It all started with the incompetence of employees, don't ask them any question. They can't answer anything and leave all the time, I wait for 20-30 minutes while he goes and comes back to me, they started poking that if I don't like it, I can turn around and get out so that these are my problems. They work illegally, they can't talk, they can't run forever. I won't recommend this company to anyone else! And I was just kicked out of the parking lot, they said for their employees!!! And there is no parking for customer!

I'm a truck driver and I was there for a pickup, it was after 4 on a Monday, they close at 4:30. The guys that work there were very helpful, trying to get me loaded. Good experience.

The customer service is exceptional. I'll admit I can be a tad annoying when I don't know what I'm looking for; I actually called back 3x and sent my contractor to them with a sample. Mike was so patient and so kind even when I was only over the phone. He helped me find the exact Harvard Slate, Royal Crest Double 4 design that I needed. He even helped me locate it in stock at their Bronx location. I'll head to the Bronx tomorrow to get what I need. Hopefully the Bronx folks are as great as the Whiteplains folks and then I'll have another wonderful review to write.

Last week I had the pleasure of speaking with Ms. Wanda Soto over the phone regarding roofing material for my home, and I felt absolutely compelled to write this review. It is not often that you speak to someone and you can tell that the person genuinely is there to support the customer. She not only did her job but showed that she is passionate, takes prides in what she does and really care about helping the customer. She went above and beyond in customer care. Thanks for your exceptional service.

I go there only if I really have to. I order cedar shake siding recently, I was calling every day for a week to make sure my order is transferred from Ramsey branch to White Plains on promised day. A lot of show and no go, on delivery day I was told that order was never placed! Sales person Bruce insisted me to go to Ramsey to pick up my siding, '' it's only 20min one way''. Sadly entire experience was waste of my time! Moreover stuff doesn't know their inventory and pricing, they are as bad as home depot . Getting estimate from them it's a huge hassle.

I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the higher prices than other supply houses. However, they always have everything I need in stock.

Great front desk.. and their service is unbeatable. they stock anything and everything GAF and a good line of siding and accessories. they carry James Hardie and stock Hardie trim as well. I run about 150 jobs a year... and I've always been more than satisfied with the service and support New Castle Provides.

they were very helpful in getting me a roof item I could not get anywhere else and made the returns of the extra very easy even with out the receipt.
