I was very pleased with the speed with which Mt Roofing came out to provide a quote for full roof replacement. The job was well done in a timely manner with the owner being sure to come to inspect the finished job was completed to his satisfaction. And they held to the very reasonable quote!

Who knew a new roof could be so easy? When I called for a quote, the owner showed up on time, climbed onto the roof to see what he needed, while other companies just drove by, and I received the quote quickly. The crew showed up on time, were very courteous, and got the job done quickly and cleaned up all the debris from the job. Fabulous roofing company.

I cannot say enough great things about Mt Roofing Services! Oniver and Daniela were fantastic to work with -- great communication, professional, quick to respond, and always on time. Oniver drove me around our neighborhood to show me roof options, got the job done in one day (wow!), did a fantastic job cleaning up, and went above and beyond by replacing boards around our chimney. Oniver's crew even came with their own microwave for cooking lunch and porto potty! And the whole crew was super nice. We highly recommend Mt Roofing Services!

Mt. Roofing was recommended to us by a friend who is a local contractor. They provided a detailed quote and worked us in when there was a cancellation. The crew was amazing! Very professional and friendly. Clean-up was done every day. When issues were discovered with our old roof, detailed recommendations were provided along with pictures of what they found. Very glad we worked with them replacing our old roof.

Mountain Roofing Services was great! We had our roof replaced along with 2 skylights. They were easy to work with, they communicated well, they were true to their appraisal. The workers were on time, cleaned up afterwards. The owner included us in decision making as the need arose. We had the 2 skylights replaced, as well. The owner came over afterwards for a 'total' inspection as part of the service.

I guess I could mention that our son, when younger, worked for a roofing company for a while. He got up on the roof after completion and said that 'they really did a good job!'

Again, we would recommend this roofing service to anyone!! We felt like we made a great decision by choosing Mountain Roofing Services.

We had our roof & gutter replaced by Mt. Roofing in 2021. They were fast, clean and the lowest cost bid. The bid made we pause but we went ahead and are glad we did. Roof removed and replaced in 3 days with no problem. They were efficient and on budget. They came a year later to repair wind damage on the gutters at no cost. I later recommended them to friend who wanted to replace their roof. Mt Roofing told him that with some repairs his roof was good for another 5 years. The repairs were a bid more extensive than anticipated but were made without a cost adder.
I can't understand the more negative reviews but based on our experience I recommend them without reservation.

I recommend this company. We got a quote with in a few days and scheduled a few weeks later. The roof was completed in a day and a half. The workers were respectful and cleaned everything up completely. Roof looks fantastic! Thanks for a job well done MT Roofing!

They answered their emails promptly and got back to me when they said they would. They were there when they said they'd be there and on time.
The crew made short work of my roof. They had the old roof removed in like 2 hours. They checked for rot and gave me a reasonable quote to replace one fascia board and put up several more that my home was missing.
They were constantly cleaning up as they worked. They were the quietest crew I've had at house. I wanted to yell up to them that they could turn a radio on but then I heard some of them singing.
They had the job finished in 2 days. I was surprised at how fast they moved.
I would recommend this company to others. In fact, I already have.

They did a great job with a complicated job. They replaced an old leaking torchdown with a great new TPO roof. There were large portions of the wood beneath the old torchdown that was rotted out and they replaced this and the end results look great. They were great to work with!

