Mr. Gino was great to work with. I had some delays in my end but he was patient and checked in m periodically. He communicated everything very well and answered any questions I had. His team was at my home in the day or work a few minutes before 7 and got to work immediately. They finished around 5, including cleaning up everything, thankfully right before an unexpected rain storm. Mr. Gino even helped with the financing piece when one part didn’t transfer over correctly. Gino was one of the exceptional roofing/gutter contractors that took the initiative to respond to my initial inquiries. He was professional and thorough. He used drone images to identify the work that needed to be done and answered emails and texts in a timely manner.
This was a gutter replacement job on a 5 year old three story townhouse to remedy the initial builder’s installation. Logistics on three stories were challenging. Gino and his crew managed all aspects of the gutter job perfectly in 2 days in spite of 100 degree temps!

Gino showed up within several hours after contacting on a Sunday. He gave us an overview of our options for gutter replacement The price was VERY reasonable. He said his crew would begin work within 3 weeks. The crew showed up early in the morning in the promised 3 weeks' time. Even though the outdoor temperatures were in the 90's F, the crew finished replacing the gutters and downspouts in one day! The craftsmen's work was outstanding taking care to detail. The company did an excellent job roofing an older home with no surprise extra charges. In fact, during the roof repair other issues needed to be addressed like a fallen chimney and falshing replacement which they resolved at a fair price.

MY Pittsburgh Roofing did an amazing job of replacing my roof. Having worked at the contractor’s desk of one of the big box stores for 10 years, I was familiar with many roofing contractors and I got a good sense of how folks run their business. So when it came time for a new roof, Gino was the first one I called. His personable professionalism and know how extends from the customer, his new (to me) partner, James, and his incredible team of roofers, who were a joy to watch working. Good people all around who believe in what they do and each other.

BEWARE, actual potential customer here. As we were looking for repair on our roof, and given the contact information for the repair individual, we were told that they would not consider our repair, even if it included patchwork or was paid out of pocket. Why have a repair team, and be told they have a repair team, if repair work will not be considered? I initially was not going to write a thorough review but this individual also texted my personal phone number claiming that I was spamming, and being argumentative. Unfortunately, they need better customer service and learn how to properly deal with customers.They have lost a potential customer, or multiple, which they may not even care about. UPDATE: Gino, you must have us confused. We have only lived in this property for a year, we had never heard of you until I did a google search about two weeks ago. CUSTOMERS BEWARE this is how they treat POTENTIAL customers. I will copy your response to this in case you ever try to delete it:

From the get go, Gino was fully transparent on the products he uses, pricing break down, through the entire installation of our roof and gutters.

During demolition, his crew noticed issues with the plywood decking. Gino was there immediately to inspect and determined that the entire decking would need replaced. During the estimate he broke down the cost and had prepared us with the potential cost of full replacement. He provided more than enough visual evidence to back up his assessment.

I could go on with stories of our experience with My Pittsburgh Roofing. But if there is one thing that immediately stood out, it was the fact he was the only contractor that took his shoes off even though we said he didn’t have to. He respects his profession as well as respecting your home and your investment.

We had an overall good experience with MY Pittsburgh Roofing. James, the company representative, was able to get out to give us a quote pretty quickly. He was a very good sales rep: professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He spoke very highly of the company, the owner of the company, and the quality of the work they do. He was able to give us a quote while he was here and spent an hour with us going over what options and upgrades he recommends. He also offered us a few discounts, like signing day of and marketing.

They were able to fit us in their schedule about 4 weeks after signing. They told us our date on a Friday and we’re out here Tuesday. They did a great job overall and the crew was hardworking and friendly. We are very happy with the install of the shingles and the color we selected.

