Mr. Handyman of Northville, Canton, and Plymouth

Jamie called me to assist after my online inquiry , i explained what i was looking for to get done in my home she said she would see if any of the guys would be available and call me back. To this day she has yet to call back almost 2 weeks later.

Mr. Handyman resolved our issue quickly and efficiently. We have used their services in the past and have always been satisfied with their work.

I would like to highly recommend Mr. Handyman. As someone who has relocated multiple times and have had many "handymen" over the years...I can say without hesitation that Mr. Handyman is the best we have run across. From JT the estimator/owner providing a thorough walk-thru, ensuing he completely understood our needs, and even offering suggestions (and his estimate was spot on to the actual billing) to Andrew, our technician, who's workmanship and attention to detail was the best we have ever experienced. We have found our "forever "handyman" and highly recommend them to all.

We have found the only handyman services we will ever use in the future!!! Professional from the first phone call to job clean up. Jamie, JT, Adam and Will, you are all Top Shelf people!! When we were looking for a handyman services we stumbled upon Mr Handyman on Google, called and actually talked to a human... Jamie and I discussed what we were looking for and JT was scheduled for an estimate, he showed up EXACTLY at 9am as scheduled, produced his estimate and emailed it to me within 5 minutes of finishing his assessment, we scheduled the work, Adam and Will came out, arrived at 8am as scheduled, did a fantastic job, cleaned up the works it's so you would never know what all took place! I can't say enough for the quality of the workmanship! Absolutely flawless! They are licensed and insured, if you don't think that is a plus you should think again! Highly professional group of people who take great pride in their work! To say we are impressed would be an understatement!

The repair arrived within the agreed timeframe. He courteous and friendly. He did the repair quickly and I was pleased.

They were schedule to come out and give me an estimate. They never showed up and never called to say they were not coming. If they cannot show up or call the customer to let them know why they did not show up... then I cannot trust them to show up for a job. This does not look good for their ratings as a reliable company.

JT was prompt and personable. He asked questions when appropriate and did a wonderful job. I would recommend him and will use him again for repairs.

I've called Mr. Handyman of Northville SEVERAL times for any project at my office from hanging up pictures correctly, to replacing door handles, to assembling furniture, and putting up wall mounts. They are friendly, personable, and professional and always do great work! I highly recommend.

Great company and reasonably priced. I recommend them for handyman work. Great communication and picture of the technician for safety is a plus!

Overcharged for a job not well done. My dishwasher is not flush like it should be. My grout is severely uneven with the rest of my floor. Totally dissatisfied. Would not recommend.

Update: I’d like to acknowledge that they contacted me and came back out to fix the job that was previously done and have made a wrong, right. For that I change my review to a 5 and will use them again if needed.

We were pleased with all of the work Andrew did with various types of jobs in our home. We will continue to use this company for future projects.

I had Mr Handyman come to my home to take care of 4 different things for me before I sold my house. Adam came on a timely basis and took care of all the items on my need list. He was friendly and courteous and took care of any mess he made. I definitely would use Mr Handyman again.

Andrew Harmon replaced rotted fascia board and aluminum trim that had been damaged in a storm. He did a great job. He was prompt, professional, cleaned up following installation and finished faster than expected. Great Job!

We had porch posts repaired and painted. The process was smooth from estimate to completion. Excellent communication and professional service.

After finding I could not complete my project on my own, I called Mr. Handyman. I got an appointment right away. Adam finished putting up my backyard lights in just over one hour and now I have the backyard I wanted. He was efficient, courteous, and reasonable. One handyman company I called told me I would have to wait a month for service and another wanted $600! I will be using Mr. Handyman from now on.

Andrew just left. he did a fantastic job on the frame of my door and the basement trum. thank you Andrew. also by the way. Ruth does an excellent job with customer service.

Every step was very professional including a photo of the Handyman coming to my house before he arrived. I haven't had to hire a handyman in many years and I was surprised the cost was so high, however, this company was less than other estimates. The Handyman that came was very experienced and handled my job in a very professional manner. I would definitely use Mr. Handyman again!

