Chris and his team were great and I am very satisfied with the finished product. I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a siding project.

Giant resided our 1880’s home - it was not an easy job and they did an incredible job. The work was impeccable, the carpenters’ attention to detail was impressive, and the workers were all a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

Giant installed my Hardie Board years ago and did a nice job. But I had difficulties after the installation getting them back to complete a few unfinished items. Since then I've called them several times for a few minor repairs and Laure the office manager was extremely unprofessional; never returned my texts or answered my phone calls. If you're looking for great customer service this is not the company that I would recommend.

Good News! Perry the Owner reached out to me. Apologized for the administrative issue and resolved my issue. I'm a happy customer!

I've used Giant for a few projects over the years, including siding, windows, roof and gutters. For each project I've been very impressed with the results. They are great to work with, have extremely hard working crews, and offer fair pricing. I can't recommend them enough.

Giant Siding completed a full roof replacement for us. The communication and support was great and transparent and Chris and the team did a great job in managing the project. It took a quick 2 days and looks great.

Caveat emptor.

Giant Siding and Windows installed all our windows and new siding on a home we renovated from top to bottom. At the time, we thought they did a great job. That was in 2012, so about 12.5 years ago. The windows, we were told, came with a lifetime warranty, and Perry told us that even if a baseball were to break one of our windows that it would be replaced. The only issue now is that the company Perry got windows from, Thermal Industries, is no longer in business and Perry will not honor any warranty for the windows. As you can see, the caulking is coming out and this is really an installation issue that Perry and Giant should have fixed when I first brought this to their attention, more than a year or two ago. I guess providing good customer service is not worth their time.

There were other issues over the years. The siding seemed to pull away from the house. I will add those pics later. Now, most recently, I need to replace a couple of the cranks handles (we have all casement windows) and cannot get them because Thermal Industries is out of business. In 2018, Thermal industries shipped me two handles, and I picked up the $25 shipping and handling. When I turned to Perry and Giant, and Perry has not returned a call of mine in a couple of years, they did not have any solutions for replacing a broken handle.

Mind you, that when the windows and siding were originally installed my wife, who literally felt as if she was on her death bed, wrote a rave review for Perry and Giant. That was then. This is now, and this is the reality.

Proceed with caution.

Note that the reply from Perry and Giant fails to address their lack of a response to our calls, and that is inexcusable.

Giant was great! They were transparent every step of the way, and they accommodated several last minute requests I made. The work was completed in a timely fashion which was important to us because of previous experiences having projects go way beyond the initial time frame.

Great experience with Giant and their team!! Showed up every day, paid attention to detail, cleaned up the end of every day and at completion! Very happy with outcome of job! Transformed the house! Special shout out to Chris our Giant project manager!

The Giant team was amazing to work with. We had a bad experience with a different contractor in the past on a project so we were nervous about hiring the right contractor for our siding and window replacement job.

Perry at Giant put us at ease right away and Chris and team were incredible professionals throughout the process even with some hiccups along the way. The finished product speaks for itself but what we found very valuable was Chris and team were great communicators throughout the process with clear and honest feedback as the project was moving along. Chris was also constantly checking in with us on whether the project met our expectations and was highly responsive when we needed to communicate.

The window and siding teams worked hard throughout the frigid month of February and delivered on time (accounting for weather-related delays and some unforeseen hiccups). I would enthusiastically recommend Giant to anyone looking for a great contractor for siding and windows.

Perry and his team were great to work with. They couldn’t be more accommodating to our needs. They did a great job of explaining the process, their companies history and the products they work with. We had a few setbacks working with our other contractors and the guys at Giant were extremely patient and understanding and were able to get the job done in a timely fashion.

Giant resided our entire house in the coldest winter in decades. They worked tirelessly, showing up every morning on time in frigid snowy weather to do an impeccable job. They stripped 40 year-old cedar siding that the woodpeckers had been thoroughly enjoying, and put up Hardee Board. Giant replaced all the trim, vents, shutters and gutters and reinstalled the outdoor lights and outlets. They did an impeccable job and we are thrilled with the new look. We got to change the color of our house without having to paint and will never have to paint again. The workmen were professional and courteous, All around nice guys to work with from management to staff to on-site laborers! I can’t say enough to recommend them. Plus we priced them against two other competitors who we had worked with before and Giant was lower priced and had a the much shorter completion timeline!

