Deck Brothers did a fantastic job on my deck. We bought a house with an older wooden deck and wanted it repaired so it will last as long as possible, as well as needing a much-needed refinishing on the surfaces. Got several quotes but ended up going with Jordan & his crew for several reasons: He took the most thorough look at the deck, including underneath and the sides, and was very straightforward with me. I was really appreciative of Jordan's willingness to explain structural concerns and show examples. The work was completed and Jordan even came by afterward to address some lingering concerns/questions I had after the paint had dried. Looking forward to enjoying our deck for many more summers!

We live in Happy Valley on a hill. We hired the Deck Brothers to stabilize two decks that we felt unsafe using plus rebuild/ paint as improvements. I needed to replace the tops of the stairs (the treads) leading up to my house. I understood that everyone was going to want me to replace the whole deck. Jordan came out, looked at the job, and AGREED with me that we should Only replace the treads. I was shocked! And then, and then, and then! He gave me a price of $600! I paid him on the spot.

On Monday, Michael showed up. He took off the decaying treads. He replaced them with beautiful new treads. Michael took his time, and made sure everything was done correctly. He was courteous and polite. And in the end it was beautiful! Deck Brothers was that impossibly rare conjunction of quality service and low price. They cannot be beat!

Didn’t hire just yet! But the team was super responsive, polite and I would say gave us a no hassle idea of a price range that we are looking at for the project we are planning.

I contacted Jordan for an estimate and suggestions on a replacement deck at my residence. I had several quotes for my project and this one was not the cheapest. But you definitely get what you pay for. In this case, a high quality deck that will last a long time and looks fantastic.

Deck Brothers just completed our deck, and we couldn’t be more pleased. A new deck was a huge investment to our home so choosing the right people to understand our needs and work within our budget was a huge win, Jordan and Shane made it happen for us. Shane’s eye for detail and his commitment to the job, even in rain, snow and freezing temperatures, were outstanding. We had several starts and stops but with PNW weather you have to expect it. Working in mud, snow and two dogs to corral was not ideal but I will tell you Shane made the best of it.
We wanted waterfall steps, so we didn’t have to block our view with railing, definitely a chore, but they turned out beautiful. Shane also installed a nice privacy screen for the hot tub area. We went with AZEK vintage in Cypress so the maintenance will be much less compared to our old wood deck. We will definitely keep Deck Brothers in mind for any other projects in the future. Jordan, Zack and Sklyar did an an exceptional job rebuilding two big complicated decks at my house.

Back in summer 2024 I realized that the decks at our home were on their last legs and I needed to look into replacing them. I reached out to various deck contractors . Jordan got back to me very quickly, and spent 90 minutes on the phone one evening talking through various considerations and helping me understand what the project might entail. I was impressed with the responsiveness and thoroughness right off the bat. Did my diligence by getting a whole slew of quotes from local deck builders. There were only two that I seriously considered in the end, the only ones that demonstrated an obvious depth of knowledge and expertise. I decided to go with Deck Brothers, since Jordan had been so helpful up front.

It was October before we got the project rolling, and it just wrapped up early Jan 2025, so it was certainly a big undertaking. Took a little longer than I had hoped, but the attention to detail and the overall craftsmanship were outstanding. Lots of problem solving along the way, always dealt with in a clear and collaborative manner.

So I am a very happy customer. Will probably hire them again this summer for some another smaller project.

Jordan was hugely helpful when we needed a quote on replacing a rotted deck railing at a home we were purchasing . He gave tons of info on what needed to be done, what a repair would entail and what a full replacement would cost. This was time sensitive due to ongoing negotiations with the seller and Jordon was very prompt and diligent in his response to my inquiry. Based on this experience, I highly recommend .

Great work at a very competitive price. They replaced a wood front and back patio deck and paid attention to very detail. There were some items we wanted to have a more modern look and feel to and they kept in communication with ever detail of the upgrade.

If a business can't hire professional drivers, I'll never use their service. Had one of their people pull a right turn on red and cut me off. I honked as I had to swerve around them, just to have them change lanes, honk and glare at me, then cut off a driver further up before getting back into the same lane and merging to the highway. If you work as discourteously as you drive, I recommend others stay away.

We were delighted to have had the Deck Brothers do an extremely professional resurfacing of our front deck. I called they responded quickly gave me a quote which was amazingly doable. The job was done with great respect to our property. They are very fabulous. I will in the future call them again.

We needed a quick job done on our deck to reinforce the railings, bring things up to code, and re-stain our deck while replacing boards that had outlived their life span. We called Jordan at Deck Bros, he was out the next day, provided a quick reasonable estimate and had to complete the job in a rush. We were getting our house ready to sell and were on a very tight schedule to get it listed. I called Jordan and he came out that same day to take a look at our ur deck for repairs and paint. In between the rain and his busy schedule, he squeezed us in!

