This is the 2nd time I used CertaPro for my NYC apartment. Excellent job, very professional and competitive price. I highly recommend them.

We’ve used CertaPro Painters of Southern Westchester twice in the past year. First to paint the exterior of our house, and then again to finish a Sheetrock wall and do some interior painting. The work was top-notch and the prices were fair and reasonable. We’ve seen our neighbors have some really bad experiences with other paint companies, and we will only use CPPSW. Kevin Ponce, the lead on setting up the project, is highly professional and patient, and very helpful in getting everything set up for the project. Karina Capozzelli, the production manager came around near completion of the interior work to make sure everything was done properly and make any adjustments as needed. This was a great benefit because she has a trained eye and really knows her stuff. Both the interior and exterior crews were very courteous and professional and did the work quickly, carefully and correctly. On the exterior project, we discovered a couple of items that were not immediately obvious because they only could be seen uphill from our house and that needed a bit of touch up, We called CPPSW and they had a crew come out the next day to handle it. Excellent service. My wife and I are very satisfied with all of their work and recommend them highly.

CertaPro Painters did exterior carpentry, power washed, and painted our house recently. Overall the experience was a positive one. The entire crew was very professional and hard working. The crew showed up on time daily and job was completed in set timeframe. Feed back to questions were both informative and done in a professional way. I would recommend and use their service again.

CertaPro Painters power washed the siding of my home and my decks, replaced a deck board, and applied solid stain to the decks. I am very pleased with the results. Everyone was professional and friendly. The price seemed reasonable. I would call them again for future projects.

Certa Pro did a great job painting the whole interior of my house and also painting the kitchen cabinets. They were always responsive, and left my house spotless. I recommend them without hesitation.

Years ago -- seven! -- we hired CertaPro Painters of Southern Westchester to paint the window trim on our Victorian house in Tarrytown. At the time, the company had a different owner. The work was done while we were away, and it wasn't until the summer of that year when, attempting to open the windows, we found most of them had been painted shut. Figuring that too much time had passed to rectify the situation, we let it go.

Fast forward to 2024. After one last attempt to open our windows and failing, I contacted CertaPro Painters of Southern Westchester. Now under completely different ownership, and with every reason to NOT stand behind the work done years ago, CertaPro instead sent out their staff to assure us that the work would be corrected. Again, this is not the same ownership that performed the original work, but they stood behind the work anyway. (Try finding a service ethic like that today!)

The painters who took on the corrective action were friendly, extremely professional, coordinated and talented. The windows were made to open, with no damage or dings to the windows or paintwork. The clean-up was thorough. This was not an easy job: the house is three stories, and the windows had to be approached by ladder from the outside. (We have plantings right up against the house that were carefully spared from any ladder damage, and we're grateful for that as well.)

For several years we have planned to paint our garage. We finally decided and requested bids from three painters. While the bids were competitive, we had a high degree of confidence in CertaPro. Indeed they had been recommended by a source we trusted. As a result, we engaged CertaPro Painters of Westchester to paint our garage and do "something" (epoxy) with the garage floor. In addition, we had them paint an accent wall in our living room.

I highly recommend CertaPro painters. They painted the exterior of our house and did a great job. They were very communicative, and willing to answer all of my questions and concerns in a very timely manner. My only complaint would be about some paint spilled on grass in a few places, and one plant getting squashed, but perhaps these things are inevitable in a job like this. They worked quickly and efficiently, even on super hot days. I was impressed with how quickly they finished the job.

I would highly recommend Certa Pro painters. I had them paint and repair a peeling ceiling and paint and repair my wooden deck. They took the time to listen to all my concerns, and completed the jobs with skill and efficiency. They are a very professional and quality company.

This was a painless experience. From the first call I placed until the finish date. Anthony met me at the residence to go over what needed to be painted. We set a date and it was good from there.
When the painters arrived we needed some extra patching work. There were no questions, they took care of it.