The Giant approach was a great fit for us. From the tech forward sales and design process to the reliable communication from the team before, during, and after the project. We were never left wondering when work would start or stop or when materials would arrive. The team worked tirelessly through challenging cold weather and the house looks great. We look forward to enjoying high quality, low maintenance siding for years to come.

Giant did our siding this past fall and we could not be happier with the job. We interviewed a handful of siding companies and they really sold us with their presentation. They have a very organized system and it was easy stay in contact with the project managers throughout the process. The job took about a week and they had the same crew on site each day. Results were great, cleanup was well done and communication was top notch. We would highly recommend them.

Wanted to give a shout out to Chris and his team for doing an A+ job on siding for our house in Larchmont. It looks like a brand new, totally new & improved house! Chris provided us with updates as the work was getting done and had great communication. Also - and maybe I shouldn’t say this - but they actually finished early, a full two weeks before the estimated date of completion. Thats not just unexpected but virtually unheard of with any construction work. Again, highest recommendation here!

Giants siding crew were very punctual which I consider a very important factor. Everyone showed up when they were scheduled.
The competence of all on the job site was outstanding from the project manager Chris , to the carpenter Tony and the crew that took my home apart and put it together beautifully. The Hardie product looks awesome . Can’t wait to sit outside and cut my lawn and look at how satisfying it is .
Had a French door replaced with a slider , kitchen window , metal roof over front porch with a cable railing they totally updated my home .
My only issue was cleanup yes it was cold out and then snow came . They said they would come back in the before spring if it needs attention .
Very professional I would hire again and I am, just found out some seals on windows that weren’t change need to be changed .

Of the unit owners. . Communication was excellent as the project progressed. The work site was a minimum of disruption for a large project.

These guys did a great job replacing all my windows, doors, and siding. They also refaced my decking. It was a big job with a few suprises, but they never said it couldn't be done. Veey happy with the results.

It’s not only the quality of the material and workmanship but also the quality of the people who do the work and/or supervise the project.

Very unprofessional, instead of sending someone out to look at a job like most contractors, Giant insists on a Zoom call. Their office staff said that the only way to proceed was a Zoom call and that if I did not want to have a Zoom call, then I should find someone else. I should have taken her advice. After I reached out to the owner, he agreed to send someone out. After a week goes by, still no proposal and both the owner and estimator are dodging my calls. Finally the owner gets back to me and tells me that my job is too small… If it was too small a job, why wouldn’t the estimator say that while he was there and try to upsell me and tell me the minimum they have to do especially after we specifically discussed that I would need to redo the rest of the siding in the next few years-just not too smart. Considering he bad mouthed all his competitors and according to him he is the only qualified installer of James Hardie, I guess I’ll just have to learn to do it myself.

We recently purchased a house in Westchester, and knew we wanted to refresh the outside. After meeting with a few different siding and roofing companies we decided to go with Giant Siding. Perry is an expert when it comes to the business and knew how to help us narrow down some colors and what combinations worked with the James Hardie colors we were leaning toward. It’s hard to make such a big decision using a tiny sample so Perry was able to share some pictures of previous jobs and locations to see different color siding and roofs, which truly helped with our indecision. Perry was also very helpful in giving us some insight on other things we could do to our house to help make it look the way we wanted and tossed some ideas out that we hadn’t even thought of. We ordered a color that was back ordered a couple months, but the whole team was helpful when keeping us up to date on timeline and when teams would be able to come in and do our roof and come through after for the siding. Chris was our project manager and was great through the process, constantly checking and making sure we got certain things done before the crew got on property. He visited the site everyday for a walk through when the project got started and asked if we needed anything while here. He was very thorough and always kept us up to date on start and finishing expectations. The crews we had were amazing, the roof took a day with about 8 people working from start to finish. The siding team was great, all friendly, and hard working and got the job done in about 10 days. All in all we got lucky with not having any issues to account for when they started the project, but if anything would have popped up Chris would have been the first to let us know. We really enjoyed working with Giant, Perry and Chris. All very professional, helpful, and patient as we made this big decision. It has come out beautifully, and we’ve already gotten a lot of nice compliments from our neighbors on the job. Would definitely refer them in the future.

