MTZ Roofing and Remodeling

We were in a jam and needed to repair a failing roof on a property we just purchased. We chose them because their start date was the earliest. This ended up being a horrible mistake - after weeks and weeks of delays, they stopped answering calls. We gave up and had another roofer set to start, but this crew just shows up one day out of the blue and starts ripping off the slate roof (which did not need to be replaced but they refused to do the job unless we replaced it along with the failing roof). They finished the main roof, but disappeared again for weeks as the failing roof continued to allow water to pour into the house. Eventually they came back and slapped on a roof (really a pool liner) and disappeared again leaving all of their materials and mess from both jobs. All the while they kept asking for us to pay the full amount before the job was done. Long story short, the roof leaked even more than the original roof and we fired them before they could come back and make the situation any worse. We had to hire another roofer who had to fully replace the roof MTZ installed, literally months after it was installed. A very expensive mistake on our part to hire this company as we literally had to pay for two roofs. Please don't make the same mistake i did!