Their experience in decks is ok, not too hard to build one. But what makes me concerned is their lack of care for other things. One guy and some black girl(using it as a descriptor of who not of race) They pulled in front of a bmw, tried to get it to rear end them. They came within 20 inches of the bmw rear ending them. In Oregon its always the person in the backs fault. But I would testify against these people, there is something extremely suspicious about a company that tries to get into an accident on purpose.

This guy shouldn't be allowed near anyones home, if they are willing to comit fraud on the road then they will do it anywhere. It used to be that a company was only looked at for their work. But now when I see a company do this outside the job site, I know they are trouble and should be investigated

Jordan was friendly and quickly gave us a reasonable quote for our new deck build, with options on how to keep the price within our budget. I believe Deck Brothers is a smaller company, but they build high quality decks and obviously take pride in their work. Jordan frequently updated us on the status of our project - the best communication we’ve ever had from a contractor. Very happy with our new deck!

These guys are excellent at what they do! This was a small deck, but the difficulty was they had to work both during the demolition and construction back-and-forth over a concrete block wall because that’s the only way in. Most of the work was in the pouring rain, and these guys poured all the concrete footings, set beams all the while working in the rain. This deck is extremely sturdy. I would expect my house to fall down before it ever will. They went above and beyond. I would highly recommend them.

I just needed a quick surgical replacement of some decaying boards and Jordan did a great job at a reasonable price. I’m very happy with the experience.

I recently used Deck Brothers for a deck repair, where the previous builder had cut a number of corners building the deck and it had begun to list at a significant angle. Deck Brothers did a FABULOUS job building a new deck for us at our rental property last fall (Nov 2022). The project required demolition of an approximate 800sf rotten cedar deck. The crew had the old deck demo'd, hauled away and cleaned up in a matter of 2 days. The new deck design was much simpler - a basic rectangle with a single straight stairway off the front. Jordan made great recommendations on materials and had lots of experience to back his opinions. We ultimately chose TimberTech composite decking with Fortress aluminum railings. Jordan also had great ideas regarding the design/color of the boards and rails. Jordan communicated frequently on the crew's status throughout the project, often sending photos and video footage to document their progress. The finished product was not only beautiful, but rock solid, thanks to the upgraded beams and additional stair supports that Jordan suggested. The new deck was delivered on time and without issue. We couldn't be more pleased with Deck Brothers!

Deck Brothers rebuilt an awning on my house this winter and did an excellent job! An older awning self-installed by the previous owner was causing a leak in our roof and needed to be replaced. Given the heavy rain recently, we were on a quick timeline to get the situation remedied. Jordan was understanding of the situation and was able to remove the existing awning rapidly so we could get the roof repaired, even working on a weekend the week of Christmas to get it done.

The project to replace the awning was also scheduled quickly and the project was completed a little over a month after getting in initial contact with Jordan. A minor mishap occurred during the project where the gutter on our house was damaged, but Jordan did not hesitate to offer to get it repaired at no cost to us.

As a new homeowner, every decision is daunting. There was a major issue with the front porch, and as this is the place where you welcome people into your home, it was extremely important to me that it was attended to properly. I had reached out to a couple folks to get quotes, and most had flaked. Within a day of sending my request, I got a call from Jordan. The amount quoted was more than I expected, but it was understandable, given the size and scope of the project. It was apparent that there were many terrible attempts to fix the issue in previous years, and that the front porch needed a full replacement. My new home has been around for over a century, and I didn't want to completely ruin the character of it. He took my concerns to heart and did his best to ensure that we kept the aesthetic, while shoring up the foundation and using the proper materials to make sure this porch would last. To make a long story short, everything about this project was not easy, but Jordan and his brother Darren were there everyday - problem-solving and working endlessly to construct a solid front porch. The final product looks phenomenal, and I've received many compliments about it. This was not a short project by any means, but they finished as quickly as they could and within reason of the budget. Quality work is not cheap! I'm finally getting around to decorating, so I'll try to update the review with a picture when I get a chance. I really appreciate all of the time, effort, and attention it took the Deck Brothers to turn Big B into the front porch I've always wanted! Thank you!

Jordan and crew repaired my weather-worn cedar deck and replaced my storm-damaged patio awning. Jordan gave me excellent recommendations for improvements to the design of my deck and awning and they did a fabulous job making it a reality. The crew was professional, cordial and thorough. We contracted the Deck Brothers to help design and build a ground level deck and awning to cover a hot tub. They also poured the concrete slab for the hot tub. They were easy to work with, cost competitive, and paid attention to detail. Due to the multiple moving pieces (trenching, paving, electrical, hot tub, etc) the project took longer than expected, but Jordan and his crew were patient and provided support to make sure the project went as smooth as possible. Some of the work had to happen while we were out of town, so they sent videos and texts updating me on the status and clarifying details.

The end result is gorgeous and will be enjoyed for years. I would highly recommend them.