I would give Giant Siding and Windows 100 stars if I could. Working with Chris and the crew was great on a daily basis for the week they were here. The quality of work was top notch, the speed at which the crew did the work was outstanding, and the care as well as consideration they showed my property and me was really appreciated. We had Giant install vinyl siding, and after a bit of time, the siding started to melt from the reflection from our neighbor's window. Apparently this is a thing that can happen! Once we remediated the reflection issue, Giant replaced the damaged siding free of charge. Thank you for the generous and helpful service!

I highly recommend Giant Siding & Windows for any of your siding and roofing needs. I initially chose this company because they were one of the preferred vendors of James Hardie. But other than being a preferred vendor, the owner Perry was completely honest and transparent about the entire process. I have never seen a contractor walk through every detail of the process even before the project started. Once the project was underway, it was managed very well by their project manager Cameron who was onsite and available everyday to give status updates throughout. They were always reachable if you had a question, any time of the day. Most importantly they honored and committed to their timelines and ensured the project was done in an expeditious manner without sacrificing quality. Giant Siding is very professional, respectful and attentive to each and every detail and I can’t rave enough on happy I am with the completion of the siding project. My house looks brand new and I will definitely be using them in the future for roofing needs. I highly recommend this company and you will be more than satisfied!

We had Giant replace half our windows and completely replace all the siding and trim. They did a fantastic job. I was nervous to reside because we have an old house and I was worried about losing the character. But Perry was great about talking through all the options and it came out amazing looking! Bottom line, when can you say that a home improvement project went more smoothly than you thought and turned out better than you’d hoped? Thanks to the entire crew!

UPDATE (12/7/23): Giant recently came out and mounted the doorbell and flagpole. They did a great job on our house and we're very happy with the final product.

First, I want to acknowledge that Giant Siding initially did a good job on our house. However, it's regrettable that I have to write this negative review due to an incomplete job that has persisted for two months.

The crew spent two weeks meticulously installing siding, but they forgot the simple task of remounting our Ring doorbell and flagpole, which remains unresolved despite numerous requests. The owner has made promises, but nothing has been done.

Despite the owner's recent apology and promise of completion, the job is still unfinished. The lesson we've learned is not to release final payment until all work is done. Giant Siding left us with an incomplete project, and they have not followed through on their commitments.

It truly is a shame as, if not for from this issue, this would have been a much different review.

Very professional company with good communication throughout the project. The team is obviously very skilled and experienced. They did a great job and customer service went above and beyond expectations.

We search long and hard to find a company that would do a really good professional job on our house. We interviewed many contracting companies but Giant stood out among the rest. What sold us on Giant firstly was Perry! He was very transparent about the procedure, so patient and accommodating. He explained the procedure, answered a million questions. Upon request he gave us addresses of houses that Giant had done in Westchester so we could see how a completed house would look. When we requested to speak to some of the homeowners, he made that possible as well.

The materials for the construction as well as the dumpster and the Porta potty arrived on time and were removed in a timely manner at the end of the job.. His crew was excellent! They worked extremely hard. They were very polite and respectful. Perry and Cameron from Giant were always available to answer our questions and came around as the work proceeded. At the end of the job, they did an excellent job of cleaning everything.
I am thrilled with the way my house came out! I highly recommend Giant!!!

Their estimate was reasonable and everyone was really patient and detailed with us for our project from start to finish. Cameron was our daily point of contact and he was top notch. Very communicative, professional and detailed as well. And last, we really enjoyed working with Tony, who manages the construction and crew. This was a huge investment for us and we are so thankful to have worked with Giant. They showed up exactly time, did top quality work, were priced competitively, and were happy and professional throughout the entire process...what more can you ask for? Eventually we will need to replace our windows and we will be using them again.

