I happened to see one of your trucks driving on the road. I'm sure this is a great company but can we make sure the truck drivers know how to use a turn signal and not just cut people off on the roads? The driver never used their turn signals and had no problems weaving in and out of traffic.

We are rating the company and writing this review based on the current experience we're encountering.

Storm Solutions was great and responsive up until the roof was replaced. They were quick to respond and worked with the insurance company to get all work scoped and paid out to the best of their ability. At the time of this review, the full scope and corrections needed have not been complete... 8 months after the roof was replaced.

We've referred this company to 2 neighbors who live a couple of houses down on the same street, and as of right now, we regret giving them the referrals and additional business. They are giving us a hard time about the referral credit stating they "need to verify" even after stating I still have my text messages with our previous agent, and with proof of address (my next door neighbor and another neighbor 2 houses down were referred).

Some issues we've had:
- We've had to ask them a few times to clean up the tar on our driveway after the roof was replaced.
- Shingles were lifting or not completely nailed down and we waited a couple of weeks for someone to come back and fix them.
- Gutters were not replaced as scoped and we didn't find out until just this month, 8 months after the roof.
- Shutters have not been replaced as scoped and we didn't find out they aren't doing the work until just this month, 8 months after the roof. Last summer we were told there was a vendor issue but recently found out they submitted the shutter bid incorrectly. We spoke to a representative managing our neighbor's roof work and were told they will attach new shutters if we buy them ourselves. We are now being told that's not an option. Different stories being told and not sure which one is accurate.
- Vent was attached leaning towards 10 o'clock instead of 12 o'clock. No mention of anyone coming back to correct this yet.
- A piece of siding looks to be damaged or missing from one part of the house after the roof replacement, and we are waiting for someone to come take a look and fix it. No mention of anyone coming back to fix this yet.
- We do not have the lifetime warranty details mentioned in the contract. It is stated we will need to schedule an annual roof inspection, free of charge, to maintain the lifetime warranty but with no further information provided.

I am currently working with the owner and it's disappointing to learn our agent has not properly or fully given him all the information needed to get our property completed and final payment made. If anything changes, we will consider updating our review. As of right now, we are rating this company with 1 star for the hassle, time to close out the file, and for playing hot potato with the work scoped.

EDIT 6/06/25: The owner called for a check-in. We've increased his rating to reflect the efforts he's made to make things right.

I had some bumps in the road with getting the roof put on and there was some miscommunication between the company, the people who installed the roof and our project manager. The PM that we had was amazing! When the shingles came and I didn’t get a notification I called the PM and within two rings he answered and told me “I’m not sure what happened, let me get in this and I will get right back to you.” Within 30 minutes I had a call back and answers. When the roofers were putting on the roof we had some can lighting get knocked loose. I ask the PM if this was something that happened and he talked me through that it can happen and that night he was in my kitchen on a ladder fixing it! I really appreciate him and how he was always helping me with all my questions.
The crew that came to install the roof had some setbacks and it took them three full days to install the roof. The owner of the company heard about how I was unhappy with the contractors who did the roof and issues I had and he called me and was out the next day to make sure things were right. Having this be a company I was expecting to hear “well you’re one person out of 100 who are unhappy…” basically sucks to suck but I was pleasantly surprised when he said “every person counts and if you’re unhappy I need to hear everything that happened and I need to fix it.” He made sure to get the inspector out to my house (my roof passed and looks great) and then came out that day to get the ladder and make sure there were no other issues. We all know that things happen sometimes but it was refreshing to hear the owner of the company say “every person matters” and then to have the owner come to sit down and listen to the issues I had and figure out how to fix things so others didn’t have the same issues. The other people that I referred to Storm Solutions were very satisfied.

I had some issues in the beginning with poor communication. I spoke with the owner who was extremely nice and asked how they could make things right. He put RJ on our project. At first this was a very bumpy road. The shingles showed up and I was not notified so I reached out to the Project Manager and he was right on it trying to figure out what was happening. It did take three days for roof to get done but it was done beautifully. The issues that I did have I called the owner and he contacted me back and was at my house going over any issue I had and wanted to make sure it was taken care of. It was nice to hear from a company “every single client matters to us and we want to make sure you are happy.” I was honestly expecting to hear that stuff happens and there was nothing they were going to do about it. That seems to be what big companies say anymore.

