him for our daughter’s home.

We couldn’t have done this project without Handy Hal! Solid trustworthy guy!

Great job on venting an exterior door for hot water heater--efficiently done and door now looks like it was originally made with the vent. Also fixed two door latches that a locksmith had messed up. Recommended and will use NOLA Handyman in the future!

I am shocked to see this business has 5 stars. The work completed was fine, but to find out we were charged more than $600 for 3.5 hours of "work" (which included a lot of smoke breaks and down time) was unbelievable. They said they would come back two days later to finish the work, but we assumed they would charge us by the hour again, so we asked them not to come back. Then after they "chased" us for payment for 2 weeks (that's their word, not ours), and we expressed our frustration with the cost/value of the work, they basically said "too late." After much back and forth, they said they would come back out to finish the drywall without charging us more, but not fix the other holes they put in our walls. At that point, I said forget it - I don't want to deal with them anymore. Not to mention, the office manager is incredibly unprofessional and clearly not customer centric. Never in my life have I used a service through an LLC then been harassed every day following for 2 weeks. I begrudgingly paid the bill, but I will never use them again.

I've been using these guys for a few projects now and cannot say enough good things about the work they do. So fast! Their prices and scheduling are top notch. Highly recommend!

We hired Nola Handyman to demo an existing exterior deck and staircase and build a new one. Our communication with Nola Handyman was clear, concise, and very detailed as to what the project would entail, the materials needed, and the costs. We were alerted to a slight change in the construction and the minimal additional cost.The gentlemen who worked on the project were on time, very professional, and polite. They cleaned the site of any debris each day. They completed the work in the time frame promised. Once the project was done they sent pictures of the finished work. We are very pleased with our new staircase and will definitely use Nola Handyman for any future projects. We highly recommend them!

The phrase seamless experience is rarely associated with home repairs. But, that was certainly the case with New Orleans Handyman. Quick response, scheduling was very easy. My technician (Mike) was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He even offered long term solutions to the repairs requested. He went over and above with assistance. Everything was completed in a timely fashion, and the best part about it was EVERYTHING WAS COMPLETED. The efficiency alone is top notch. Please consider me a long time customer. I would highly recommend.

Replacing doors in a home built in the 1800s can be very challenging, however, there were certain aspects of the service that I was quoted on that were not provided:

-They did not remove the debris from the property.
-The workers did not want to paint the door which I was quoted on receiving.
-The workers did not have the lumber needed to install the door so I let them use some of mine.
-They did not install flashing on the exterior side of the door which will require me to install it to prevent water from getting into the home.

I specifically addressed the painting and flashing issues and they gave me $50 off the job but based on the quality of their work up to that point I figured it was going to be easier for me to do it myself correctly than to redo their paint job.

The door does function well now but I still have several more hours of work to do to finish the job.

Loved working with Jeremy and his crew! They are super friendly and helpful. All around a great company and I will definitely be using them in the future.

The crew did a great job putting up my exterior shutters that were handmade and thus needed extra attention to detail. They helped me trouble shoot issues and the results look wonderful. They are professional, attentive, they work clean and are affordable. I will be using them again in the future.

New Orleans Handyman service was reccomended to me, because I am based in Tampa Bay, but I had a Trade Show in New Orleans.