This is a follow up on a project Deck Brothers completed this summer. After the initial job we decided we wanted to make some changes; move the location of the deck stairs and raise the height of the newly constucted pergola to accomodate a newly purchased Travel Trailer.... I was hesitant to reach out because so much detail and time was spent designing and building the deck and porch to our exact specifications. However we really wanted to see if these modifications could reasonably be made. I contacted Jordan and explained the situation, he made time to meet me and discuss the logistics involved and agreed the changes were doable and much of the material could be re-used to save costs.
Once again Jordan and his team exceeded our expectations and our new deck, porch and pergola are exactly as we re-envisioned it!

Last winter our deck awning (roof) was destroyed and our sad deck further damaged. This pushed us to tackle a long overdue project. We asked a few companies for bids. All were similar in price, but Jordan at Deck Brothers impressed us with his obvious passion for getting the project exactly right. He steered us toward making better choices rather than simply doing what we asked and letting us live with the consequences. One tiny example: we wanted to make it impossible for raccoons to get under the deck. Rather than offer a common but flimsy solution, he explained the best, most durable way to do this and also why we needed to consider things like air flow under the wood. Jordan also talked to us extensively about the best materials to use to achieve the look we wanted for the project. We felt good about signing up with The Deck Brothers, confident we were in excellent hands. When the project actually began, we were proven correct. Darren -- Jordan's brother; it's a family business -- designed a beautiful deck and awning to work around a few strange things about our house. He built the steps and railings in such a way, for example, to make the whole space look larger and more inviting. It is absolutely gorgeous and we're thrilled with the result. Darren is a true artist and cares about every detail of a project, as does Mwas, the third member of our deck team. Mwas was specifically responsible for the gate into the yard, among other things. Our old gate, we realized, was simply functional. The new one is beautiful -- even the neighbors came over to compliment it! Now they want the Deck Bros to come do some work for them, particularly because the guys went out of their way to be respectful of our neighbors' space. They charmed the whole neighborhood! This was a big project and we couldn't be more pleased with the result. Highly recommend this company. These guys love what they do and care about getting it exactly right.

I used Deck Brothers after weeks of finding the best deck providers - quality, showing up, and value.They did our patio using trex and I must say it was a job well done and excellent workmanship. The one thing I really appreciate about them is the value. I’ve gotten several estimates from different contractors and a lot of them are bunch of robbers. So am glad to find Deck Brothers who focus on quality and reasonable costs!

Highly recommend Deck Brothers! The quality and service were unmatched. We started with a project to repaint and alter our deck and were so impressed that we also added on additional work to stain our wood fence, both projects turned out amazing. The communication was great every step of the way and will definitely use again for any of our deck/fencing projects in the future

Right from the moment he answered the phone...should not have wasted my time trying to explain...he just kept cutting me off and was condescending.
Our project(s) have been complicated, and after hearing of an initial quote of $1300 he again, cuts me off and says "you get what you pay for!"

I did call about getting a fence fixed.  Isn't that what you claim you do?  The original quote was $1300, but if you would have let me speak, instead of cutting me off, there were additions we did to it.  We have paid him more than that, and would have paid him the other half, IF he ever came back!  Your condescending tone wasn't appreciated so I thanked you all the same and hung up.  You never wished me luck.  And of course I would write a review based on a horrible initial conversation.  Especially when there is more compassionate businesses on the market!  Not just looking for a minimum of a $5k job!

We had a unique project that included an elevated deck to expand an existing deck, stairs coming down from the deck and a large awning coming off of the entire deck. The result is fantastic. The Deck Brothers are highly professional with unsurpassed attention to detail. Their work was elegant beyond expectations. They could easily have done a less perfect job and I would still have been happy, but now I'm ecstatic. In addition to their super high quality work, they are great guys and a pleasure to have around.

Deck Brothers did a good job or rebuilding our recycling and garbage enclosures for our commercial property. These gates receive constant abuse. They built a new structure that is functional, durable and looks good. They were very easy to work with and completed the project on time and on budget.

Deck brothers installed a wooden patio cover over my backyard deck. They got the job done fast even in the rain. It was installed over a year ago and I've had zero problems with the addition. The quote was upfront and no extra fees came up during the project.

Jordon did a fabulous job repairing and restoring my deck. He is a knowledgeable, hard working problem solver. My deck is over 15 years old and every few years it needs some maintenance. Jordon replaced about 20 bad boards and then resealed the entire deck. He even took it upon himself to repair (at a minimal additional cost) the understructure after he realized the support beams were compromised. Great worker! Great job!

Great job on the fence and deck repairs, pressure washing of the deck and fence, tearing down a wood gazebo, and painting the deck to make it last years longer. Would recommend!

I emailed about a quote from “deck brothers” I received a call from a guy (He said his name was Jordan Singer) that wanted me to text photos for a quote, I explained an in person quote would be needed as it was a repair from under the deck. He became very rude , texting and emailing profanity. DO NOT contact this “company”. This “company” clearly does not want business. I should have known better than to call a company I found on Craigslist .