First-time homeowner and first time getting a new roof due to hail damage. Jose was great. Walked us through the whole process and regularly kept us updated. Roof crew did a good job with cleanup afterwards. Storm Solutions is a great choice if you need a new roof.

About a year ago in 2022, I was unable to use Storm Solutions for my roof replacement and even then RJ was a great communicator throughout the whole claim process. He kept at it even the following year when we had we did have some severe hail and I could finally process a claim. RJ again helped with the entire process and took care of most everything. The entire process was very smooth and they are great communicators. The company workers did a great job and cleaned up well and made sure a quality job was completed to my satisfaction and that of the inspector. I couldn't recommend a better roofing company if you want great communication, good workmanship and a hassle free experience.

It took a year of patience and diligence from RJ at Storm Solutions to work with our claim adjuster in dealing with our insurance company for a new roof, gutters and paint on our home and garage from several hailstorms. It was not an easy task to accomplish! The contractors were friendly, exceptionally clean and had amazing teamwork. The inspector commented on what a nice job the roofers did (how often does that happen). The roof and gutters look incredible. All the materials they used are top of the line. My dad and I got to know Chris back in 2018 when the first hail storm hit my dad's house, and we were very impressed with his professionalism and the quality of his work. It started out great, they contacted our insurance and it seemed done. Sign over the check and I hear nothing for 3 weeks. Then the roof gets put on and passes inspection and I still never heard from them. Was told I was gonna get screens and gutters and that never happened. They will put a roof up but don’t expect any communication.

I am very pleased with the work that was done. Crews were professional ...and friendly. The new roof looks fantastic, as does the new gutters. All debris (including nails) was cleaned up, leaving no traces. Jose Reboirias, the project manager, communicated well with us.

I got my roof inspected by Storm Solutions after a hail storm. Mr. Nevin Weil and his friend showed up on time. They finished the inspection in 15-20 minutes, and showed me photos of a few small dings. They assured me that the roof is in good condition and doesn't need any repair.

Storm Solutions replaced our house, garage and cabin roofs with excellent professional workmanship and perfect customer service. After a comprehensive inspection (Luis A. And D’Marco R.) and working diligently and professionally with the S.F. insurance adjuster (wind and hail damage, unavailable replacement shingles), appropriate materials and color selection (class 4 upgrade to meet insurance rebate requirements), planning, material order and delivery as well as installation was fast and excellent amidst adverse weather conditions during which the crew showed superb dedication and protection of house from weather. Paperwork was easy online (including dealing with mortgage co-sign on insurance check), with frequent updates via text message and drone footage pictures. Material deliver the day before the work right onto the roof was easy, professional and without blocking drive way or yard damage. Cleanup every day and after completion was excellent. The hardworking professional crew of 4 finished the 4 roofs in two days despite frequent weather risks and delicate small piece work on a gazebo, completed in excellent execution. Additional roof repairs for damaged wood and capping old obsolete roof vents were fast and professional, including preparation for new ridge vents across entire roof length. Installation was done with all required code upgrades, new drip edges and replacing / adding metal work on roof penetrations (swamp coolers, roof intersections). Special thanks to Luis who managed the work and work diligently with insurance adjuster and materials availability to meet harsh insurance standards at affordable price. During demolition work of the old roof, yard, plants and house were excellently protected (tarps) and manual cleanup including magnetic sweep for any nails was perfect. We opted for the more expensive class 4 insurance-approved top hail rated shingles to qualify for a substantial insurance discount. Working with Storm Solutions and especially Luis Avila was a perfect roof replacement experience. The installation crew was excellent, extremely hard working and utmost professional work quality in all aspects. Couldn’t have been better.