Don't use Giant! My roof shingles have been lifting since day one. My roof looks awful and Perry has a million excuses why the shingles are lifting. He has come to reglue the shingles and they continue to lift. The shingles were not properly installed, but Perry refuses to admit it.

We used Giant for residing of our house. Their quote was HALF of what another local competition came in at. The team showed up promptly at 8:00 am each day and worked hard all day long till quitting time at 6pm. In the process we ran into a few structural issues that Giant priced fairly and got the problem fixed extremely quickly. We had the work done while our kids were home on Easter break and the guys could not have been more patient with the kids playing outdoors etc. The team was very friendly and true masters of their craft!!! The outcome was way past our expectations! Our roof needs replacing and Giant will start next week as well as build a new deck for us! We HIGHLY recommend Giant.

After 38 years of cedar shingles, it was time to invest in Hardie planks. As a retired home builder, I was determined to hire the best quality crew possible. From that first zoom call with Perry, I knew I was working with the right company. Professional, courteous, and hard-working, they finished on time and on budget. Giant Siding was professional and did a beautiful job on my home. They even came on a Sunday to do a repair. Perry, Pedro and Victor are the best!

Perry didn’t do what was in the contract, and some of the windows installed are drafty. Giant replaced siding, gutters, front door, and most of the first-floor windows on my 1951 constructed cape cod.

The windows were replaced mid-February 2021. Alfonso and a helper replaced original windows in my sunroom with sliders. Alfonso told me he would return the following Monday as snow was forecast the next day. Although Alfonso told me he would not return until the following Monday, he showed up the next day by himself.
Alfonso was impervious to the fact that he gave no notice. He had no one to assist him. Alfonso started by removing my dining room window. He took the entire window out, and left it out most of the day. He used this opening to throw out the other windows in my living room and kitchen he removed. My heating thermostat is in the dining room. I turned heat off, retreated to the bedroom, closed door to keep cold air out.
Late in the afternoon Alfonso asked to replace the bedroom windows. I told him not to bother as it was already late, and don’t forget snow is coming. News 12 was reporting snow was imminent. Alfonso refused to accept my suggestion. He told me if he did the bedroom windows he would only have to come back 1/2 day to finish up.
it started to snow. I heard water running and went to the bathroom to see why. Alfonso had 3 cans of spray foam insulation in my sink, running hot water over them.
The windows he had just installed in bedroom were drafty as hell. I called him and asked him to come inside and feel how drafty the windows were. It was dark outside, and snow was sticking on the road. Alfonso stood outside, said maybe I missed some spots (with the spray foam insulation). And then he promptly left.
The windows were so drafty I put blankets and towels over them. temperature outside was mid 20’s.

I promptly complained to Perry. I complained to Alfonso when he returned on Monday. After Monday the windows were less drafty, but definitely inferior to the original 70 year old original windows they replaced. Cold air continues to seep in from under the windows today.
Perry convincingly told me problems with the windows would resolve when the siding was installed.

The scope of work included installation of new rigid ¾’ foam insulation. insulation was not installed. Architect told me windows do not appear to have proper flashing, taping, or sealing. His opinion was the windows would leak, meaning air from exterior would enter house.
The architect forwarded installation instructions from Hardie and told me that Hardie requires vertical seams in house wrap to be taped. This also was not done. Perry’s response was the architect had old installation instructions and this requirement had been changed in an updated version. I called Hardie directly and the Hardie rep confirmed the installation instructions I had were the most recent version. I called Perry. He responded to my email by asking me to call him. When I spoke with him, he responded he is an elite preferred installer for a reason. Perry told me insulation was not needed.

I have been told that if the windows were taped air leakage would be less. The same for the vertical seams on the house wrap as required in the Hardie Installation instructions.
I have been told that the insulating R-value of my walls are likely less that before I put on the Hardie Plank. That is because cedar shingles have a higher R-value that Hardie Plank with no insulation. IAlso have been told that spray foam cans were likely too cold and that's why Alfonso was running hot water on them. When the foam is too cold, it doesn't cure property and you get drafty windows/air infiltration. I spent too much money to feel cold air coming through my walls in winter. I am not pleased with the result. It looks nice, but it ain’t comfortable. It is not an improvement