Where to begin? In the height of the heatwave this past summer (June 2021), a recently replaced skylight from a different contractor on a fairly steep angled roof began to slip out of its frame from the melted "glue" that helped hold it in place. As it shifted out of the frame, the skylight was held up by our gutter that caught it. After an initial panic attack and numerous ratchet straps later holding it in place, we scoured the internet for help. We had such a weird experience with the previous contractor that we had to look elsewhere for help. I reached out to many companies around Bellingham. Many. And not one of them would respond. I get it; we're in a pandemic, and everyone is short-staffed, but we had to get this addressed before the rainy season would come because we had a 4" gap in our roof to the outside. The only company that responded to our calls for help was Mt. Roofing. After an initial project estimate and a plan of action to ease our fears of this happening again, the call was made to order a new skylight panel and replace the entire casing and frame. Oniver ordered the skylight, and we were eagerly waiting for the repair to happen in the next several weeks. Remember, this was June 2021... so we waited, and waited...and waited some more. Maybe you all remember or blocked it out of your memories, but this summer saw some significant supply chain delays that we are still feeling. Daniella, Oniver's partner, kept texting me with weekly updates without me ever having to ask. She was checking in with the distributor of the skylights every week, and that kind of customer follow-up was so helpful. I cannot express how appreciative I am of her doing that. She even gave me their contact information to call to see if that would be helpful. After a call to ask if even a ballpark eta was possible that resulted in the gentleman on the other end of the line laughing at me for asking such a thing, I decided to let it rest. The skylight will come when it comes. Fast forward to the beginning of the rainy season - early October-ish. The flat roof section of our home started leaking in multiple places. Whoever decided a flat roof in Western Washington under a small forest of giant 200+ year cedar trees would be a good idea... well, jokes on us for buying it. Sarcasm aside, we love the home, so we decided to completely replace the old flat roof with a fresh TPO flat roof material rather than try to repair it, all under the recommendation of Oniver. Once we finally got a dry streak, in mid-January 2022, the Mt. Roofing crew came out and started the work. A few things went a little sideways, not unexpected with projects on old homes. Anything and everything that we called attention to, Oniver did everything in his power to remedy. The man even came early on a Sunday. This was after an admittedly panicked text from me at 3 am after a few new leaks began to happen. The leaks only occurred because the roof hadn't had a chance to be complete before we had a deluge of rain happen—no one's fault. We can't control the weather. But by god, Oniver came to save the day on his day off. Everything that Oniver and Daniella have done in response to our needs has been outstanding. I can't recommend Mt. Roofing enough. While we still don't know when our new skylight will come, we're very much looking forward to their work on that part of our roof as well. It's been several days of rain since the TPO has been nearly finished, and I'm happy to report that we're dry inside. The communication, the follow-up, the quality of work, and Oniver's responsiveness make Mt. Roofing our new go-to for any roofing needs, as well as who we'll always recommend to our friends and family in the area.

*Not recommend* I am not one to write bad reviews, but I feel it's necessary.

We hired Mt Roofing 6/3/21 to fix rotted wood that was creating a dip in our carport/roof. We figured we would also use hire them to put on a beautiful new roof too. They did work diligently and we were very impressed by their hard work. But then we realized they put on a beautiful new metal roof without touching the main problem we hired them for. So after the roof went on, then they replaced old wood.

Now we have a beautiful new metal roof with bowing metal from the dip that was never addressed and originally hired for. $15,000 dollars that never fixed the original roof problem. We contacted them to finish the job and was told that would be additional charges. They came by removing plywood to push the dip in carport roof up and left it there for days, then weeks to replace plywood they took down. They apologized profusely and when you apologize, you certainly take blame. But now they are saying the carport is not a roof....strangely after replacing the roof which is the carport. Also saying they will do the job labor free if we buy materials.

I spoke to multiple roofing contractors without telling them about what has happened. They ALL stated they would address the problem before replacing a new roof.

Mt Roofing Services did a great job on our roof! They were professional, responsive and flexible with the changing nature of our job. We are very happy with their work and would highly recommend them!

These guys did a great job! the owner came out and did a full inspection for free and said the roof could go another year. then he gave us a very fair and competitive bid. we chose the company to do our roof and they were on time and on budget.they left the place clean and the roof looks great. I would highly recommend them.

Mountain Roofing Services did great work and their customer service was exceptional. We had two buildings that needed complete tear off and new metal roof. Their bid was accurate. The jobsite was kept clean and organized. They kept us informed throughout the process. Would recommend and use again. This is a great small local family business and they take pride in their work.

I'm seeing some negative reviews here and it's interesting that each of those negative reviews mentions Mt Baker Roofing which is a different company here in Whatcom County. I suspect they are mistakenly leaving reviews here since this company has a very similar name. Notice how Mt Baker Roofing doesn't have a Google review page set up.

These folks were awesome. Polite, hard working, prompt, cleaned up after themselves, and the roof looks great. Would definitely hire them again.

I live in a small condo building. we paid almost 40,000 to have all roofs and skylights replaced. there was a recent problem with one condo - the skylight and vent were not properly attached and water got into the attic. this was discovered during an inspection and the owner, who is a contractor, fixed it himself. he has since moved. we have a 5 year warranty on the installation which is still in effect. we were told that if we have any concerns about the installation, they would send someone out. we have expressed our concerns about the skylights and vents on the other units, but they have refused our request to send someone out.