Storm Solutions provided us with an absolutely professional, high quality roof inspection and installation experience. After inspecting our roof for potential hail damage, Jose Reboiras and Louis Avila carefully marked all areas, roof vents, etc. that sustained damage. The team also inspected gutters, siding and other areas that could have been damaged in the storm. After contacting our insurance company, Jose and Louis returned to meet with our adjustor, highlight damaged areas, and our claim was approved. After receiving our insurance repair estimate, Jose and Louis prepared a formal proposal, ordered materials and scheduled our repair. Since the roof installation crew was highly experienced, the new roof was installed in less than a day, including repair of unseen damage to roofing underlayment. The team also used drones to document damaged areas and repairs for insurance purposes, and deployed special netting and covers to protect our siding and A/C unit during the old roof removal. After installation, they scoured all areas around the house and driveway to remove debris and nails. Since the repair, our roof has been tested by the 4th wettest May on record (including hail) - with zero issues. And since our new roof now has heavy duty "hail resistant" shingles, we can hardly hear rain falling on our roof! RJ was very communicative and helpful during the whole process. The whole roof was completed in one day and it looks great. He even came by the next day to make sure everything was cleaned up.

Great Company. They got our roof done in one day, everything went very smoothly and anytime I had a question or concern, they were right on top of it. The owner is particularly nice and definitely takes care of his customer. We had our roof done by them and then decided to paint the exterior of our house. Unfortunately, the painting company destroyed our brand new roof. We called Storm Solutions and asked for help and they were right there for us and continued to be every step of the way. We got a brand new second roof, done by them. If it weren't for Storm Solutions fighting on our behalf, we wouldn't have gotten the new roof the second time around. RJ initially came up to my doorstep asking to inspect my roof due to the recent hail storm to see if I had any hail damage. He took pictures and showed me the damage and then helped me file an insurance claim. I figured that since he helped do all the administrative work, I would just go with this company.

I had asked about my deductible and about a military discount since my husband was deployed at the time and they said they would work with me. I had damage on my greenhouse that I chose to not fix so that is what I used towards my deductible. My quote included having my solar panels removed and re-installed.

Installation was fine and there was great communication up to that point. Then, when installation was completed, it seemed that they dropped the ball and only communicated about paying the rest of the invoice. I get it, it's a large sum of money and they seem to be a smaller company.

However, I cannot in good faith pay you in the rest of the invoice when you haven't re-installed my solar panels nor have my roof signed off by the City. I had to call RJ to see when they would re-install my solar panels. This is something I have to prep for as I had to leave my gate unlocked and I have free-ranging chickens that I would have to put up and also keep my dogs in my house. No big deal, but it does take some coordination with the rest of the household. They finally get my solar panels re-installed on my house, but not on my shed. Ok, so when will that be completed? I get a date, put my animals away and no one shows up.

I call RJ again and he didn't know that they didn't show up. Finally, they show up 2 days later and re-install my solar panels.

The City then comes to inspect the roof and it doesn't pass because a vent pipe wasn't reconnected to the roof. Another call to RJ. The vent pipe finally gets fixed and my roof gets approved.

I can now in good conscience pay the remainder of the invoice. Initially, I was told that if the insurance company doesn't cover it, I wouldn't be responsible for the cost. Well, my insurance company didn't cover $330 for an ice barrier.

Cue emails back and forth to Peggy and texts to RJ where I was directed to contact the owner. At this point, I was so frustrated and decided to just swallow the $330 to never have to deal with them again.

This was all in Nov 2021, but today they decided to send me an automatic text and email asking me about my experience and if I could leave a review. I responded to the text thinking it was an actual person and not some computer. I told them that my review would be less than stellar. Since I didn't receive a response, I wrote this review per their request.

It's a 3 because at the end of the day I got a new roof and my solar panels were put back in place, but once the roof install was completed, they dropped the ball. I feel like the military discount was just to make me feel good, but I honestly did not see a line item for a discount. Don't promise something that you won't follow through on. I don't recommend them.

I've never dealt with a more professional business than Storm Solutions. Chris Mota, project manager for my job, was extremely diligent with all correspondence and very accommodating to my extremely crazy work schedule. Can't thank him and the guys at Storm Solutions enough, they did a wonderful job and I highly recommend them!