Just moved into our new Co-op and was frantically looking for quality professional painters to do the job as soon as possible so my GF and I can move our stuff in and set up our new home. My Dad recommended CertaPro and said they did an amazing job on their garage before they sold their house. Called up, and they sent Tony Pullano out to do an estimate. He was excellent, he took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done. There is a lot of intricate molding and trim around our new place and he was precise on what needed to be done. The crew arrived and they did beyond professional work. Tony gave me a number to contact for easy financing for the job whom I called and would have to admit it was the best experience I ever had when dealing with credit. Less than 5 minutes on the phone and they immediately sent half the balance to the crew to start with nothing out of pocket. We couldn't be more happy with how it all came out. Would recommend to anyone and everyone and would DEFINETELY use again for all my painting needs. If I needed to call, or text at any time, day or night about my concerns were regarding the project, he would answer right away! My wife and I have wanted to get the interior of our home repainted for over a year. We last painted 22 years ago. We contacted various local contractors who gave us reasonable estimates, but were not clear on how long the project would take and suggested that there might be additional costs incurred as the project progressed.
After years of hearing the CertaPro commercials on radio, I decided to contact their local team. I made the initial appointment on the website and was contacted by them that day to confirm the date and time. The company representative Tony, arrived right on time and, after doing a room by room walk through with us to discuss what we wanted done, proceeded to measure each room, take pictures and thoroughly document everything we discussed via verbal recording. Tony was able to give us an immediate estimate afterwards. Also, the timeline for the completion of the project of a week and a half, provided the painters could work on Saturdays, was better than any other contractor offered. The estimate was better than expected, and we agreed to proceed with the project. The contract (with all relevant pictures, measurements and pricing information) was sent to us via e-mail that evening. Once the contract was signed the office contacted us and a start date arranged.
The crew arrived promptly on the day of the project start date. The supervisor, Luis, had all the project information, and we did a full walk through of the house prior to starting and planned the sequencing of the project to allow for minimal disruption. We also gave them permission to keep their equipment in the house to minimize the time required for their daily setup. The only issue we had was that we were no longer sure of the paint color choices we made prior to contacting CertaPro. Jai, the project manager, arrived a few minutes after the crew arrived and was able to assist my wife in choosing the colors. He went room by room and made great suggestions which allowed her to make the color choices. The color choices were finalized via a formal e-mail and the crew supervisor had the paint onsite the following morning.
The crew began to work in the sequence that was outlined during the walk through. They carefully moved and covered the furniture and protected the floor. They were efficient and well-practiced. They prepped our bedroom first and put it back together that evening. The following day they completed the bedroom, which really minimized any disruption to us. The crew supervisor came every day to inspect the progress and to discuss it with us. Jai also came by on day two of the project to insure all was proceeding as planned.
The best part of the experience and the one that made going with CertaPro worthwhile was that, even with the wall repairs, the project was completed in four days. The crew worked from 8:30 to 4:30 every day, but they were so efficient that everything contracted was accomplished to include clean up and the resetting of the furniture. A final, detailed walk through was done with the supervisor prior to the crew leaving. We were very satisfied with the end result and happy that we were able to start a much-needed vacation a week earlier.
I will certainly recommend CertaPro to anyone who asks. Prompt response, professional and transparent service and no hidden fees or costs make this company and their Westchester-based team number one in my book.

Having had an excellent experience with Certa Pro of Warwick, NY when I lived in Orange County 15 years ago, I didn’t hesitate to look up this locally owned division for the interior of my condo apartment in White Plains. They didn’t disappoint. From the initial consultation to the finishing touches, they were prompt, professional and helpful in their suggestions. The prep included repairing some bubbling sheetrock tape, minor nail holes and defects. The work was done in a timely fashion and the cleanup was well done. I will call them again for y next project in the bedroom.

All the guys were great, professional and courteous. They were perfectionists in their work, cleaned everything up. I had an issue with not being able to open a vent and they came back and fixed it quickly. Perfect job!

It may be just another sign of the times we are in, but I thought the price for the scope of the work was a little pricey...thus only 4 stars v. 5.

Certapro did a great job on my garage floor. In fact my painter recommended them because he doesn't do the specialized garage floor painting that they do.

Excellent choice for exterior painting. They arrived on time with a large crew who were able to complete the project sooner then expected. They were meticulous with sanding, sealing, painting and clean up. The price was about 10% less then our other bids. I will definitely use this contractor again!
