We had a leak in our roof and needed to also remove and old metal chimney. We got a few bids and went with NCRoofing because unlike the other contractors who stayed on the ground to bid the job, these guys went all through the attic and all over the roof to make sure there wasn't anything else that needed attention. They were easy to work with, showed up on time and did a great job. We will call you again when we are ready for a new roof!

Our shingles were sliding from a horrible previous installation (by the former owner as part of the sale). We wanted a roofing company that would do a full replacement with their own crew (not sub it), inspect and fix all of the damage like it was the roof on their home, be transparent with us about material quality, bring experience and expertise that was clearly missing during the last installation, and give us great value for the price. NC Roofing did not disappoint! This family team does the work themselves, did an amazing job they are proud of, and paid attention to all of the details. They replaced every piece of water-damaged sheathing with good CDX, connected all vent piping to their roof exits (not previously done during construction), checked for and corrected hotspots they found where stagnant air was being trapped, photo-logged and communicated throughout all of their work, and spent the time to shore up several of our sagging rafters that were probably originally installed bowed and cracked. I've also never seen a roofing crew in the 13 years we've lived in our neighborhood clean as regularly and thoroughly as NC Roofing to make sure our little kiddos wouldn't step on a single nail in our yard. They even set up plywood boards between their waste trailer and our home to properly direct debris, which I've never seen anyone do. Little things make a tremendous difference to me, and I'm glad I hired NC Roofing to cover it all. Our finished product looks professional and should now last the 25-30 years that good shingles installed correctly are meant to!

NCRoofing was great to work with! After a strong rain storm, we noticed a leak in our main bathroom fan vent.

The team came out the same day when I called and they found the issue very quickly. It turns out that a pipe that was installed had cracked. I received and estimate for the repairs (and some additonal roof cleaning) by the end of the day.

By the end of the week, the team came back and performed the repairs in less than 3 hours, and they even found some minor additional roof issues that were resolved to prevent future problems.

The costs were reasonable, the quality of service was excellent (itemized invoice and pictures to document the work that was performed), and the team was very friendly and professional.

We are very happy with the results and loom forward to working with NCRoofing again in the future!

I noticed a leak via a stain in one of my closet in November. It was raining heavily and my husband was out of town of course. I googled for roof repair and found NC Roofing. They came the next day and from the first moment I trusted them. This is a family business ran by Father and 3 sons. They care about their reputation and the quality of the work they do. They are friendly, knowledgeable, take a lot of pictures (important since I don't want to go up there!), responsive, work with great efficiency and effectiveness, clean up after themselves, and make you feel like you are the most important client they have. I felt the price they charged me was reasonable, but in all fairness I didn't have the time to shop around. In the end, I was really grateful I found them, because a leak in the roof can cause a lot of expensive damage. They also told me that the moss on the roof can cause additional leaks by preventing the water to run off, and I was able to schedule a roof cleaning with them within a few days. Again, the work they did was excellent and they took lots of pictures of the finished roof. They also were able to assess the overall condition of the roof and give me some advice on when to replace it. In the end, I couldn't be happier and wish every small business was run with the care and customer service as NC Roofing. Thank you so much!

Angel and his team were quick, responsive, communicative and more than fairly priced in the repair work completed on our roof this winter.

We were in need of moss cleaning and also replacement of roof vents installed by a different roofing contractor who had replaced our roofing about thirteen years before. Angel reassured us that the roof itself had several more years of service left, with proper maintenance. Angel also found the closest match he could for our discontinued architectural-shingle design for those areas around the vents needing patching.

The vents (installed by the prior contractor) were improperly installed and plastic, which had resulted in cracked and leaking flanges on a few of them. Angel replaced all vents and pipe jacks with custom-home quality components that should last through the remaining life of our existing roof and likely through the life of a new roof when it comes time.

The masonry chimney was also re-flashed in a more contemporary manner (notched into the brick) and looks great!

I was pleasantly surprised to see the above-and-beyond step of painting all of the galvanized and iron plumbing vents while installing the new pipe jacks -- the result looks superior to even the ABS or PVC on new construction!

Angel and team also installed a thermostatic electric attic fan-vent at our request to help with cooling in the summer months.

Angel also provided documentation that we were able to provide to our home insurance assuring that our roof had several more years of life left.

We will keep NC Roofing in mind for any future roofing and gutter needs.

During a gutter replacement, we found out we needed to replace the fascia boards - Angel at NC was recommended to us by the gutter company - superb, fast response to get started, worked with us and the weather and ended up doing the job on a Sunday. Great communications, and great job. Thoroughly recommend - if we ever need more roof work we are going right back to NC.

I had roof shingles that got blown off my roof by the recent snow storms in Portland. We called 3 roofing companies including the one that recently did work on our roof back in August 2023.

Only Angel from NC Roofing responded. We made an appointment to replace the missing shingles for the following Tuesday. Shortly after however, water started to leak from the ceiling of our bathroom. So we asked Angel if he can come out on a Sunday (instead of waiting for Tuesday). We are so glad he did! He came promptly and replaced all the missing shingles. No more leaks in our bathroom. :-)

Great experience working with Angel and NC Roofing, highly recommend. I had 5 different quotes and they were the most detailed in addressing my issues. Angel and his guys did a great job, and were even willing to work on a holiday weekend. The finished work looks great. They finished the job of removing the old roof, replacing a bunch of sheathing, reroofing, and getting gutters replaced in just 2 days. They also left my yard cleaner then when they showed up for the start of the job. I would highly recommend NC Roofing. I can't speak too much as far as pricing goes, they were less than the top end of my budget so I didn't feel the need to get several more quotes based on the reviews and recommendations here. (I did get 1 other quote before hand that was literally twice the price).

NC Roofing is a family business that delivers quality work, in an emergency on a Saturday repairing my cedar shake roof from extensive damage from raccoons, and when installing a new composition roof on a small garage at my rental property. They arrived with quality materials to do the work in the emergency situation, and had the incentive to adapt and problem solve for the unexpected in the case of the small garage composition roofing at my rental where their priority was leaving a thorough, quality roofing job. They not only do good work, they leave the area clean and the yard in good condition. I will call them again as needed.