Storm Solutions was easy to work with in getting our roof & flashing replaced after a hail storm. They were efficient, helpful, & knowledgeable. When my original choice of shingles was unavailable, their representative quickly provided other options. Not long after the shingles arrived and within 72 hours the roofers came & replaced the roof in one day. The roofers were careful to protect our back deck, garden, & small trees. Clean up was efficient & effective. Excellent work and the new roof is lovely. I’d post pictures but it’s raining and you can’t really get a true picture of how good it looks.

Handled very well by Chris Mato to replace my damaged roof from wind and hail. Very knowledgeable and easy to talk with also answered my calls in a timely manner. The replacement of my roof turned into a big project but end result was great!

RJ was great every step of the way. We were in communication throughout the entire process and he was always quick to answer any questions. The best part is the progress pictures I got throughout the day from his drone. Super cool to see every step.

The actual work took maybe 8 hours from start to finish! These guys crushed it! My roof looks amazing and they did an incredible job cleaning up. Now I have to paint my house so it does my shiny new roof justice!

I’ve been putting off getting a company to look at my roof since last Fall, and I am so glad I decided to go with Storm Solutions. RJ made everything so easy for us with the insurance. Not only did he meet with my adjuster on the roof to answer their questions and with me many times to answer all of mine, he stopped by and patched an exposed area without tiles the very next day. RJ was on the jobsite the day before, the day of installation and the morning upon completion not only to make sure the crew’s needs were met to keep them on the job, but he took drone pictures before, several times during the installation and the final pictures and sent them to me during the install keeping us with updated information. The crew was also helpful answering any questions my husband had. Chris was a nice man and stayed very involved with the crew and worked along side them several times. A very professional team! Thank you for my beautiful new roof, I couldn’t be happier!

I’ve never experienced, with any service, such prompt responsiveness. It was very impressive and appreciated. Matthew was part of the process every step of the way and my project was completed as promised.

I am very happy with how Storm Solutions performed my roof repair. Dealing with these issues is not something I like to do. However, RJ (project manager) walked me through the whole process and made it as easy as one could expect. The actual repair work was performed in only 3-4 days. RJ kept me informed and was responsive to my calls. I was very happy with their work and they did a great job cleaning up after the job was completed.

RJ our project manager did a Great job, the customer service was great. We were kept in the loop every step. They did what they said they were gonna do and in a timely manner. After they made sure we were completely satisfied. I wouldnt hesitate to reccommend them you will not be disappointed.

Storm Solutions roofing salesmen have come to our house twice now with a VERY INAPPROPRIATE AND SNEAKY sales tactic. They bring LARGE DOGS door to door with them, in what I imagine is a lame attempt to try to win people over with adorable animals. It is VERY INAPPROPRIATE to bring animals onto someone else's private property without permission, particularly all the way up to the door. We have large reactive rescue dogs that had very sad and abused past lives before they came to live with us. If we were to open the door, a very dangerous dog fight could ensue. Even them approaching the house is very upsetting for our animals. And what about people who are allergic, afraid of, or just don't like dogs? This is a horrible tactic either way that exploits animals on hot days on hot pavement in bad air quality and I hope everyone sees through these cheap ploys and goes with a more reputable company for their roofing needs. Our neighborhood is clearly marked with no-soliciting signs, and we asked these people not to come back last time. Storm Solutions - please respect people's safety and your sweet dogs and stop doing this!

Side note: If these are medically required and trained service dogs, perhaps send a second person out with these salesmen so that someone can hold the dog on the public sidewalk so the dog does not need to come onto private property. Or maybe find other positions in your company for these individuals that is less invasive to potential clients.

Juan was AWESOME! He exceeded our expectations. He was very responsive to our every need. Did work beyond the roofing contract. For instance repositioned a gutter and downspout that was improperly installed by the home builders that was creating a safety hazard in winter months. He also cut back tree limbs that were overhanging our roof, causing gutters clogging.
I would highly recommend Storm Solutions for your roof replacement. They were extremely easy to work with.
