What people say about “Morton Buildings, Inc.”?
Customer feedback for Morton Buildings is overwhelmingly negative, particularly concerning their customer service and communication. Many reviewers report long delays in response times, with multiple attempts required to obtain quotes or schedule services. Delivery services are also criticized, with numerous complaints about unfulfilled commitments and lack of follow-up from sales representatives. Although a few customers praised the quality of the buildings themselves, the overall experience seems marred by poor communication and a lack of urgency from the company.

Extremely Disappointed with Morton Buildings – Would Not Recommend
I had the misfortune of working with Morton Buildings for an insurance repair job, and the experience was nothing short of exhausting. It took months—yes, months—just to get them to cooperate with my insurance provider and agree on a price. That should’ve been the first red flag.
Once that was settled and material had arrived, actually getting Morton to show up to perform the repair became its own saga. It took three separate scheduling attempts before they managed to arrive, each delay blamed on "equipment failures" and further delayed each time due to the crew needing to go out of state for other work. After all that waiting, I hoped things would finally go smoothly. I was wrong.
During the repairs, Morton informed me that materials were shorted—a glaring oversight. Even worse, they caused additional damage to an area of the building they weren’t even supposed to touch. While they did agree to cover the labor and materials for the repairs, the situation only got more frustrating from there.
It took six weeks just to receive the replacement materials, and then another seven and a half weeks for them to show up to do the repair and finished the original work. When the crew finally returned, they discovered that the originally shorted materials had not been delivered—which meant another trip back to their shop.
This entire experience was a marathon of miscommunication, delays, and preventable mistakes. Morton Buildings may be a well-known name, but based on what I went through, their service quality is far from dependable. If you’re considering them for any work—especially insurance-related repairs—proceed with caution. I wish I had.
I can hardly say enough GOOD things about Morton Buildings and I highly recommend them! The excellent quality of construction and the professional "can do" attitude of the Sales and Construction people is Outstanding! It was a pleasure doing business with them.
Had a small building built by Morton a couple years ago, could not be more satisfied. From the planning to the construction crew, everything was top notch. Thank You Morton!