The reason we cannot give a full 5 stars is there were a number of things that were disappointing:
- the biggest thing, the flashing (around the chimney and at a joining in the roof) they used was installed in a way that makes the job look cheap. It is now twice the size it used to be. It appears it cannot be fixed because they cut into our brick wall to install it where they did. It’s something that would probably only bother a homeowner, but we were unpleasantly surprised by the appearance.
- We were originally told it would be a one day job and it ended up taking two full days. It would’ve been great to know that ahead of time for the sake of planning.
- Our landscaping was protected on day 1 but not day 2 and a few of our shrubs have seen better days.

Again, overall a positive experience. Thanks!

Gino came out the day after I first contacted him for a roof repair. He provided us aerial photos and a quote the same day, and the repair was completed in less than two weeks. In the meantime he provided detailed explanations of what needed to be repaired and various options for doing so. His crew was very professional, there was not a speck of debris left behind, and I look forward to them replacing the rest of the roof this fall!!

Our roof is large and complicated. We were told the job would take three or four days. It was, in fact, done in three, with a crew working from dawn to dusk. They left behind an attractive new roof and a clean work site.
When the final bill arrived, there were not surprises.
The new roof got a workout sooner than expected: A storm with 80 mph winds went through four days after the job was finished, and did not take down shingles.

Gino and his crew did a very, very fine job replacing my gutters. My house is a ranch style with no gables: 230 linear feet of gutters with 11 corners and 8 downspouts. Work was done in one day (and it rained part of the time), including caulking all joints with quality gutter sealant (not silicone caulking), disposal of all materials, and thorough cleanup. Gino stopped by three days later to inspect the work and cleanup. Quality at a fair price, can't ask for much more!

I asked these guys for an honest estimate of my roof, and they said that repairs were not needed. They could have easily sold me an unnecessary product, and they did not. That shows a lot of integrity.

MY Pittsburgh Roofing replaced a roof and gutters for my house. During the estimate, Gino was very thorough. He took the time to walk me through everything he was seeing with my roof and gutters, he explained some options for the project and answered all my questions. He left me with a very detailed estimate, which was itemized and included a few optional upgrades. Everything was very clear as far as what materials they would use, the warranty, and how the cost breaks down. I got estimates from two other companies and this was by far the best experience. The cost for the project was also cheaper than the other two options I explored.

They took pictures during the job so I could see how the install was going. They used all the materials we agreed on and routed the gutters exactly how we discussed. I contacted MY Pittsburgh Roofing for my 4th roof replacement quote after a recommendation from someone who had recently used them. Gino was the most thorough of the vendors I talked to, explaining things in a way that really showcased his extensive knowledge and experience. Between that and the clarity of the quote itself, I had more confidence that we were getting the right solution for our needs compared to the other vendors. Nine days later, we had our new roof, which added a new ridge vent, edge vents, and exhaust vents. They also installed new gutter guards. The process was great, and I appreciated being able to track the crew's progress throughout the day with the photos they uploaded through their portal. After completion, they spent a lot of time cleaning up and walking around looking for any stray nails and debris. Overall, I was very happy and have already recommended them to others.

We had a few leaks in our roof and decided to get it, and gutters replaced. We contacted a roofing company and made arrangements to meet with a representative. In the meantime, our next-door neighbor was having her roof replaced, and we were impressed as we watched the crew work diligently. We did not hear from the "unamed" company that we were waiting to meet with, so we decided to contact MY Pittsburgh Roofing Company. When we sat down to meet with Gino (Owner), he was very courteous and very knowledgeable about the entire roofing replacement process, from the construction down to all of the materials, that are used by the MY Pittsburgh Roofing Company. He also provided us with drone pictures of our roof.

We were lucky enough to have the company schedule to begin work within about four days after we met. Gino even came out personally and covered a section of our roof so that there would be no leaks if it rained before the beginning date.

The day before work began, a trash dumpster was placed in our driveway to be filled with scrap from the roof and gutters. The next day, the crew began and worked constantly while safeguarding the windows and doors by covering them with protective materials. We were provided throughout the entire process with drone photos as the crew worked. The roof was replaced in "one" day. The workers were very neat and cleaned up throughly behind themselves. Overall I would highly recommend MY Pittsburgh Roofing for any roofing needs. It's incredible and well worth the cost. As someone who worked in roofing, they really are great at what they do. You won't regret it.