Our roof has both a very shallow pitch and valleys in one area. It had leaked with every heavy rain, on and off for over 20 years. It had been repaired by two other roofers (who will not be mentioned by name) and it still leaked.
One visit from Mt Baker Roofing and the problem hasn't reoccured in the two plus years since.
The guys all showed up on time, each day, and worked very efficiently. They were pleasant, and obviously very good at their jobs.
And as a bonus. They had a very competitive price.
Absolutely no negatives whatsoever.
I have used them on 3 different houses for roofing installs.

They came in, got the roof done quickly & got everything cleaned up, they also did the gutters done & they look very nice. No more leaky roof...

The employees worked non-stop with no wasted motions. Left the job site clean every day and the quality of work was exceptional. Very impressed with all the work that they did at our home. Thank you

I can't speak highly enough about our crew and Mt Baker roofing. The Job was one of the lower bids we had and included gutters, we decided to go with Mt Baker hoping for the best. The crew arrived on time and got to work, they replaced sheeting as needed installed flashing where needed and even painted our chimniny. The roof was all hand nailed and finished to our satisfaction, gutters were soon to follow and also looked great. The crew was on time and professional and at the end of the job did a complete clean up each day and very thorough at the end of the job. The final bill including all the sheeting, gutters and other upgrades and was within reason and not much more than other companies bid for just the roof. I can't speak for other Mt Baker crews but ours was great, 2 other roofs were completed around us at the same time and our was by far the best quality.

I needed a complete re-roof on my home and got 3 bids. Mount baker roofing was the best price. Steve was a pleasure to work with when we discussed options. They showed up promptly and completed the job on time. Roofing and facia look great. Juan’s crew was conscientious and did a great job cleaning up every day. They finished the job and it came in exactly at the cost I was quoted. I am so pleased with my experience at Mount Baker roofing and strongly recommend them!

I would like to update my previous review. Mt Baker Roofing has since contacted me and offered a refund. Everyone I have talked to has been polite and professional.

Part of my garage needed new sheeting due to old shrunken shiplap Mount Baker charged me $30 a sheet at a reduced rate they normaly charge $50 a sheet I payed $17.48 a sheet at local lumber store wow talk about mark up so if you need osb buy it yourself . Thanks MBR for gouging me. you answered the $30 was osb and labor not so you charged me $450 for labor and $450 for osb, originally you told me it would be $450 on top of bid but when I received bill it was $900 more

Always got voice mail, never a person, workers threw away part of exterior to furnace, capped it off starving it of oxygen, would not run, Mt Baker admitted it was their fault, Steve said send bill to them, would take care of it, even after speaking with Smith Mechanical. (message on my phone). About 2 weeks later I received a bill for over $700.00 from Smith Mechanical, Mt Baker refused to pay for their error. Mt Baker cannot be trusted, they left us hanging during heavy rains after taking all our old gutters down. Workers told my wife they would return in a week or two. I had already paid them. Three areas concern me with Mt. Baker Roofing, why can't you talk to a live person, they do not take responsibility for the damage they caused and 3rd, over charging me $385.00 additional for a little over 3 sheets of plywood. It up to you who ever reads my review, just beware. I cannot in good faith recommend them.

5/31 I was going to up grade my review till I found out Mt. baker still has not paid the $700.00 bill they promised to pay. They created the damage, it's their responsibility to make it right.

This is the worst business I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Do yourself a favor and use any other company for your roofing they will bid the job cheap enough to outbid the competition and then afterwards they will Railroad you for more money. From a consumer to another consumer you have been warned!!!

I called Mt Baker Roofing to get an estimate for a home on Lummi island. The company was very professional and seemed to have a lot of dedicated support staff ready to assist. They were not able to help me with my project, unfortunately (it was too small) but they referred me to another company that would be able to help me out. Excellent service even for non-customers. Definitely give them a call if you're looking for a roof replacement.

sent out an estimator about a week later. An estimate was sent out about ten days later, I talked to the estimator on the phone a few days later and agreed to the terms. I was put on the schedule. I was notified about two weeks before the crew was scheduled to begin my project. The first day the crew got set up quickly, they introduced themselves then assured themselves they could begin without disturbing anyone and went straight to work. It was amazing to watch them work; superb professional effort was displayed throughout the entire job by a great and pleasant crew. The job took two and a half days. The clean-up was outstanding. The roofing job seems to be outstanding. Thanks guys!