They are a rip off company charge u to look at the job just to give out crazy high prices for something they could see over the phone I needed a retape on my ceiling so I could paint it they told me 3800 dollars for a tape and mud job ridiculous charged me 50 bucks to look at it that to me is a ponzi scam they running the more work they dnt do for just the 50 bucks is all they really want

Prompt service. My only complaint is that the leaves from the rain gutters were left in plastic bags on my lawn. The city doesn't take yard waste in plastic bags. Previous gutter cleaners always took the leaves with them.

Adam was punctual, friendly, left zero cleanup for me & will happily us Mr Handyman again! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Adam S. was great today. He is fast, careful, knowledgeable, and experienced. He worked on my old (1926) house and adapted his approach in order to suit the demands of old construction. I have another project and will ask for him next time too.

The gentleman who arrived to do the job was extremely efficient and professional doing the job requested. I also ask for a quote on another job and he provided it quickly. I would recommended this company to anyone.

JT showed up on time, knew what he was doing, and not oy resolved the problem I hired him for, but also found and fixed a leak in my kitchen sink. I had bad experiences with other handyman and plumbers not showing up, but this company did not let me down! Highly recommend Mr Handyman!

I needed three wooden fence posts replaced in my yard, after a storm broke them this summer. It was quite a job since they were set in concrete, but the technician, Andrew, made quick and clean work of it. He dug out all of the old concrete, and re-set new posts in the correct depth of new concrete. Everything around where he was working looked absolutely perfect when the job was complete. Ruth was great to work with during the scheduling process and it could not have gone any smoother! I highly recommend Mr. Handyman and will use them again in the future. Fantastic experience start to finish!

Great service. They were able to be here on short notice and took care of several different jobs, electrical, installing shower head and grab bars, mounting tvs. JT was great and got everything done quickly.

At a time when I could not find anyone to come to my house and do the work I needed, Mr. Handyman came promptly, gave me a quote, and completed the work within 3 weeks. The work was great and my handyman, JT, has been hard working, personable, and easy to work with. I am extremely pleased and will recommend them anytime

After several disappointing attempts to find a contractor who would return my calls and/or actually show up for the job, I contacted Mr. Handyman. It was the best decision I've made all year! I was in need of both a kitchen and bathroom countertop replacement. Not only did Andrew show up on time, he was very professional, respectful and courteous. He did a fantastic job installing both countertops, complete with sink and fixture replacements. And all in the same day!

I have several other home improvement projects to complete soon and I'll definitely be calling Mr. Handyman back again!

Ruth is top notch who is a pleasure to speak with and really adds a personal touch to customer service. Andrew is kind and conscientious and his attention to detail is exceptional-my new front porch is beautiful! I am so thankful I found a company and people I trust!

Great experience from office staff to service completion. JT came out and was professional, friendly and fast. Fair pricing, no surprises, and now we're very excited to get some more projects checked off the list with this company.

Have now had TWO great experiences with Mr. Handyman. First was a small fence that no fencing company wanted to bother with. I was leaving to go out of town and needed to keep my dog contained. JT figured out how to do it, got the materials, and got it finished same day. Now had a second project done by JT - painting, crown molding, trim, curtain rods, and light fixture replacement in our master bedroom. Again, JT did a great job. Highly recommend Mr. Handyman and JT, specifically. Will definitely be hitting them up again for my next project.

The two technicians who did the work - Andrew Harmon and James Taylor (JT) - were very professional, respectful and their work was of very high quality. Mr Handyman is a little pricey, but I would use them again because of their reliability and work quality.

My experience with Mr. Handyman was so positive from the very first phone call. They called me after Home Depot place a pro referral with them about some work that I needed done. I spoke with Ruth in the office and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. She offered to have someone come out that same day! The technician, Andrew, was right on time, very professional, and completed the job (replacing our kitchen faucet and sprayer) in just 40 minutes. I am so happy to have found Mr. Handyman and will be using them again for all of my projects and repairs.

I was charged $500 for a dishwasher installation that couldn't be completed due to need new parts. I was then told it would be $1200 for the parts and labor. After a second opinion from a different company I paid $300 for the new parts and labor!!! Scam artist at it's finest. Do not use this company!