This review is long overdue. In 2022 we asked Gino to replace our garage roof as well as the vinyl siding on the garage and addition to our house. The crew was great and Gino provided excellent recommendations and guidance throughout the process. Two and a half years later, our garage and addition still look brand new. We couldn't be happier!

We had nothing but a great experience with Gino and his team. My dad's house desperately needed a new roof. Gino provided us with a full packet of information, showing exactly what he would do and how much everything would cost. He was also happy to stop by again with samples. I had gotten estimates from other roofing companies as well, but My Pittsburgh Roofing had competitive pricing and Gino seemed the most enthusiastic about the project. The crew did a fantastic job replacing the roof and cleaning up afterward. We didn’t have to worry about anything. Would 100% recommend!

Lost some shingles in the severe storm this week. Saw 2 of their trucks in the next neighborhood doing a scheduled job. Stopped, talked, called the office, and Gino was at my house in 2 hours! For the quoted price, not only did he rebuild the section that blew off, he inspected the whole roof and made minor repairs. To top it off, he flew his drone and inspected the whole roof. Provided me with videos of repairs and drone footage. Highly recommended.

Gino was prompt and efficient with providing us a quote for our siding. They also updated our back gutters/fascia and added gutter guards.The quote was extremely detailed and fair/reasonable compared to other siding quotes. The job got done within 2 weeks of the quote. I initially reviewed Gino about a year ago, but I want to add some context now after working with him a second time. I’ve now used Gino for two roofs at two different properties, and he continues to show why he is the best roofer in Pittsburgh. Gino and his team do honest work at a fair price, and you cannot ask for anything better. From your initial consultation to post-job questions and payment, Gino is easy to work with and cares about his product. They show up on time, they clean up when they’re done, they come back if you have a question to ensure you’re totally satisfied, and they do fantastic work.

I cannot say enough good things about MY Pittsburgh Roofing, and they are the only roofer I will call when I need one.

Gino came to give us a quote for a full roof replacement, and in the process we found that whirlybird cover had flown off in a storm months ago and was letting rain directly into our attic.

We paid him to replace the vent cover as he was the fastest to respond to the issue of all the folks we were getting estimates from.

His crew was great and they did the job very quickly even though roof access was very precarious and high.

Gino's quote was also honest and competitive, and didn't hide costs that we knew we would incur during the job like other companies did. Specifically: our roof needs full re-decking and many companies simply list the price per sheet if re-decking is needed, without accounting for that cost in their quote. Gino had the costs clearly outlined upfront.

We haven't made a choice yet on roofer because our roof might require specialty modifications, but I think MY Pittsburgh Roofing would be a great choice for anyone.

Review Update: 1 Year Since Gino and Crew Replace Our Roof

We went with Gino for a full roof replacement after getting more than 5 quotes from other local providers. And they made incredibly quick work of a pretty complex job, usually arriving around 6/7 in the morning and staying long after it was dark. The job took 2 days, and they quickly found some structural issues in our roof once they removed the decking/sheathing.

They fixed those issues at no extra cost, and because our house is super tall (3 story victorian) they took a ton of photos for us to better understand the before and after of their work fixing those issues.

I was reminded to update this review a year later after reviewing those photos and I have to say they did an excellent job all around.

They even re-shingled a side garbage hut that I did not expect them to address at all, and didn't realize they had shingled it until a few months after the job.

Also, when the job was first completed I asked Gino a few questions about the flashing on one of our lower roofs, and he sent a guy out the next day to inspect and seal one or two pieces of flashing at like 6 in the morning in the brutal cold.

Gino responded quickly with our inquiry w. good suggestions and pricing estimate. They were responsive to our questions, keeping us updated with the progress, and got the roof fixed quickly and nicely. I'd use them again should the need come. Highly recommended.
