Mr. Handyman of South Montgomery County

Mr. Handyman offered repair recommendations for my rental property. I was very pleased with Max and work ethics. I learned about the contractor through Angi list. The items I required were fixed. I will return to this contractor when applicable.

Ronato provided exceptional service installing my kitchen pendant lights. He was knowledgeable and meticulously handled all the electrical wiring. The installation was clean and performed with care. I’m extremely pleased with the service provided and the fast response I received.

Take whatever they quote you on the phone and multiply the top of the range by 2 - if that’s a good price for you, this is a good company for you to use. $160 per hour including the two hours they spend making two Home Depot runs, to the home depot that’s ten minutes away. 3% charge if you don’t have your checkbook on you. Materials out of pocket - nice that they let you do this with out as much markup.

Update: I contacted this company multiple times as they suggested in their reply, and have received zero response.

Mr. Handyman service people continue to do an awesome job each time we use them. First time was at my home - everything was done extremely well. Including building a stair bannister from scratch and building a fence section to patch a gap. This time we had work done at my mom’s house - again excellent work - this time by Saul. Saul was amazing - honest and professional. The original proposed fix for a stuck patio door was to buy a new one and have Mr Handyman install it. But Saul was able to fix the existing door and save us ton of money. We will *definitely* use Mr Handyman again the next time we need help and recommend this company to everyone we know.

We had Nick service our unit. He took his time, found solutions and refused to not be deterred by the challenges of fixing older furniture. He was kind and really attentive to what we needed, providing great suggestions for future upkeep of our unit.

On time and great communication from the get go! My technician fixed a vent cover that NO ONE had been able to adequately fix. He round out the remaining time left in his hour doing about three odd jobs for me. What a thoroughly pleasant technician AND what a terrific job!!!! Thank you!

Loved my whole experience with Mr. Handyman of South Montgomery County from my initial phone call inquiring if the could help with my drapery hanging project to quickly booking the appt and the confirmation. Was sent a photo of the technician that came to do the project. Scott was super friendly and professional and had the job finished in less than an hour and my new drapes look great! Highly recommend and I would call them first for future projects.

Brandon arrived on time. He explained options. Worked quickly and efficiently. Very knowledgeable and versatile. And pleasant.

He performed various jobs that needed to be done: grab bars for master bath shower; repaired unstable steps from our deck; firmly reattached a drainage pipe from our downspout; and more.

This was the second job we had done by this company. Both situations worked out extremely well.

I had a great experience with Mr. HandyMan. Bobby came to my house and did a phenomenal job. He was nice, and knew how to fix the issues quickly. I recommend him to anyone who needs carpentry repairs especially as this is one of his specialties.

Saul was very professional and personable. His work ethic is admirable. The cost pyramid is very steep. Consequently, I doubt I will use this service again.

I used Mr. Handyman for the first time 9/24/24. I emailed a request and they called me back quickly. They had a worker out immediately and he worked through the problem we had and explained it clearly. We had 2 birds stuck in our microwave vent. He spent a couple of hours figuring out a solution and implementing it. I will certainly use Mr. Handyman again.

Professionally and quickly fixed a leak in a drain, cut an access panel for another project, and uninstalled an electric fireplace. Technician Chris has a wide variety of professional skills and ability to assess issues and execute solutions in a timely fashion. Plus was pleasant to work with.

Was very pleased with Jesse, of Handyman.
I was aware that he was pulled at the last minute to add to his work that day. He still graciously showed up and stayed long enough to do all he work which took a little over 5 hours.
He was very professional and affable.
Some of the work had already been done previously by other handymen but failed and had to be redone. His installation seems much more secure.
By coming in and completing the work, I was saved from having to reschedule plans for next week.

Hired to do repairs to my closet doors and the fit and finish was not what I would expect for what I paid. There is a lump where a nail is sticking out of the front of my door and more concerningly there was a red substance that appeared to be blood on the doors. That left me concerned for their worker safety procedures and was gross from a hygiene perspective.

Scheduling also problematic as they scheduled me for Monday and sent me a confo with that date then nobody showed up during the schedule window.

And one star off as they charge a surcharge for using a credit card. I get that's their right as a business but it's my right as a customer to not like being forced to pay more or use antiquated payment methods.

This was my first time using them and I will be looking elsewhere if I need a handyman again.

We got fantastic service from Victor and Brandon of Mr Handyman. They arrived when they said they would, they listened as I described our issues, and they discussed the pros and cons of possible solutions. Once we had decided on a course of action, they got right to work and stuck with it until everything was finished. They know what they're doing, and they're polite and friendly and a pleasure to have in my home. Thanks, guys!

Did great job, and so my only complaint is that they didn't show for first appt, but guess I understand things happen in that regard, so will use this company again.

Everything work out well in time impatience although everything was in pieces and parts I think the handyman for being patient enough to take time to put everything together.

The work was completed in a thorough and professional manner. Renalto was knowledgeable and professional. It was a multi stage process of opening drywall for an HVAC drain repair and the repairing the drywall and painting. The final work left our wall better than when we started. We will be happy to work with Renalto and Mr. Handyman again!
